I saw the bouncy chair last week when we went to look at the ones i'd seen online and liked... then i came home and said to DH, i really liked that bouncer, i think we should ahve got it... then we went to another M&P shop yesterday and i couldn't resist!!

My xmas shopping was all done last week, finished for the kids last thursday.... but couldn't resist the toys and trainers!!

I hope its not that bug either GYo!! it isn't nice!!

GYo · 10/11/2008 10:57

LOL- might share after the scan tomorrow. If all ok Im going to buy a book of names so list might grow!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 10/11/2008 11:02

I've never needed a names book... With DS we had a list of about 20 names i liked at 6wks pregnant... DH went through and added a couple he liked, and crossed off all the ones he didn't like of mine... until we were left with one girls name, and 3 boys names... then we decided on Declan out of them 3, and only decided the day before our 20wk scan.

With DD we knew our boys name before even falling pregnant, and then finally chose one name we both liked a couple of days before our 20wk scan, and that was Bethany...

and with this one we're going to use the same boys name we'd have used for DD, and have found only one other gilrs name we like...

so for a boy Oliver Andrew, and a girl Ruby Marie.... though i'm sure most of you will have heard my names a hundred times already on here!!

Cosmogirl · 10/11/2008 12:49

Hi ladies,

Hope everyone is doing ok. Good luck with the scan take 2 tomorrow GYo. Mine is a week Friday - looking forward to it but a bit nervous as always...

Kayz - you are so close now! I'm getting all excited for the arrival of the first wagon baby

Still nauseous here despite 20 weeks tomorrow....prob going to be one of those unlucky buggers who feels sick until the baby is delivered. At least I am only chucking up once or twice a week now, but it is still totally miserable and affects your whole eating behaviour. Have forgotten what not feeling sick 24/7 feels like....

Am now eating little and often which helps but weight is stacking on. Due to what I lost early on I am still 6 pounds below pre-preg but sure it won't be long until I catch back up.

tinkisexcitedabouthavingababy · 10/11/2008 12:57

gyo - not long 4 scan
glas- those names are gorgeous
hi cosmo - not long 4 your scan either

i am drenched after picking dd up from nursery was lots of flooding on the way 2

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 10/11/2008 13:00

Cosmo- you sound very much like me!! I was the same with DS too, so i'm kinda used to it... I'm feeling much better while on cyclazine tablets in the morning.

I was still throwing up the day after giving birth to DS... and was sick loads during labour... but he was more than worth it!! Do hope your not the same as that as i know how bad it feels... but at the same time you're halfway now... so even if it does last the whole pregnancy just keep thinking about the end!!

I'm still siffering from my migrane, and dont want to mix pain killers with the anti-sickness meds... phoned the GP's and they haven't got back with if its ok to take both, or if there is anything else i can take.

Heebeejeebee · 10/11/2008 13:50

Hi there

Had a v quiet weekend (spent most of Saturday feeling queasy and most of Sunday feeling fine - v odd - DH thinks I'm putting it on!) except going to see quantum of solace last night, which was good. Ate loads of popcorn (without going into tmi I need the fibre. Fybogel is my friend at the moment

Got my booking in appointment through for 27th November - helpfully at 11.15am, so I'll need to figure out what lie to tell work..

Here they call it a health and safety assessment, but I know I'll get one once I tell someone..

GYo - hope the scan goes well... I'm wishing my life away hoping Friday comes quicker than it feels at the moment...

Glask - your names are lovely.

NJ - hope the levels stay down

wilsonmummy · 10/11/2008 14:44

Yay for carpet!!!!!!!!!!! It so nice!!! The room is almost finished now and I love it. Just need a bookcase and a new sofa now!!!

Feeling really tired and heavy today. Feel like I've been hit by a bus. Getting so fed up now.

Getting a bit worried about baby waking up DS in the middle of the night. Some clever person in the supermarket today suggested I buy a cd of babies crying and get up intentionally during the night to play it so DS gets used to it. eah ok BUT I would like to get as much sleep as possible before baby arrives.

tinkisexcitedabouthavingababy · 10/11/2008 16:17

hi

it is cold who is she lol

glas poor u with migraine they r horrid
kay yah for carpet sounds like it it coming along well

i am worried about that 2 dd will be sharing with this one once they r sleeping through. hoping she will stop getting up early once baby here as she will be worried about waking her

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 10/11/2008 17:17

Kayz and Tink- with DD she was sleeping throguh from 7 till 7 with an 11pm feed and a 5am feed, so i decided to put her into DS's room with him then... the first night she woke for both feeds, i went in and fed her, DS didn't even stir, the second night she only woke for the 11pm feed, and the next night slept straight through!!

I was so worried about them sharing a room, and DS was only about 20mths at the point when we moved her into his room!!

I'm not too bothered about this one... hopefully we will delay moving them in a little longer than we did with DD but only becasue both of them are now in beds, and i'm worried they will throw toys in that aren't suitable for baby etc... so we're hoping to move Dc3 into the kids room at about 9/10mths...

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 10/11/2008 18:03

wow- its very quiet in here today... where is everyone??

I'm having a major sugar craving, just drank 2 glasses of coke- i NEVER drink coke... and am now sat here eating sweets that were leftover from the giant tub of sweets i got for halloween!!!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/11/2008 18:39

Sorry haven't caught up, thought I'd let you know we are off to the hospital, have major head ache, feeling a bit sick, baby barely moved today, HB on the doppler is all over the place.

Glask, I have your mob number, if you don't mind if anything happens I'll let you know so you can keep everyone up to date? I have Cal's as well but she's not on as much nowadays....

See you soon hopefully! xxx

kayzisexpecting · 10/11/2008 18:44

Nat, take care of yourself, I hope its nothing serious and you can come home tonight. Fingers crossed for you. X

Thats nice to know Glask. Not much wakes DS but a baby crying is a new noise so not sure if he'll sleep through thats.

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 10/11/2008 18:50

Nat- sorry to hear that... hope all is well and you can come home asap... dont worry about texting me, i'll keep everyone informed if you do!! Take care!! (and a sneaky {{{hug}}} for you- but dont tell anyone!!)

Kayz- He'll get used to hearing baby crying in the daytime before it's time for them to share a room...

GruffaloSoldier · 10/11/2008 18:52

Hello all!

Glask - freaky coincidences - I suffered from migraine last night and this morning and have been craving coke big time for the past two weeks too! Not to mention we are both 17 weeks - spooky

Wilson - I also have Ava as a name but am only allowed as middle name as niece (DH's side) is Ada and he says its too similar I am still hoping I may be able to convince him though
How is DD's food going by the way?

Gyo - exciting about scan tomorrow!

Diege - sorry to hear you are still suffering.

Ok sorry if I have forgotten anyone, there was quite a lot to take in after weekend away. Im pretty rubbish at remebering

We had a wonderful time in Yorkshire at the weekend but I did do to bed at 3,30am on sat so am paying for it today! Saw my old friend on Sat who lived is Bridlington and her three gorgeous boys. 4,1 and 2 months. They were just such characters, we all had such a great weekend. The cottage was fab too. Would def stay there again!

Hope everyone else enjoyed their weekend.

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 10/11/2008 18:54

NJ - hope everything's ok. Thinking of you.

Kay - room sounds good

My 4yr old godson has just had his 5 month old brother move into his bedroom.. He loves it! In the mornings he talks to him and tells him to stay quiet so Mummy can carry on sleeping!

Can't believe the weather today - it's been so wet and windy Disgusting!!

Heebee - I want to go and see Quantum of Solace but have borrowed a friend's copy of Casino Royale first as I think it's meant to follow on.

Glask - I'm sure you will but please update us if you hear from NJ.

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 10/11/2008 18:56

Interesting about the oranges as I've eaten 3 bags of satsumas in the last week!

Yay for movements too! I can't wait to feel my little bean!

lardybump · 10/11/2008 19:15

Nat hope all is ok, I have my fingers crossed so tightly for you.......

Hi to everyone else...

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 10/11/2008 19:15

Maybe its the vitamin C?? tho mine has to be oranges, organic ones too- the skin and white bits are much thinner, and they have a sweeter taste!!

Just seen an advert for the new Enrique Eglasias (shame on me if i've spelt it wrong!!) greatest hits album- may have to add it to my xmas list!!! It looks brilliant!!!
