Hi all, im not a regular on here but like to keep up to date with all your progress.

Congratulations to all who have had their little ones and good luck to all those who are still to meet theirs.

I have 12 days until my due date and I am well and truely desperate to pass the days as quick as possible.

How interesting LackaDAISYcal Just waiting for my nest contraction to come along, they are very irregular at the moment, but I'm hoping they become more regular very soon and convince me they are the real thing, tomorrow is my cut off time for a home birth, so this would be wonderful if its happening now, especially seen as though Im 9 days over! Maybe they will kick in properly after 6.17 =)

Morning everyone, how exciting misdee so pleased its finally happening for you, keep us posted

And it looks like its all starting for you too lauraw78, fingers crossed for you that it is the real thing so that you get your home birth!!!

Even the full moon hasnt shifted this baby I think its just far too comfy in here anyway I am not worrying about it now and going to enjoy my last day with DD before I go in for induction tomorrow!!

Hope everyone else is ok, wonder if the full moon will do anything for MonkeyM I think you are the other one overdue??

Yeah! Come on baby misdee!
I am having a day off today, don't want a 13th birthday - is that really pathetic? Probably arrive at 5 to midnight now!
Anyone else read Ben Elton's Inconceivable where they go dancing on leylines or something to encourage conception? Wonder where is good near here for dancing under the moon!

lol. yes was fast. second stage recorded at 7mins! she weighed in at 9lb 2.5oz, and is gorgeously chubby and sweet. she has a first name, Soophie, but no middle name as of yet. is currently snuggled on my lap. am off to bed soon for a nap.

Am now 3 days overdue with no real pains. Saw the midwife on Tuesday and seems she didn't fancy doing a sweep, she made up a couple of excuses. I have a hospital appointment on Tuesday, am worried about waiting for 40+8 until starting sweeping as am desperate not to be induced.

I hate being late [grump]

God that was quick, wasn't it.
Can't believe that Sparky Goth gave us the news, and then mum Misdee was herself back posting, only a few minutes after the birth. Now that really is impressive !!

Thanks Sparkle. Much better night with Max.
He fed very regularly and I got decent bouts of sleep inbetween. can't quite remember the times, but think it was 7pm, 10pm, 12pm, 2am, 5am, 9am.
Feeling better.
Ds at school.
My clening of the house and ironing are being done for me, as we speak.
I am off to make curry.

woohoo Congratulations Misdee How fabulous and lovely and quick!! Ooh - I like news like this first thing in the morning

Laura Fingers crossed you'll get going and have your home birth

LLPJ Sorry about your long wait, I'm a day behind you but hopefully am getting a sweep today (I dunno though) Can you request one before next tues?

MonkeyM Bet you don't have long to go - hang on in there

Morning Lacks

'kay - TMI
Think I have thrush (bah!!) Any ideas what I can buy over the counter for it??
Also fairly certain I've had a show this morning (even though thrush present - is very different, erm, consistency - is defo TMI!!)
Also I only ever get thrush around the time of my period - hormonal I think - and not once during this pg so my question is do you think it could indicate some kind of pregnancy hormonal change (i.e. before labour??)
Yes, definitely clutching those straws!!

And finally..... Will they give me a sweep if I've got thrush?? I mean you wouldn't really want to would you

P.S soz if I have x-posted with this epistle!
