Hi, I'm also on the June thread but officially my due date would be 4th July 2009 so thought I'd better set up a thread for all these summer babies.

Got 3 BFP's yesterday although technically I am only 3+2 weeks. Would love to symptom spot with fellow early testers. Surely there must be more of us out there !! I can't be the first

Not bleeding so heavily, but dark with clots and still a lot of cramping. Spoke to doctor - she agrees is prob a mc and nothing to be done. Hey ho. Just trying to feel blessed with my two boys and better to mc now than later. Trouble is, I'm 39 so kind of feel like it might have been my last chance...

Forever hope you are ok!?!

This bit is the hardest for us all I guess - not feeling well and fearing mc - is anyone else just consumed by it all? I hate wishing life away but I really want the next 6 weeks to fly by.

Gillyan I am just over 6 wks and due July so definitely stay here.

Gillyan · 15/11/2008 12:26

forever I so hope your okay? there's absolutly no reason why you can't have another succesfull PG, my SIL had her 2 kids at 38 and then 40 and my Aunty had one at 40 and i know of loads of people in their 40's who have had kids - don't give up

Misspaella and christiana thanks I worked it out based on 40 weeks and yep it's 7th July not June, silly midwife - I suppose we'll no exactly when we have dating scans.

I too just want these next 6 weeks to fly for all of us! last time I was PG i remember thinking that the next time I would be so chilled out and just enjoy it but you don't do you - and I've got the added anxiety about the bloody birth as had a terrible time last time - so yep I too am wishing it all away, I don't think a pregnant woman/ mother can ever shill again!!!

gingermumi · 15/11/2008 15:46

Hi. Am due 21st July. Have ds 10mnths and two dds age 20 and 17 (I am 42), so forever this is definitely not your last chance! Hope that you are ok, you should see someone though, lots of people bleed and still have a successful pregnancy. Take care.

Am a bit shocked and scared and wasn't going to add myself yet but saw forevers message and thought i'd post anyway. If it's any help I have crampy feelings too and had them last time, i think it's to do with the hormones.

Hello ladies, another BFP here, much to my surprise, have DS 14 months and threw pills away on his birthday and never expected to be here yet, i mean i thought you needed to have sex more than once a month, right?!
Still coming to terms with it,posting here means i must be. (5 days after BFP) So fingers crossed for us all and looking forward to sharing lots of experiences in the next few months xx Due 18th July, I think....

gingermumi · 15/11/2008 21:00

bozette.. we only did it once last month....

onomski · 15/11/2008 21:10

Hi All,

I'm new here.
Got my BFP on Wednesday, Yaaay!!!
My #2 is due on 22nd july. DS is almost 3, DH is well chuffed, thinks he's a bit of a studmuffin.

Looking forward to the coming 8 months.

NattyTomAndEllen · 15/11/2008 21:12

same here ;)

Gillyan · 16/11/2008 10:45

Hi to all the new people - cograts on the BFP.

My sickness is kicking in now - I feel really light headed and I can't cook anything but my partner is being a love and cooks stuff ( which believe me is a bit scary) and as soon as he gives me the food I'm famished!

Hope everyone is ok

GotaBFP · 16/11/2008 11:44

Hi do you mind if i join? I've changed my name for now but will reveal my regular name as i tell people. I know some people in RL on here as well as regularly posting on a few threads.

I just got a BFP this morning. It came up strong straight away

I've got 1ds already and according to the due date calculator i'm due July 20th.

Congrats and good luck to everyone else

GotaBFP · 16/11/2008 11:46

Is it normal for your belly to be a bit sensitive/painful when you press on it? I can't remember it with ds .

lastboxoftampons · 16/11/2008 14:27

Hello all:

Another one here hoping to join you. Got a BFP yesterday morning (and 2 more this morning ). I ovulated super late this cycle - not until CD24! So aside from worrying a bit about "old eggs" and mc, my due date isnt' until the end of July (the 27th). I had an mc in March of this year, so feeling very cautious , but excited nonetheless. Looking forward to chatting with you all.

GotaBFP I don't remember ever feeling sensitive to the touch (except for my boobs! ) but I do tend to feel quite crampy.

Misspaella · 16/11/2008 18:59

Hope everyone has had a good weekend and surviving the tiredness and ms. I have just about pulled myself together yesterday and played with ds and dd. It feels really hard right now trying to be a good mommy/wife when all I want to do is crawl into bed.

I am not sure how long I will be able to keep it a secret from RL friends. I look like shite and my tummy is definitely loads bigger.

Congrats to all the new BFP's.

hobnob57 · 16/11/2008 19:27

Congrats lastboxoftampons!!

I think my ms is well on its way. DD was up until 3am on Friday night with a temp and I could feel my innards heaving with the effort of staying awake. I had to go and have a tangerine to stop myself from being sick.

I've been useless today after being up again with dd last night. Poor DH has been buzzing around doing jobs and cooking for dd while she and I have been falling asleep on the sofa in our jammies, trying to persuade each other that we want to eat something!

So here starts the long road 'till Christmas (or beyond)... [fingers crossed]... empty belch

We've stocked up on ginger beer and dried apricots, so hopefully I can keep myself perked up at work with those.

What are everyone else's ms 'must have' snacks? I'm looking for new ideas!

Gillyan · 16/11/2008 19:47

congrats to - lastboxoftampons (brilliant name) and gotaBFP

I'm sure my tunny felf sore to touch last time - it is now but I had my appendix out earlier this year and I have bloated quite a bit, well a lot - I reckon I look 4 months gone! anyhow my scar is pulling a bit I think.

Hmm must have snacks - prawn cocktail crisps, salted pretzels and rich tea biscuits! I'm struggling to finish a meal which is not like me as very large appetite, also I'm loving vimtoe with lemonade.

I tried getting cottage cheese and wholemeal pitta's etc but they are not good ebough snacks and I just throw them out. I've always stuck to wholemeal bread but am now addicted to whitr taostie loaves! I don't know how much of this is real urges or if I'm just thinking sod it andeating all I want!!

GotaBFP · 16/11/2008 19:59

The tenderness doesn't seem as bad now. I think i'm just paranoid with it been so early.

I didn't have any sickness (or any other symptoms actually) in my last pg so hopefully this one will be the same.

I've no idea how i'm gonna keep my pg secret for another few weeks. I need to tell someone (and i know i'm gonna slip up somewhere on here with my namechange)

hobnob57 · 16/11/2008 20:11

Mmmmm prawn cocktail crisps & salted pretzels sound good.... Time for some shopping!

Just read about your nasty 1st birth experience on another thread Gillyan - fingers crossed that this time will be so much better for you.

QueenFee · 16/11/2008 21:41

Gillyan - I always go by my dates not the midwives as both of my dc's were born on my dates not theirs
Feel free to stay x
Welcome to all the other new bfp's since ive been away - how the tread has grown eh?
Forever - sorry I dont know about the twin thing but hope that bean stays there for you

I am getting lots of sickness overnight very weird. My cousin was over at the weekend and said are you sure your just 6 weeks I have to say there is a definate bump there now - maybe because I have no muscles left after 2 prev preg!

Gillyan · 16/11/2008 23:16

hobnob57 thanks - I hope this time is better - I have to say I suppose I have got knowledge on my side this time and I was alone last time ( very long story - unplanned PG - decided to go it alone ) this time it is all planned and I have a very supportive partner who I'm hoping can be my voice if things aren't going my way.

Somoene off another thread has just recommended AIMS website that can help you get the birth you want- gonna have a look when I've got more time - I've been back and too on planned section verses normal delivery and I think it's got to be better to have a normal than a major op but I've got ages yet to decide - I'm rambling!

queenFee hello, yes I'm going to go off my own dates and see what scan says, oohh i can't wait for us all to have our first scans!

scully · 17/11/2008 02:14

Know what you mean about not finishing meals, I've been like that all weekend, also unusual for me
Feeling nauseas today for the first time, 6wks tomorrow I think. Have been wandering around the house, not know what to eat for lunch, have settled on soup so hopefully the right choice Seeing my gp tomorrow and will be requesting a scan at 8wks.
Sorry to hear your news Forvever
Great that you had a good scan result Christiana, keep enjoying those potatoes

GotaBFP · 17/11/2008 09:01

I just rang the docs to make an appointment. They said i just need to drop a urine sample in at reception. Do you think i'll still need to see a doc or will they just pass me on to a mw?

Misspaella · 17/11/2008 11:06

Morning
Queenfee, you're not the only one with a very swollen tum. I am looking a lot farther along than my last pg (this is my 3rd). Doesn't help that the only food I can stomach are white carbs (salty crisps primarily) .

Hi Hobnob57 have you tried snacking on popcorn? That and crisps are my thing.

Ooops, looking at this, I see that I need some healthy snack ideas. Anyone have great tips for that?

Christiana glad to hear your scan went well, what a weight off your mind.

Hope everyone is doing well today.

Mrsmope · 17/11/2008 13:15

NattyTomandEllen thanks for adding me to updated due list. Am still really anxious as didn't feel sick at all the other day and convinced myself that the pregnancy wasn't going any further but the next day it was back with a vengence which was reassuring if annoying. Also I had really sharp pains low in my pelvis which lasted five mins a few days ago which haven't returned, so at the moment I'm like some pregnant hypocondriac!!!
