Hi, I'm also on the June thread but officially my due date would be 4th July 2009 so thought I'd better set up a thread for all these summer babies.

Got 3 BFP's yesterday although technically I am only 3+2 weeks. Would love to symptom spot with fellow early testers. Surely there must be more of us out there !! I can't be the first

mavornia · 29/11/2008 19:01

ah, phoenix your ds is adorable - was laughing at the halloween picture, very apt after the day you've had

Misspaella · 29/11/2008 19:04

Phoenix great pic. I had to have a nose.

I think husbands can be trained. DH is now off to buy me some ice cream. From hardly helping to being a star....wonder how long this will last.

Mavornia sorry you had to postpone your trip. On the plus side you'll have DH with you.

What time is Britney on, does anyone know? Is it far too sad to care at my age?

woollyjo · 29/11/2008 19:10

lydiathetattooedlady · 29/11/2008 19:36

gillyan well without hoping to give myself away...not unless any one on this thread lives in the leicestershire/manchester -i have LADY MUCK tattooed across my fingers as its a nickname my mum used when little. i too had plans to get some work done this month, was having a tribute piece to my little brother who passed away in sept
ooh time for x-factor...in a bit ladies x

lydiathetattooedlady · 29/11/2008 19:50

forgot to add that i did go through major piercing stage, you name it i had it! nose, septum, two in lip, nipples, two bellybutton etc. only have my ear stretches and tragus left in now tho!

gingermumi · 29/11/2008 21:05

so sorry ready, take care X

Welcome and congrats to newbies

Gillyan · 30/11/2008 00:50

lydia me too! I had my nose done both sides, my eyebrow, my lip, bot hmy tragus' both my nipples and my belly in 4 places all the way round and I've got 6 each in both ears! Phew, I grew out of them all and got fed up with them, just got my ears now and thats it, everything else is out although I reckon I could shove one through my nose.

I haven't had any work done for neraly 2 years now but will have to get next baby name put with other one. I've got to be careful as I work in a stuffy Building Society where I have stuff so might go for my legs for tats next, maybe.

LADY MUCK that s brilliant, what u like!

I am now boycotting X factor as I only liked ruth and I just want to kill Diana, she's soooo annoying!

Hope everyone is okay xx

mickeylou · 30/11/2008 09:26

Hi everyone, wow this thread moves fast. took me ages to catch up. so sorry ready for your loss.

I knew i had caught a cold on thursday at work and felt rotten all day friday but yesterday was shocking. MS kicked in with avengeance just as i was feeling like death as it was. spent the morning on my setee between runs to the loo.

went to asda with mum and sister looking like something from night of the living dead. then worst nightmare happened when i lost DS. sister's kids chased him into store, mum followed only to come back saying she couldnt find him.we had to have his name shouted over tanoy! i was completely freaking out - anyone could have taken him etc!!! lady from george department brought him back and i looked liked worst mother to walk the planet, especially since i looked like i was nursing the mother of all hangovers.

after the drama went to my mums and slept all afternoon on her setee while she looked after DS. thank heavens for my mum!

DH picked us up after work and i went to bed while he did tea for DS, bath and bed. got up to watch x factor - had some chinese takeaway (eaten very slowly). then back to bed.

just remembering how truly awful i felt when pregnant with DS. just hoping it doesnt last as long this time. (24 weeks)

got up ok this morning - had a hot chocolate to stave off queasy feeling. seems to have worked for now. hoping for a better day today, surely cant be any worse!!

Just sampling a glass of Eisberg Alcohol Free Cabernet Sauvignon. It ain't great... Anyone recommend some grown-up drinks? Fruit juice is getting to be a bit dull.

poor you mickylou what a nightmare.

I've been shopping all day and bought the tree and all my decorations and xmas cards and wrapping paper and everything!! Woo, very excited. Tree is up and DD loved putting all the things on, I so can't wait for Xmas now.

I've been feeling quite well today, had an urge for chicken baps with apple sauce, pickled onions and beetroot! Hmmm lovely.

I'm getting very very fat. Can't believe it, I'm overweight anyway but I'm getting a bit worried about how big I'm going to get as I'm 2 stone (ooppss) heavier than last time i was PG.

I'm looking forward to getting my hair colour done tomorrow and hoping it will make me feel more human

thinking of you all - does anyone think this next 7-8 months is going to go so slow??

JetLi · 30/11/2008 19:52

Thanks Christiana - I'll give that a try.

I think the time will go really slowly Gillyan - although I jumped the gun a bit and worked out I could start my maternity in mid-April if I went at the earliest opportunity - that cheered me up no end !
But it scared the pants off DP (who is also my boss).

Belgrano · 30/11/2008 20:45

Sorry ready2pop. Take care and take it easy, please don't blame yourself.

QueenFee · 30/11/2008 21:23

Hello all

Sorry not been aroumd for a while - its taken me ages to read the 10 or so pages since I last posted. However here is why (big moan coming so please feel free to skip!!!)

Last wed in my MS I dont feel like cooking stage I ordered a curry. Big mistake as I spent all of thurs getting very well aquainted with my toilet. This was not just MS. Because hubby was still not feeling well I called my mom asked her to come up with the itention of going be#ack down to hers for a few days on fri to get a rest as was exhausted.

This was not to be. Fri morn sees Dh collapsing me rushing him into A & E and basically spending the last few days in and out of hosp as he has been really poorly

Saturday my kids were ill with a cold (the really nasty sort where they sit still all day and whinge) This morning both my mom and I woke up with same cold - kids now better and full of energy.

I feel a bit better tonight but came back from visiting hosp to find my mom now really ill. She is now in bed unable to do anything.

To top it all off my DS appears to have lost my back door key (this leads to my freezer /utitlity room) so I am now completely stuck.

As regards to Maternity clothes - I am wearing mine and they are very comfortable thanks!

Strangely have lost appetite at the moment prob stress.

Sorry to those who have lost their babies in my absense.

A big welcome to the newbies

sorry its so long....

Phoenix · 30/11/2008 21:36

Gosh QueenFee what a week. Hope you all recover quickly.

I've spent all day feeling like i've been kicked in the ribs or like i spent all yesterday wretching and i couldn't work out why. Well i've just been to the toilet and realised why. Without going into TMI i was rather constipated yesterday (and still today) and think that has caused the aching

I haven't felt sick as much today either but have still had the odd sicky moment so not too worried.

Hope everyone's had a good weekend

NattyTirednessAndExhaustion · 30/11/2008 23:09

hey guys sorry to hear we all feeling poorly.
ive got an awful cough, prob cos its just SO cold atm, but my evening sickness is going strong.. how weird is that tho? no morning sickness only evening sickness? maybe its cos im tired

im craving tea.. its the only thing stopping my sickness in the evenings, so again maybe it is tiredness and the caffine is helping?

Gillyan · 30/11/2008 23:32

Hope you have better week this wk quennfe jetli I cannot wait to start my maternity leave I really can't

scully · 01/12/2008 03:44

Hi ladies, had my scan today and I am 8wks exactly, so gained a day After 2 m/c it's nice to have a scan with a heartbeat visible and development matching my dates. Still feeling quite crap, not helped by dd2 throwing up today with a tummy bug
When the list is next updated, can someone change my edd to 13 July, thx.
Have my nuchal scan booked in for 5 Jan, when I'll be exactly 13wks.
Know what you mean about constipation Phoenix, had that last week, awful isn't it
Finally found something that I feel like eating, ice blocks (ice lollies for you guys) Hot here again today so they are refreshing and not hard to digest. dd2 is a fan as well
