Back..... he cried his little heart out- made me cry too!!

DH is devastated about the charge... as expected as we do have a busy tiem money-wise next pay... we're at the food show, his mum is coming for the weekend, we ahve DS's bday party, have the car tax.... what a pain in the arse!!!!!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 20/11/2008 16:56

i tend to use huggies pure wipes for poo's as i find it hard to wipe the sticky first poo's off, and water and cotton wool for wee's.

kayzisexpecting · 20/11/2008 17:05

Same here Tink, except we use the pampers wipes. We got a box thing when I had DS that you can keep wipes in and the pampers wipes fit it best.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 20/11/2008 17:20

Evening Kids dinner done and being eaten, nice healthy pasta after yesterday's salt and sugar and fat and god knows what else is in hot dogs, am hoping it's not actually dogs!

I used cotton wool in hospital with DS1, then went to wipes at home, (after same problem with cotton wool and first yucky poos) with DS2 we just went straight to wipes, and I always get Johnsons, or sometimes Simple wipes, I find all the others stick together so you try and pull one out of the box and 30 more follow, mucho fun for DS2, mucho pissed off-ness for mum! In fact Huggies are quite good for not sticking together but I find them really thick and they don't smell as nice as Johnsons!

Right I am off, have had mum and two sisters on the phone asking what the boys want for xmas, and what DS2 want's for his bday, and I have no idea so got to start the hunt! DH is probably going to be late so I might be back, if not, have a good evening everyone, Kay don't forget to you know what! And text me if anything starts, even if it's over night, I might not see it till morning but I still want to know!! G'night xxx

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 20/11/2008 17:21

Oh, erm, to be clear, I meant text if the baby start's digging himself out, not if erm.... you know what happens, I don't need to know about that!!

kayzisexpecting · 20/11/2008 17:23

LOL, I will let you know Nat. Hopefully it wont start in the middle of the night. I don't fancy waking my mum up or DS.

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 20/11/2008 17:59

Kayz- text me too!! no matter what tiem it is!!!! my phone might be on silent, but i always check it when i wake up for the loo etc!!

Crapola tea here tonight- mini pizzas and chips!! was the only thing i had in the freezer that could go straight into the oven!! Silly me forgot to get my gammon out to defrost

kayzisexpecting · 20/11/2008 18:02

I can't see anything happening really. I feel ok tonight.

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 20/11/2008 18:09

well after you've had a blimin good seeing to it may all change lady!!!!

can you tell i'm exited at the prospect of the 1st wagoner baby????

kayzisexpecting · 20/11/2008 18:13

I will do probably. Does it still count if I make him do all the work?

I wrote out the phone numbers he needs to have like my mums and my dads and I did a little section of people to text like my bf and you are on there. He was like "Do I know Glask?" I said you were from MN and he has written Mumsnet in brackets!!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 20/11/2008 18:19

haha- good DH- and he better not forget me!!!!

And yes it does count if he does all the work!! with DS my midwife said as long as it was deep then it should stimulate something.... so i think we tried it in a few different positions to get them all in one go!! I couldn't bare being pregnant any longer!!

From about 36.5wks with this one i know i'll be pulling my famous 'you got him/her in there, now help get him/her out' card on DH!!! He loves it really

kayzisexpecting · 20/11/2008 18:21

He wont forget you, I'll make sure of it.

I might stick a note to the bedroom door so if I'm asleep he can wake me up.

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 20/11/2008 18:26

and make sure you wear your best undies to bed, if any at all!!

actually i think my libido levels are on the up again!! all this talk of GOFing.... since DH has been ill this last week i haven't had any in a while..... why is he allowed to winge when i wont let him near me, but i dont even think about it for a week!!! well he's seeming a bit better today... he might get through a GOF without coughing and spluttering on me!!!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 20/11/2008 18:32

right my hollyoaks is on now... and DH will be going to collect my moses basket in a bit... so i need to get the kids ready for bed tongiht.

Tata for tonight ladies!!

kayzisexpecting · 20/11/2008 18:37

Night Glask,

I'm going to take DS up to bed when In The Night Garden has finished. Then I am going to have a bath with the lavender oil I got today in it.

GruffaloSoldier · 20/11/2008 19:05

im pooped >

Long day at work, with stroppy 1 and 3 year old was ok but so tired now.

LOL at all the GOFing talk. Hope it works for you Kay

DH finally felt the baby last night so I'm not imagining it. He was thrilled. 3 strong kicks while we were reading in bed. Yippee, Hes been waiting for ages

Just realised i didnt refresh after catching up so prob missed loads - doh!

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 20/11/2008 19:13

Gruff - I'm pooped too! Just been sleeping on the sofa and really feel like going up to bed now and having a really long sleep.

Kay - love your secret stork thing! I think you've got the wagon on full alert so please try and post if anything starts to happen. Otherwise, Glask and NJ - you have my mobile no!

Glaskham - your moses basket sounds lovely and a bargain

kayzisexpecting · 20/11/2008 19:17

I will keep you posted if anything starts to happen.

I was going to have a bath but I know I'll end up falling asleep and I'll be all wrinkly!!

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 20/11/2008 19:19

Ok Take care!

kayzisexpecting · 20/11/2008 19:25

I am so impatient. I want contractions, but once they start I'll probably be moaning about the pain.

sorkycake · 20/11/2008 19:44

Can you reach your cervix Kay? Have a bath and squat on the floor, or one leg up on the toilet. See if you can see what your cervix is doing, it might give you some idea whether anythings close.
Must have very clean hands tho'.

kayzisexpecting · 20/11/2008 19:55

I feel fine, I can't see anything happening tonight.

kayzisexpecting · 20/11/2008 21:53

I want a pizza!!! But I don't have enough money on me!!!

Its so unfair, you'd think they would do free pizzas for pregnant women!!

GruffaloSoldier · 20/11/2008 21:59

well you could ring up and try and blag one?

im mnning in the bath!now theres dedication

kayzisexpecting · 20/11/2008 22:28

I doubt it would work, be nice if it would. I will just have to have one tomorrow.
