G'night Latour! Prob 'see you' on here tomorrow then!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 11/11/2008 05:53

Morning

I was home last night, sorry I just stopped texting LaTour, there was speak of keeping me in for more monitoring overnight/this morning if the baby hadn't moved much, but I told them I'd come back in this morning if he hadn't, I had nothing with me, I was shattered, hadn't eaten since lunch, I got in, DH made us some toast (!!! think chicken concoction was better!!) and I went to bed. Have been awake for a while now because my head is pounding and the contractions are pretty sore but the baby is moving absolutely fine, so I don't need to worry about more monitoring.

Glask, so sorry about the text, think LaTour told you, I sent you a text but it came back as 'undelivered' I'll have to double check your phone number with you later, and give you mine.

As much as last night wasn't exactly much fun, I was just across the corridor from where DS2 was born, awwwww (and a little bit ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!)

kayzisexpecting · 11/11/2008 07:01

Morning,

Nat, glad you are home. I can't imagine how horrible it must have been for you thinking you were going to be kept in. Put your feet up and relax!!!!

LaTour, it was really nice having you on here last night. Make sure you come back soon.

I didn't really sleep last night. I had awful backache and just couldn't get comfy. I'm going shopping today which will probably turn into another 2 hour trip. Just don't have the energy to shop. DH was a bit worried that I really shouldn't be doing to much walking around at this stage but I told him I'm within walking distence of the hospital so I'll be fine.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 11/11/2008 07:15

It wasn't much fun TBH Kay! Still panic is over, his HB settled down which is the main thing. Think I will be constantly on the doppler though

Hope your back get's better as you move about a bit.

kayzisexpecting · 11/11/2008 07:19

It is worse when I first get up or if I have been sat around for a while. But if I do too much I get really tired so need to sit down. Can't win really.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 11/11/2008 07:27

Oh the joys hey? Not much longer now LOL Seems like a bloody decade to wait!

kayzisexpecting · 11/11/2008 07:29

4 weeks and 3 days to go!!! Means it's nearly Xmas and we have bought 2 presents!!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 11/11/2008 07:37

Scary isn't it?! When I was pregnant with DS2, I was due on the 29th Nov. I hadn't done anything about xmas at all come my due date, went a week over, by the time I'd got myself together enough to sort xmas after family visits and everything I had two weeks to get it all sorted, with a newborn, I was so lucky he was a good baby (i.e. he was quite happy to sleep in his chair or whatever while I got busy on t'internet!)

That is why I have had the main part of xmas sorted since the end of September! LOL Mind I still have mountains of wrapping to sit and do (am not looking forward to that, even though normally it is my favorite bit) and I still haven't bought anything for anyone else except the boys, and I still need to get DS1's main pressie, and I haven't even thought about the food, cards, decorations and everything else! Perhaps the main part of xmas isn't quite done yet!

Well I suppose I had better go and get the kids up and get in the shower, seriously can not be bothered to move, my head hurts when I move

LaTourEiffel · 11/11/2008 08:36

Morning NJ - I was convinced that the addition of the flowery gown was going to be mean they'd captured you for the night! (Can you tell I hate having to stay in )

Glad you're home - did they give you any reasons for it? Just about to go and do DS swimming lesson so best scoot. Have a relaxing day and worry about xmas when you've recovered from this.

And have you thought about doing an on-line food shop for Christmas, well worth it - even if you put down just the essentials and you can tell them not to substitute stuff too - dry goods like packets, booze, snacks etc for those that like to choose their own meat and veggies....me, I get the whole lot delivered every week and refuse to go food shopping! I've got to much other stuff to do! I love it!

wilsonmummy · 11/11/2008 08:50

Morning!!

I've woken up with the worst hang over feeling!! my head is killing me!!

Nj.. so glad your out and everything ok with bubba, i'm not sorted out with xmas at all but my main concern is to get into my new house first, think i may have to cancel xmas this year!!

Morning Latour & Kay

Had a terrible night's sleep. Bad dreams and think I broke the world record for weeing (10 times! 10 times!)

20 weeks today - half way there thank God!!!

wilsonmummy · 11/11/2008 08:58

oh Cosmo bless ya, that really is a record!!Did you actually get any sleep!!

OP posts:
Diege · 11/11/2008 08:59

Morning! Oh my goodness look what I missed last night!! Really glad you're back safe and sound NAT (and glad too in a way that you were eventually seen by someone and monitored). Is there anything you can take for the headaches? Think codeine is OK in pregnancy?
Great to hear from you too LATOUR - we love your posts as you are part of the fabric of the wagon and it wouldn't be the same without you xx
Looking forward to hearing scan news today from GYO (It is GYO's scan today and HEEBS on Friday - is that right??
Hello to everyone else!

wilsonmummy · 11/11/2008 08:59

Oh and by the way, when i say hang over feeling, i just ment feeling really groggy, not that actually had a hangover!!? )

GYo · 11/11/2008 09:03

Morning All

Welcome back Nat glad you werent kept in all night and things have settled down. You had us all worried last night...

Hey Cosmo- great news on being 20wks! i forgot we are exactly 2wks apart but 10 wees! wow!

Wilson sorry for "hang over" - shame its not... hope you feel better soon.

Latour an online shop is great idea, I've just got back into doing it myself- complete bliss (especially if it arrives whilst im out and DH unpacks it all )

Morning everyone else (pregnancy brain>

Had weird nightmares last night about being back at school age and getting results in an envelope about genetic disorders - realised today we get told about redundancies, so that coupled with what the scan is actually for today is probably where that came from Im sure it will be ok

Will come and post when I get back

GYo · 11/11/2008 09:04

xposts- Morning Diege. Definately scan day!

How are you today?

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 11/11/2008 09:05

LOL LaTour, the nightgown thing was something else let me tell you! Not sure why they told me to get changed in the first place. And nope, no reason, which is a little bit worrying, it could be happening all the time, and I'd not know. Though my doppler will become my best friend again!

We've done online shops a few times over the years, never been all that impressed TBH. We did try Ocado for the first time ever a couple of weeks ago, that was better, but still not the same as picking your own stuff.

Wilson, I can remember the hungover feeling well, not much fun. Chocolate helps, so I'm told...

Cosmo 20 weeks!!! Sorry for bad dreams and weeing so much.

wilsonmummy · 11/11/2008 09:09

Hey just realised 7 weeks for me today...just a million more to go!

OP posts:
NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 11/11/2008 09:10

Sorry x posts with a few there.

Morning Diege and GYo Whooooo hoooooooooooooooo for scan Can't wait for news, and no calling it off this time please!

No, I can't take codeine, well I can, but I wouldn't like to be in the same room as me if I did! LOL I think it is just one of my migraines, have been very over due one, though it isn't hurting as much as my normal one, I can actually open my eyes and stand up! Just feels migraine-ish, spaced out, empty, brain rattling around in there feeling, it would account for the sickness as well.

wilsonmummy · 11/11/2008 09:21

Ha... Just figured out how to upload a picture of my girls!! I'm so crap with computers.. as long as its the basics i'm ok!!

OP posts:
GYo · 11/11/2008 09:29

Defo not calling it off today. Managed to keep this mornings branflakes down so far

7wks today hurray Wilson. Something good about Tuesdays!

Heebeejeebee · 11/11/2008 09:39

Morning all!

NJ - just caught up on the thread - good to have you back, and I'm so glad for you they didn't keep you in. You probably got so much more rest at home.. I hope the migraine clears..

GYo - Hooray for the scan! Let us know how its goes...

Wilson - congrats on 7 weeks today! I'm just over 8 and it seems like a lifetime in some respects and 5 minutes in others!!!

Cosmo - that must be a record - and I thought my hattrick was bad...

LaTour - I heart online food shopping. I tend to do it when we have guests or at least once a month. I love the "you've bought before" list on Sainsburys - creature of habit, me?

Diege · 11/11/2008 10:25

Wilson your girls are gorgeous! They look really good friends too. Wonder if no.3 will be a dd too? I love having girls, and even though I don't mind about gender at all for this one would opt for another dd if I had the choice (though a boy would be great too! - wow, what would I do??!!)
Just a note about on-line shops and xmas - book your slot early! Missed out last year because of leaving it too late Also check out discount codes on mumsnet thread.
Feeling marginally better today. Usual pattern of 2/3 appalling days, then a couple of better..Am trying to get my work done now while I can, though am easily distracted!

tinkisexcitedabouthavingababy · 11/11/2008 11:03

2beautifulgalsandabean · 11/11/2008 11:37

Morning everyone.

So many posts to catch up on.

NJ- glad you didn't spend the night in hospital and that you are ok, only read it all through this morning good job of would of gone to bed worrying

Glask- sorry for headaches/migraines. i only get migraines when pregnant, think i'm getting one as have been lightheaded/dizzy and blurred vision for few days now! Must be something in the air.

Latour- Good to see you back, please don't feel you can't come and speak with/to us its like one big family on here Hope appointment with Consultant goes well tomorrow. I had my op as emergency due to looking like a banana, but think they would of only made me wait a few weeks if not. fingers crossed for you.

GYO- can't wait to hear about your scan, can't remember if you are finding out the sex or not?

Tink- More shopping, i though i was bad?!?! All sounds good though.

Diege- glad you are feeling better today hope it lasts. I seem to have a day or 2 of good days that hits me with revenge too. Will you be finding out the sex with DC4

Kayz- sorry about your bad back, hopefully the appointment with physio will sort you out, not long now. Glad you have the lounge sorted. Not long to go, have you packed your bags yet? Was DS1 on time?

Wilson- Your girls are gorgeous and look so alike! Do they get on?

Cosmo - think weeing 10 times in 1 night is a record. To be honest i have never had to get up to wee in the nightbut that is probably because i don't drink enough.

Hi heebee

So i'm 13 weeks today moving into 2nd trimester. Have appointment with consultant in 2 weeks great. Time to start sticking up for myself.
My sickness comes and oges really thought it would of surpassed by now but this morning was the worst morning ever! Even resorted back to seasickness bands yesterday to see if they would help.
So i have decided that i really don't want to find out the sex of babe. As i found out with both DD's and this will be my last pregancy so would really like a surprise. However DH wants to find out, we are both convinced a boy and DH really really wnats a boy, i would probably prefer a girl! But honestly don't mind. So will see in 8 weeks what happens.
DH's passport and visa arrived back this morning yipee!!!!! Means Disneyland Paris is still on and i can carry on planning.
My xmas shopping is very nearly complete, only really DH's to do and his birthday 15th Dec so pleased with myself, started wrapping yesterday. Once that is out the way i can start packing up the house!
