Just seeing if we can get the ball rolling. I'm in N1 and am free most mornings till about 12, and most afternoons except Fridays from about 3.30, though these times can be shifted a bit.

Everyone else: times, places?

Look forward to it.

How will we recognise each other?

Don't want to wander over and stike up conversation at likely looking women - just in case I'm wrong and they think I'm a looney...........

Boompi · 07/08/2005 02:49

We will all be VERY pregnant Goldenoldie! I will be over 39 weeks. (Long dark brown hair and about 5 foot 7 if thats more useful!!)

goldenoldie · 07/08/2005 08:00

Great - I will look for ladies with bumps even bigger than mine!

franch · 08/08/2005 13:18

goldenoldie - if you CAT me I'll add you to the meetup email list which has everyone's RL names and mobile no's on it, just in case you can't find us (unlikely I think - I too will be over 39 weeks and am huge already! I'll also have my 18mo DD with me).

Just bumping this to remind everyone as it's a while since any of us have posted here

Ragtaggle · 22/08/2005 18:34

Oh can I come?! I live in Islington and am currently 35 wks pg. I might have to have my 22 month old in tow though - is anyone else bringing children?

goldenoldie · 22/08/2005 18:40

I'm not, but only because I know my 10 year old will spend the whole time moaning 'I'm bored'...............

goldenoldie · 22/08/2005 18:43

franch - I've forgotten my password so I can't CAT anyone.

Boompi · 23/08/2005 08:25

Of Course Ragtaggle! I think Franch is bringing her dd.
Im still free next week.

Kiwifruit · 23/08/2005 09:35

The more the merrier Raggletaggle. I'm still free next week too...

Ragtaggle · 23/08/2005 10:57

Great. Count me in then. Looking forward to neeting you all. Could somebody CAT me the real names and phone numbers of people so I don't have to walk up to the table and announce myself as ragtaggle lookng for boompi, franch and goldenoldie! Thanks (Have sent a CAT to Franch already)

Kiwifruit · 23/08/2005 12:17

Ragtaggle - just sent you a CAT with my name and phone number.

Katts · 23/08/2005 12:57

Just saw this and can confirm that I can be there - assuming all goes well at midwife appointment that morning. Should be over in plenty of time though.

franch · 23/08/2005 20:16

Aw, shame you can't make it goldenoldie. We won't be boring, I promise .... no actually, on second thoughts we will! Babies babies babies ....

Ragtaggle - got your CAT - thanks. Yes, I'm bringing my 19m DD. I'll email you back right now and will send everyone an updated names and no's list once I've heard from LadyL. Assuming LadyL can come, our current list is:

franch + DD
Ragtaggle + DD
LadyL
Boompi
KF
Katts

goldenoldie · 24/08/2005 07:56

Franch - No, I can make it, I'm just not bringing DS so I get some grown-up time!

LadyLazarus · 24/08/2005 11:34

Sorry, yes I should still be coming, provided I dont feel too tired! I'll text someone if I'm not coming tho, so just assume I will. Are we meeting at 12pm outside the Wagamama in the N1 Centre still?

franch · 24/08/2005 14:01

Oh sorry I misunderstood goldenoldie, glad you're coming - and LadyL too. Goldenoldie, maybe you could contact the mumsnet team to change your password so that you can CAT me? I'll email a list of all the other RL names & mobile no's to everyone else in the meantime. So that's:

Yes let's meet outside Wagamama in the N1 centre, franch + DD
Ragtaggle + DD
LadyL
Boompi
KF
Katts
goldenoldiealthough once a few of us have gathered I think we should go in and then just keep an eye on the door for ladies with bumps, rather than waiting till everyone's assembled as it's quite a large group. Does that make sense?

OK, let's try that again!

Oh Katts I don't seem to have a mobile no. for you - could you email it to me?

OP posts:
franch · 24/08/2005 14:17

And ... goldenoldie even if you don't manage to CAT me, could you post here your EDD, ages of your other children, and planned place of birth? I'm including that in the email. Thanks.

OP posts:
goldenoldie · 25/08/2005 19:07

EDD 15 November.

Place of delivery = St. Mary's, London.

DS = 10

Franch - Hope this helps

franch · 26/08/2005 18:52

Thanks goldenoldie. Will wait another day or so to hear from Katts then send the email.

OP posts:
LadyLazarus · 29/08/2005 17:49

Franch - I've just sent you an email... not going to be able to make tomorrow after all sorry everyone. Have a nice day out tho!

franch · 30/08/2005 11:01

I'm really sorry but I'm going to have to drop out today as well. Really disappointed but DD is really not herself this morning - has been a bit off colour for a few days now - not sure what's wrong - she no longer has a temperature but is still a bit miserable and not in the mood for lunch in a restaurant I feel. I was also up all night with twinges and a cough, and wouldn't want to pass on the latter (or whatever DD has) to any of you. I'll send a text to someone. Have a great time.

goldenoldie · 30/08/2005 17:04

Really good to meet you all today. Strange to think that next time we meet some/all of you will have babies in buggies instead of in bumps!
