Brand new BFP's - anyone due a June 2009 baby?

summerbird · 27/09/2008 15:37

Hi there

Did the test last night even though DH wanted me to wait a few days. I wanted to just do it to see if i could have a glass of wine or not and hoo-bloody-rah after 6 months of TTC number one i got a BFP on the free ClearBlue digital test!

So need to get a GP appointment but reckon i am due on 5 June 2009.

Anyone want to join me?

hey cote

You forgot to put your clocks back its only 8.40!! sorry hun just made your day longer!!

CoteDAzur · 27/10/2008 09:14

I wish! I live in France, so we are an hour ahead of the UK.

It is still 10:15. Debating whether I should now eat a little baby lunch before the big lunch at noon...

bigcar · 27/10/2008 09:37

Morning all!

My lot were all up at 6.45 this morning, wish they'd manage that on a school day That's pretty good for dd3 though, especially as the clocks went back yesterday, thought she'd be up really early. At least it's half term this week so we don't have the manic rush to get out the front door by 8.30

Hoping for some good weather this week so we can do some of those things we were supposed to do over the summer holidays and couldn't because of the rain. Sickness and tiredness permitting of course

Hope you get your house sorted soon wilsonmummy, sounds like a very big job!

flynn1984 · 27/10/2008 09:43

Morning all

Welcome to all the new BFP's!!!

Well had a great weekend cos the sickness had died down...but it has came back with a vengence this morning I feel like i'm on a boat and constantly want to be sick but I've not been able to eat all morning!
Hopefully this will die down

Hope everyone else is well!

daisy5 · 27/10/2008 09:59

flynn - Ouch - poor you. Just in case you haven't come across this one, some people keep a cracker beside their bed and have a nibble on it first thing when they wake up and it has a calming effect on their tummy. It sometimes works for me during the daytime - I keep some breadsticks in my handbag. I can't wait for this to pass - Saturday was hideous - although Sunday quite good. Roll on 13 weeks

Tee2072 · 27/10/2008 10:03

Sorry to hear that flynn. I would second Daisy's suggestion to eat something as soon as you wake up!

I'm actually feeling pretty good today! Very little sickness!

I hope I didn't just jinx myself!!!

Diege · 27/10/2008 10:09

Morning . Know what you mean BIGCAR about early starts. The irony of my lot actually being up at 6.45 today when it's half term .
FLYNN, hold on in there. Sickness bad here too - I make sure I take up a couple of biscuits to nibble on when I wake, then dh brings up porridge. It goes against my instcints to eat anything at all, and while I don't feel better manage not to actually be sick. It's really crap I know, but it does pass - that's what I'm clinging to this time.
Off to HSM 3 this afternoon . Hoping I can keep going - not worth my life to back out now...

Diege · 27/10/2008 10:11

Sorry WILSON was confusing you with HEEBEEJEEBEES on other thread re: due date

Jools1 · 27/10/2008 11:51

I'm having a starving hungry day today, and think I am getting my first proper craving - for crisps !!

Haven't seen any real nausea for a week - still not convinced there is anything there, especially as I lost 4 pounds last week and have stayed static this week

summerbird · 27/10/2008 12:07

Ello there, have been away for the weekend and have just read through 6 pages of catch up!

Someone was saying they arent getting much in the way of symptoms other than a small mixture of all of them - i am getting that too, havent felt too bad sicky wise since friday but my boobies are humungous!!!

dawn i knew you would like the halloweenies

have a good day everyone

Heard a bizare one for MS, cucamber soaked in water..Have to dash DD vrecking the place..

yoshimi · 27/10/2008 13:14

Hello there
just a quick post from work as we haven't sorted out our internet at home yet.
Sorry I haven't managed to catch up properly- welcome to all the new BFPs!
Our house move went well, I spent most of the time on toddler duty as it was impossible to get anything done with DS around. Full blown morning sickness has finally kicked in so I'm feeling pretty grotty- not the only one I see!

bigcar · 27/10/2008 13:33

Diege, HSM3, what a fun afternoon Having said that dd2 went with some friends to see it on friday and absolutley loved it. If it's not your thing, it may be a good opportunity to catch up on some sleep

Jools1 · 27/10/2008 13:54

I'm beginning to think I may give up on work and go home in a minute Not PG related, but I have pulled something in my neck and can't turn my head to the right without intense pain. It seems to be getting worse, so sitting at a computer is starting to hurt I really miss Ibuprofen - it was a miracle painkiller for me - paracetamol does nothing so I haven't even tried it

LittleSarah · 27/10/2008 14:25

Oh dear, poor you jools1! Go home and rest!

Yoshimi - it is my turn to move house come Saturday, argh, can't wait til it is over and done with!

Tee - I also have a scan on the 4th! Although I will be 9 weeks.

I am still getting bad nausea. Comes and goes but comes far too often. Extreme tiredness too. Getting loads of sleep, it's so strange.

Went to a wedding on Saturday and felt soberer and soberer as everyone else got drunker! Still, had a wee boogie. My dh's boss congratulated me on the pregnancy and then asked, 'are you pleased?' Odd question no? But then apparently she hated being pregnant so perhaps that is what she meant.

I am hating it now, paranoid, sick and tired. Fun! Also, really struggling with motivation for uni and it's fourth year so really need to get it together.

Apart from that, happy as larry!

Bring on next Tuesday.

WELCOME all!

summerbird · 27/10/2008 14:50

poor you jools i hate it when that happens to me.

littlesarah my scan is a week after you, i cant wait to get to it just to put my mind at rest.

i find sipping on cold milk eases the nausea for some reason

Hi everyone, I'm going to be brave & join the thread. I had a scan this morning (9 weeks, I had one at 7 weeks too) and baby is in there nice heart beat, nice size. Next scan will be on 20th of November which seems like a life time away.
