Hi, I'm also on the June thread but officially my due date would be 4th July 2009 so thought I'd better set up a thread for all these summer babies.

Got 3 BFP's yesterday although technically I am only 3+2 weeks. Would love to symptom spot with fellow early testers. Surely there must be more of us out there !! I can't be the first

Congrats Natty! Sigh of relief for you!

Gillyan - I've had lots of niggling pains which I associate with my cs healing. I've always been tender to the left of middle and I can get some quite sharp pains there now. Much sympathy to you.

Headaches - I've been on the verge of many, but seem to have avoided them so far by eating and drinking.

I've a feeling that my old evening sickness is on the rise again. I didn't manage to eat much at all last night and so I was up in the wee small hours starving and icky. I decided to try and avert the same tonight by eating much earlier so I made a baked spud and salad. I was desperate to finish it but so very nearly was sick in front of dd. nnnng. Now feeling hungry / heartburn-ish / icky. Hate this.

I had a mad day today. DD had her 2 years developmental review with the HV which she passed with flying colours, discussing things with her that she normally saves for the 4 year olds! [quietly smug and chuffed emoticon]. DH had chosen today to book the car in for repair, so I had to wait in the cold and rain for the bus to get back to work, and got there eventually at lunchtime to find that a window in my room had smashed (someone (me?!) hadn't shut it properly and the wind got it) and it was freezing.
So the ushot is, I've been haring around the place all day in he freezing cold and now DH is out for the evening so I can't even go out and get some stuff in for DD's birthday tomorrow. I've been so crap that I haven't organised anything, having only vaguely asked in-laws for tea and that is it.

Hmmm. Can't dwell on it - need to find a snack and go for a sleep!

Queenfee - how's the SPD? My big walks with a heavy bag today seem to have dislodged things and I'm suffering this evening

HI everyone. Just wanted to check in and say hi. I am too sick with all day and all night MS to post (too much talk of food on the board for me at the moment!).

Night night all

Hi all nice to catch up, have my scan tommorrow can't wait been counting the days.

My bump is so big am in shock, got asked yesterday if I had long to go?

LargeGlassofRed · 04/12/2008 21:22

Belgrano, my Ms is so mush better this time still ther but barable.
Have been taking 50mg of vit b6 everyday am sure its definantly helped.

hobnob57 · 04/12/2008 21:41

I had no idea these developmental reviews existed either until I got the letter last week. Quite chuffed as it was nice to hear what other kids the same age are up to and to discuss any concerns with HV. If you haven't taken DS to the HV yet christiana, I would think up a bland excuse and go for a chat. He'll defo be on the system after that.

Sorry belgrano to be so self-obsessed with food. I really hope it improves for you soon - I remember so vividly my all-day-but-especially-after-5pm-sickness from last time. We MUST be bound to be feeling better soon?!

largeglassofred good luck for tomorrow - hope it's only one!!!

NattyTurkeyAndEggnog · 04/12/2008 22:54

Mrsmope · 05/12/2008 13:44

Hi to everyone,

Haven't logged on for a while as I have had and still have a bad chest/viral infection? Not sure which, but am now on antibiotics that I'm hoping will work soon as I have been having the most severe coughing fits and am concerned that could damage the baby.

Congrats to LargeGlassofRed and NattyTurkeyAndEggnog on your scan results. I have my scan on 30th December, when I will be 13 and a half weeks but it seems such a long time to wait I am thinking about paying for a private scan to put me out of my misery.

Misspaella · 05/12/2008 13:52

Natty so glad scan went well, must be such a relief.

Largeglass OMIGOD - how do u feel? How exciting! Do twins run in your family?

Gingermumi hope the bleed has subsided. I had cervical erosion with DD when I was in my 2nd trimester. I had a pinky/brown bleed and freaked and that is what it was. I still don't get what cervical erosion means but it is not threatening to the baby so you will be ok.

How is everyone else doing?

mum2boys2girls · 05/12/2008 13:57

Big CONGRATS largeglassofredwine how exciting you must be over the moon

mickeylou · 05/12/2008 14:35

Largeglassofred - wow thats amazing! tell us more about the scan - no wonder you were getting big with 2 sets of everything in there !

LargeGlassofRed · 05/12/2008 14:39

mickyloo, I had a tax rebate the other week so i thought sod it, am going to treat myself to an early scan,
Ther's a place just round the corner from work, babybond.
It was £95 but so worth it, don't think i could have waited till after christmas

mickeylou · 05/12/2008 14:51

Did DP go with you? how did he react to there being 2? x

JetLi · 05/12/2008 15:08

Congratulations to LargeGlassofRed and Nattyturkeyandeggnogg on your scan results!

So very sad for Saz. Awful news.

Sorry to hear so many are still struggling with the evil MS.

Gingermumi - hope the bleeding disappears. I'm having a bit too but the tiniest amount and only upon wiping after a BM - definitely coming from the lady bits though. MW said not to worry unless it gets worse or I get any pain. Wish it would go away! Am now overdosing on satsumas in the hope of less straining.

Anyone in Westfield or similar? I checked and they will let me claim for my private dating scan - not sure if this helps anyone? I had mine in Sheffield for £100. I will get 75% back on my Westfield plan.

NattyTurkeyAndEggnog · 05/12/2008 15:52

how many weeks are you glassofred?
wow twins, gosh u must have been surpised. im telling you i held my breathe until they said everything was ok, and i was like "theres just one yeah, please tell me theres only one"
