Just seeing if we can get the ball rolling. I'm in N1 and am free most mornings till about 12, and most afternoons except Fridays from about 3.30, though these times can be shifted a bit.

Everyone else: times, places?

Just got a call back - as I suspected, only 4 pedicure stations, so have booked 4 pedi, and 1 manicure for 2pm. 2 pedicures already taken (me and Boompi), so get in quick for the other 2 if that's what you have your heart set on!

Any suggestions for lunch?

Boompi · 06/06/2005 12:03

Thanks KF

I see there are branches of Giraffe and Wagamama nearby. Reasonable places for a light lunch. Not sure if you can book Wagamama though. Both do veggie options for LadyL. Lots of other quite posh looking places too,
Franch - were you looking into this?

franch · 06/06/2005 13:01

Can I claim one of the other pedicures? Happy to switch to manicure if someone is deeply unhappy about having the latter

Will check out restaurants shortly - although Giraffe or Wagamama would be fine - have to dash as my ex-antenatal classmates are coming round with their toddlers any minute

Hello Ladies, I'm currently in kosovo for 2 weeks, but m definitely up for the pedicure! Is it definitely on the 18th?? If so, would it be possible for someone to put my name down, as obviously ringing from here might be a bit of a problem . If all pedicures taken, I'll have a manicure, but preference is feet first (as I almost did myself some damage the other day trying to put nail varnish on my toes by myself!). Wagamama sounds good to me (one of my favourites!), but I think I have been to Giraffe in Hampstead and that's nice too, so whatever everyone else prefers.

Back online 16th June on home turf... will check back then

Boompi · 13/06/2005 11:30

If we can decide on a venue - Im happy to book. As I said I dont know if Wagamamas take bookings. Any votes?

Kiwifruit · 13/06/2005 22:04

I'm happy with Waggamama, but you can't book, so will have to meet outside first, I guess,.

Pedicuress are booked for 2pm, so shall we meet for lunch at 12:30?

Pedicures are confirmed for me, Boompi, Lady L and Franch, so that's the pedicures taken. Any takers for the manicure? Will have to call and confirm this week (am out of the office until Friday, and they have my work number, so will call and confirm tomorrow some time).

Katts - I noticed your name on the original list - are you up for the manicure?

Kiwifruit · 14/06/2005 20:26

bump

Boompi · 15/06/2005 09:57

Sounds great to me!

franch · 15/06/2005 22:41

In haste - just confirming

Katts · 16/06/2005 11:10

Yep, I'm up for a manicure. See you sat!

Boompi · 16/06/2005 12:15

Weather report looks good so dont forget flip flops!

LadyLazarus · 17/06/2005 11:50

Back from hols... Just checking the plans for tomorrow - are we meeting outside Wagamamas in High St Ken at 12.30pm? or inside?

Looking forward to seeing everyone again!

Kiwifruit · 17/06/2005 13:42

I'd say outside - might as well make the most of the forecasted good weather...

Boompi · 20/06/2005 18:37

Good to meet up on Sat. Had lots of fun getting home as no buses for half hour then gave up and caught the tube. Another good reason for going back to Marylebone for me!
I am free most sats end July/beginning of Aug at the mo, if others want to suggest dates. I am also only doing a bit of work from home from the 18th of July then on leave - so flexible re weekday meet ups too.

franch · 20/06/2005 19:10

Sorry I had to run off Boompi! Great to meet you too.

Weekdays are pretty much always good for me

Re. Saturdays, I can't do 16 or 23 July but am otherwise free. I know Kiwifruit can't make 30 July so maybe 6 Aug? Or is that too far off?!

OP posts:
Kiwifruit · 21/06/2005 09:53

6th of August is looking good for me at the moment. Think we should definitely go back to Marylebone - the pedi chairs are way more comfortable!

Boompi · 21/06/2005 10:28

6th Aug good for me.

LadyLazarus · 21/06/2005 10:42

6th August good for me too, and Marylebone good for me as well... found the whole lifting my leg thing up last week extremely uncomfortable! ... just had a thought, this next pedicure / lunch meeting might be the last ever pregnancy pedicure for us!!

Katts · 21/06/2005 11:08

Fine here too.

Nice meeting everyone by the way!

franch · 21/06/2005 13:35

OK, so that's:

KF
Boompi
LadyL
Katts
franch

for 6 Aug. Great! Shall I book Eat & 2 Veg again? Was it OK? KF, are you happy to book the feet again?

andif, can you make this one? Anyone else??

OP posts:
andif · 21/06/2005 15:05

Awwww, can't make 6 August as on holiday! That'll be 2 I've missed. Haven't read whole thread, but does anyone fancy meeting 23rd July - it's the day before we go away, but could be my last chance as probably won't feel like tubes etc much after that. Will now read rest of thread and discover that none of you can make that........

andif · 21/06/2005 15:07

or 13/14th August?......

andif · 21/06/2005 15:09

Not that I want it all arranged around me, but would be nice to see you all again...! What about a picnic in Richmond Park!!!!? (OK, know it's too far for you all, but so much nicer in the sun that central london..........!!!! )

Katts · 21/06/2005 15:17

Andif, 23 July is ok for me. I'm up for some park action (weather permitting) but Richmond Park is a bit too far out for me.

Boompi · 21/06/2005 16:29

Andif - I am currently free on 23rd July and 13th Aug. Think others are away in July though. Starting to think about a weekend away with dh sometime before lives become hectic! Nothing planned yet though.
