Brand new BFP's - anyone due a June 2009 baby?

Hi there

Did the test last night even though DH wanted me to wait a few days. I wanted to just do it to see if i could have a glass of wine or not and hoo-bloody-rah after 6 months of TTC number one i got a BFP on the free ClearBlue digital test!

So need to get a GP appointment but reckon i am due on 5 June 2009.

Anyone want to join me?

Oh yes - am having very vivid dreams that are sometimes quite freaky !!

Yet another pregnancy symptom apparently

My wierdest one so far was giving birth to Siamese cats and getting stressed because one of them wouldn't keep still long enough to be fed

Last night, I think I was gathering field mushrooms in an enchanted forest, accompanied by Gordon Ramsay and my two (real) siamese cats

Yes i been having strange dreams to didn't even twig could have something to do with bump!! I dreamt a couple of nights ago i was walking down a country lane and as i got to the end of it a man tried to punch me but missed so i ran off screaming to run into a woman who befriended me! who i eventually found out was trying to lure me bk to this man again, freaked me out!!!

Thank god it's not just me then my DH thinks i'm going mad...well madder than I already am
Here's hoping these dreams dont last the whole 9 months...dont think I can take being chased of wild boars and snipers again...

I had such a bad dream the other night that I woke up crying! I can't even remember exactly what it was about, but I was having trouble with something or other and no one would help me. It was horrible!

littlesarah - me too - all went wrong at 8+5. Today I am 8+3. The midwife told me they are independent of each other and this means nothing, but it's still a bit unnerving isn't it?

I would so love to have another scan at 10 weeks, but think I will be saving for 12 week testing as it seems to be pretty minimal at our new local hospital and I'm over 40 so issues there too.

What a relief if I get to 13 weeks unscathed.....that's all I can think.

Oh and yes lots and lots of dreams here too. I wish I could remember last night's as I think it was a fun one. I've never dreamt of giving birth - that must be kinda surreal!

wierd dreams here too, tho i dreamt that dh had gone off with this gorgeous, stick thin woman and he said this pg meant nothing to him i woke up in tears and wanting to hit dh who was sleeping soundly next to me!! bless him!! think i'm v v v v paranoid!!

I'm now feeling quite strange - not miserable at all but I have tears hovering and have been in floods twice this afternoon - strange. I am also completely and utterly shattered - eyes feeling so heavy that I could go to sleep standing up ! This is after "working" from home all day, so no exertion at all really

Oh Jools you need lots of rest.You are at that overwhelming tiredness stage that seems to hit most of us at some stage. Hope you get a good nights sleep.
I am feeling fine this evening. Suffered MS all morning but no actual vomiting. It is so horrible, you'd think I would remember it all from last time but I seem to have blocked it all out.
As the day goes on I feel better and now I am ok. A bit tired though so not staying up late tonight.
Boobs are sooooo sore....

And there was me thinking I'd avoided that bit, as I'll be ten weeks on Friday !! Strangely I won't mind though - just happy to have more symptoms !!

Actually I think I may be coming down with another cold - am sneezing a lot

Was looking forward to watching part 2 of Spooks tonight if I could stay awake, but the snowy sleety stuff in Hertfordshire has killed the satellite signal and we can't get a picture on regular TV here

and i am having the most randy dreams - NOT involving DH either.....

god it is 9.25 and i am absolutely shattered - night night girls!

does anyone else feel sick when taking the pregnacare tablets? i forgot to take one yesterday ad felt absolutelu brilliant all day - no MS or nausea at all. then today, having resumed the medicine, it's back.
anyway just an observation and probably my mind working overtime.

and has anyone else got pregnancy acne? i have, but literally it is only on the left hand of my face. really embarrassing!

I'm having the weirdest dreams too.Last night I dreamt my best friend told me I couldn't be bridesmaid at her wedding any more.

My sister keeps telling me I look wrecked.I know I do,but I wish she'd stop saying it!

Summerbird I also had a saucy dream last night and dh wasn't in it!Quite enjoyed it actually
Hope you got a good nights rest jools.
I was in bed and asleep before 10pm last night so I think the tiredness is slowly creeping in here to.
My DB and his girlfriend are coming over to stay with us a week on Thursday for 5 days. I am really looking forward to spending time with them but just don't think I will be able for chatting into the night.Will have to leave them to it.Loads of places to go and things to do so not too much pressure on me.It's just having to think of meals and cooking for extra people that tired me out.M & S will be playing a bit part in that weekend.

Well had another weird dream last night...I was arrested for drug running and I had to go back to Primary school.
Sickness has came back but tummy feels weird, very tight and tense which I don't like...wish I stayed at home today and didn't go to work

Good morning all. Bit worried as all symptoms, other than tight trousers, seem to have disappeared. Very very strange. Oh and I'm very very tired. But no spotting or anything. Very strange.

helpivegottogivebirth Do you eat when you take them? I always take them on a full stomach and have no nausea at all from them.

Morning . TEE, same here - sickness appallingly bad yesterday but seems to have definitely lessened today From what I've read HCG levels can fluctuate in early pregnancy, and unless there is spotting etc there's no need for concern. I'm sure we will be fine xx
I had strange dream last night too. Gave birth to a full size toddler (boy)that I was strangely calm about . I think I was more surprised that baby was a boy (have 3 dds) than 3 years old

Just, had no nausea yesterday and I'd convinced myself it had all gone wrong by teatime. Then... nausea!

Tee feeling similar to you today, bit of nausea when I woke up but have felt okay since.

Plenty of weird dreams although I haven't remembered any recently, still absolutely knackered. In bed about 9.30pm last night, dh came with, he was very tired to but apparently he lay awake for two hours this morning. Not me.

Going to have to stay up a bit later on Friday as having some people round for dinner. Sure I can man - zzzzzz...

Morning all

No dreams last night that I can remember ! Was up at 2am for a wee, checked on the snow and then tossed and turned for the rest of the night, so shattered again. It must have been cold - I had one cat curled up against my belly and the other in the small of my back Poor DP was on the edge of the bed !!

My boobs were a lot less sore yesterday - I'm long for some stretching pains or something to prove there is a bean growing

Walking to the office was treacherous this morning - no sign of grit / salt anywhere and I saw 4 separate accidents. I'm bad with walking on icy paths at the best of times, but was absolutely terrified of falling over this morning, so my 25 min walk took more like 40 mins !

Another one here with wierd dreams, have had them on and off through all my pregnancies, it's one of those things that doesn't seem to wear off for me.

Diege, I was genuinely surprised when dc3 turned out to be a boy, I was convinced I was having another girl, even asked dh to check again

I forgot to mention the weird dream I had last night where my mum was renting a middle flat for a holiday home and the flat under her was rented by Anthony Stewart Head (Giles on Buffy the Vampire Slayer) whom I have a huge crush on! In the dream, my mum didn't have enough room for me to stay, so I went to stay with him!

I told DH about this, he was less than pleased.

Jools I also was up around 2 for a wee! I did eventually fall back to sleep!

Hi, whoever is responsible for clocks changing is a very bad person indeed!DD waking up at 5 now!To think I will long for the days when she slept till 7!!
I know its early days yet (5-6 weeks) but I dont feel verry pregnant..Acctually I just dont feel pregnant..Maybe its becouse I worry about the baby so much that I dont want to thik about it too much till after tha scans and tests...

my nausea is on and off too - i worry when i dont get it then feel crap when i do get it!!

helpivegottogivebirth I think you are supposed to take Pregnacare tablets on a full stomach so try eating first if you havent done already.

i am just taking boots folic acid tablets as the pregnacare ones are massive and make me gag!
