Hi, I'm also on the June thread but officially my due date would be 4th July 2009 so thought I'd better set up a thread for all these summer babies.

Got 3 BFP's yesterday although technically I am only 3+2 weeks. Would love to symptom spot with fellow early testers. Surely there must be more of us out there !! I can't be the first

I've made an app as I'd be 12 weeks around the 23rd Dec which as someone else pointed out is a very busy time to be wanting a scan!

No symptoms here as yet apart from the odd niggling tummy 'muscle'type pain and feeling a bit spaced out.

Had another osteopath app today as my back has been giving me jip since I strated running 6 months ago. I'm really wanting it sorted now before I get tubby! I'm still running though (he said to) anyone else running?

Ex is in the local doctors alot through work and friends with gp.

Although feeling decidedly twitchy cos, apart from feeling a bit weary and the occasional tummy twinge, the nausea's gone. Should be happy I know, but it's worrying me. Although I remember feeling very smug that I was symptomless last time, until 24hr nausea an crushing tiredness kicked in at around 7 weeks.

There's no way of telling if things are still OK, is there? Apart from asking for an early scan? Sure I'm just being neurotic, which should be a sign of PGness anyway, cos I'm usually not!

Got organised today so phoned the doctor's and I was put in the Midwife's diary for her to call me to arrange a booking appointment ! so hopefully get my scan before Christmas still doesn't feel real xx

Hmmm. Wore jeans that were too tight today and am suffering the consequences. much twingeing, so larding it in loose joggers tonight

Went to see about making a MW appointment and here they don't want to see you until 8-10 weeks. I wangled a 7wk appointment in case of scan queues and godawful morning/all day sickness as per last time.

Does anyone know if it's possible to avoid morning sickness the second time around if you had it the first? Seems some escaped the first time but got it the second, I was just wondering/hoping if the other way round is at all heard of?

Definitely heard of it! My sister was as sick as a dog with her first and hardly at all with her second. It's just the luck (or bad luck) of the draw!

how is everyone doing then? any symptoms yet? i feel normal, but then i usually do till about 7 weeks anyway.
am desperate for them tho, would rather be throwing up every 5 seconds so i know everything is ok

Hi all, just adding myself to the list. Symptoms seem to have kicked in this week as I am exhausted, feel sick on and off through the day and am really thirsty. We told DS (8) about baby today and he asked which one of us was having the baby - mummy or daddy?!!

Natty, am also thinking I'd quite like symptoms as a sign all is OK. Bit weary, bit snappy, feeling some twinges and occasional hint of nausea but I keep thinking that's just in my head cos I know I'm pg.

Was very smug first time thinking I had no symptoms then was struck down at 7 wks with nausea and total exhaustion. Hoping to be let off more lightly this time around.

Hi This is my 1st BFP with mumsnet

Only tested on day due on but got a fast BFP! Extremely suprised as this is our 1st month of TTC - hubby is in shock I think!

We have 1 DD already who will be 2 next month.

Worked out my EDD as 16th July - couldn't be further from DD's birthday and looking forward to a summer baby!

Very nervous though as have had mc before and am franticly going over every symptom in my head lol! Quite a bit of nausea and really grumpy!

Natty - put up with the fireworks or the kids ? DD insisted we leave the fireworks cos they were too loud, but then insisted we returned. Settled for watching them from the path the other side of the park hedge!

Hi all how are you doing today?

My god I am so cranky, crampy, and tearful dd (22 months) is STILL teething so that's two of us in the house like it.

Today has been a real trial as over tired child refusing to take a nap and exhausted mum barely keeping it together, DH at work. We usually go out when it gets a bit fraught but couldn't face the wrestling match involved in shoes & coat & getting her into a car seat or buggy.

I hope either she or I feel better soon.

Scully in a v similar situation to you. They booked me in early and have an early scan on 24th Nov but I wouldn't let them (GP & MW) book anything else in yet. Hope it all goes well.

I'm having a similar time to Mij - nausea all but disappeared and had bags of energy this week... that was, until 7pm tonight when I crashed out on the sofa when dd went to bed. That's the only thing keeping me hopeful that all is going well.

Just got round to looking at dates and my scan won't be due until the week after Christmas. Question is, will I be able to hold off telling folk till then? I expect not

Like beccabump this pg will be the opposite end of the calendar to my last one, and actually I'm not sure I like it. I'm always flat out in December through work and going to have to make a real effort to make dd's birthdays as energetic as a July one!
