Hi there

Did the test last night even though DH wanted me to wait a few days. I wanted to just do it to see if i could have a glass of wine or not and hoo-bloody-rah after 6 months of TTC number one i got a BFP on the free ClearBlue digital test!

So need to get a GP appointment but reckon i am due on 5 June 2009.

Anyone want to join me?

jools & strawberrysam - I bled for 12 hours with clots and my daughter is painting here in front of me. Wishing you the same luck with yours. Lots of sticky thoughts and hugs - it's so tough.

Ineedmorechocolatenow · 11/11/2008 14:35

Jools and strawberrysam I hope you are both okay. Let us know how it goes. Thinking lots of positive thoughts for your little beans xx

Hi ladies - haven't posted for a while. Had a nerve wracking weekend with bleeding from Friday until yesterday and a further wait until today for a scan at EPU. Nice nurse said oh there's the baby and it's absolutely fine (big relief) oh and there's another one!
You're having twins. (gulp) Already have 2 year old so it's going to be busy. Guess they're not going to arrive at beginning June as previously supposed so I'll have to change threads. One very surprised mummy...

llynnnn · 11/11/2008 16:55

congratulations magnummum!! how exciting!! so pleased you had a such a good scan after what must have been a stressful weekend!! yay!! please stick around here too if you get the chance tho, no need to dash off

Ineedmorechocolatenow · 11/11/2008 17:33

Wow! Twins magnummum! How excting!! Lots of twins on both mine and DH's side so it's always a lottery when you go for your scan... DH's cousin bled a lot when she was carrying twins, I think it's more common....

Good luck! x

Tee2072 · 11/11/2008 17:49

wow, how exciting magnummum!

So I had my scan today...everything is perfectly fine. Measured at 7 weeks 6 days, saw a little blog with a heartbeat!

I'm gonna be a mommy!

Ineedmorechocolatenow · 11/11/2008 18:32

Hooray Tee that's such good news!!

Jools1 · 11/11/2008 19:03

Fab news on todays scans - congratulations

Not such good news from me I'm afraid - spent the afternoon in A&E and gynae bleeding everywhere It happened so fast and there was so much blood - was just terrifying

Internal exam has confirmed m/c. All that remains is a scan tomorrow to confirm there are no "retained products"

I'm kinda OK at the moment but I'm sure it will hit me later. Wishing you all the very best. I may well continue to lurk and cheer you on from the sidelines but please take me off the list xx

magnummum · 11/11/2008 19:17

So sorry to hear your sad news Jools. Hope you can give yourself plenty of time and rest to start getting over it - which you will, but it's tough.

LittleSarah · 11/11/2008 22:45

Jools - so sorry about your miscarriage, that is just dreadful. I'm sure you'll have a gorgeous baby one day, although I know that will be little consolation now.

StrawberrySam - Glad your news was good, it is lovely to see the heartbeat.

Tee - Glad to hear your scan went well too! It's lovely.

LittleSarah · 11/11/2008 22:45

Doh, can't believe I said lovely twice!

Tee2072 · 12/11/2008 06:34

Good morning, ladies!

This needing a wee thing at 2am is for the birds. I could not get back to sleep, thanks to OH snoring his head off. I finally moved to the spare room and feel back to sleep around 3. And then woke up at 5:45a. Gah!

Hope everyone has a good day. I will be showing off my picture of my blob all day! Too bad you can't see the heartbeat in the picture!

I am 8 weeks today...OMG only 7 months left!

snowwombat · 12/11/2008 07:06

jools just so so sad for you. Thinking of you. Make sure you take plenty of time for yourself and DH. I found the miscarriage threads here offer fantastic support. Take care.
