Hi, I'm also on the June thread but officially my due date would be 4th July 2009 so thought I'd better set up a thread for all these summer babies.

Got 3 BFP's yesterday although technically I am only 3+2 weeks. Would love to symptom spot with fellow early testers. Surely there must be more of us out there !! I can't be the first

Im getting symptons left right and centre too. I'm sure they didn't start this early with the other 2!
We only get 1 scan here so pushing for a dating scan by giving vague dates!

HI all

has everyone seen their dr yet? I was going to leave it till about 8+ weeks?

Am feeling fine at the mo but apart from tiredness with my 1st 2 I escaped everything early on (I did have terrible morning sickness with my miscarriage which was very odd) I'm glad I'm not tired at the mo as I've got a 1 year old to cope with! (He's 1 tomorrow, it's wierd to think that this time last year I was in labour...)

I am pleased with our birthday spread as ds 1 is March, ds 2 nov and this one will be july.

Susanmary - I run 3x's a week 40 mins-1hr and are going to carry on for a while.

No, got an appointment for next Friday cos like PPs I thought I should get in early in an attempt to beat the Christmas rush!

Anyone PG with Number 2 who's feeling it's all a bit of an anticlimax this time round? I'm happy of course, but it doesn't seem real and it doesn't seem such a big deal...

SUCH a party pooper

wooklyjo, we're in a similar boat - my lo is 23mths.

mamamimi so sorry to hear about your MIL. What a rollercoaster of emotions. How's your dp doing?

I'm extruding wind from every orifice at all times it seems. A bit jittery generally, as in feeling a bit wobbly. Lots of stretchy twinges down below. I've got the beginnings of nausea which didn't start for me last time until 6wks (but boy did it start!). I'm trying to stave it off in the vain hope that by eating any time I feel faintly off colour. I remember last time getting ravenous at a late lunch out with in-laws. I could have eaten the same again but didn't, and suffered in silence. Then the [all day] morning sickness hit, and I could never eat enough after that to feel well again until 17 wks. So obviously stuffing my face is the answer even though, like mamamimi, I don't really fancy the food when faced with it.

Mij - yep no 2 was a bit of an anticlimax. I guess that's why I've not been to the drs yet being no 3. Dh has still reacted the same as the other 3 times (miscarriage also) by announcing that he has 'super sperm'

I still have an OU course to do, school runs, housework etc etc so aprt from the postitve test yesterday I'll let it all tick on for a while.

I will be fighting tooth and nail for an elective c-section though so that'll be interesting I'm sure!

Hi

Can I join, just very quietly and tentatively in the corner for now. Got BFP today, due date 13th July. Really can't believe it.... We lost the first bean in July this year at 10 weeks. So quite nervous and everything is crossed.

hello!
just got my bfp.. according to clear blue i am 3-4 weeks, LMP was a mmc, which buggers up ur dates anyway, i ovulated nearly two weeks late going by that, around week 4 instead of week two, didnt get positive test till 5 weeks and 4 days after mmc.
so i think im about 3 weeks, as i test sat and got a negative test

Newb, there's lots of tentativeness (if that's even a word) on this thread, I'm sure! I know I'll be keeping everything crossed and preceding every conversation with DP about number 2 with 'if all goes well'. So as not to jinx it, y'know?

Can't believe food is starting to taste like cotton wool already. I hate the 'I'm really hungry but I don't fancy anything and anything I eat doesn't taste of much and I don't enjoy it anyway' phase. Although it does stop me eating like a horse!

hi girls, well I am feeling awful ! Am so shocked by how bad I'm getting the sickness this time around. Had it all day and it's getting worse.

Was meant to be going on a day trip tomorrow with friends which involved 2 train journeys, dinner followed by a sit down concert but daren't go because I know I'm going to be ill all day !!

Tiredness is getting me aswell this week. Was quite smug last wk at staying up till gone 11pm and getting up at 7am with no problems but now I'm knackered by 5pm.

I'm with you girls on the dating scan thing. really hope it's before xmas because I know I'll feel much more settled after I see the little bean on the screen x

Sorry to hear you're so tired and sick funkybunp

I think I will give the dr a ring tomorrow to make an app as thinking about it I'm 12 weeks on dec the 23rd...not the best time to plan a scan I'll bet!

I'm tired in the evenings -like now- but will be having early nights to try to help. Wanting to tell everyone I see but know I can't. I've always been crap with keeping my pregnancies a secret till 12 weeks. Was just chatting with dh about double buggies and how on earth I'll cope as no 3 is due just when the schools break up for the hols. A newborn, 21 month ds 2 and 5.5 ds 1 for 6 weeks is sure going to be a baptism of fire!

QueenFee · 05/11/2008 21:05

muppetgirl - i am also having a baptism of fire with baby due in july! i have DS who will be nearly 3 and DD who will be 5.
I was hoping to get away without a double this time - but now having serious doubts!

the thought of going away from routines would be the end of me .... now how many nice friends do I have who are training to be nursery nurses who would like some work experience in my home over the summer

queen fee have u considered a buggy pod? they are an extra seat for a toddler that folds flat against the side of most prams when not needed.
means getting on bus is easier, and getting around small isles in shops.
did the double thing myself as DS was only 13months when DD born and not old enough for the buggy pod.
its a life saver now, he is 2 1/2.

so lets have some stats so we can get a list going, i'll start, then copy and paste adding yours xx
