Brand new BFP's - anyone due a June 2009 baby?

summerbird · 27/09/2008 15:37

Hi there

Did the test last night even though DH wanted me to wait a few days. I wanted to just do it to see if i could have a glass of wine or not and hoo-bloody-rah after 6 months of TTC number one i got a BFP on the free ClearBlue digital test!

So need to get a GP appointment but reckon i am due on 5 June 2009.

Anyone want to join me?

Hi ladies
would like to add myself........to make me feel more pg as having brown discharge today and feeling very nervous! This is my fourth pregnancy and i've never had that symptom before. Nice to see some of the ttc peeps over here, and the fourth time rounders like Diege. Fingers crossed for June babies

Hello Irishmama Hope all goes well for you and bump number 4. xx

TeenyTinyTorya · 25/10/2008 23:37

I'm adding myself in too, been to see the doctor, and 5+1 today. I'm due on the 27th June. Still early days obviously, so the nerves are kicking in!

Tee2072 · 26/10/2008 05:48

Good morning all and welcome new people!

Did everyone remember to set their clocks back?

Once again I slept like total crap.

Have a nice sunday!

BobsWendy · 26/10/2008 06:51

morning
slept like total crap too. Have not have a good nights sleep in ages. No fair

Diege · 26/10/2008 10:28

Morning Sorry for crap nights - at least first timers can have a lie-in - dds are not familiar with concept of clocks going back sadly, though not too bad at 'new' 6.45.
Sickness is pretty crap. Still not actually been sick - am determined not to be as last time that happended it turned to HG and a hossy job . My preggy pops arrived Friday, and they do take the edge off, so sucking one of them from time to time. At 6 quid for glucose sweets though am limiting myself to 2 a day
Good to see other 4th timers here - you'd think we'd know better by now eh . Will be interesting to hear how you cope with the comments

woollyjo · 26/10/2008 15:26

Hi Ladies,

Could I loiter here until a July thread gets going please BFP this morning EDD 1st July.

2 mcs this year already (dd 22months) so trying not to get too excited but need to believe it is going to be ok.

Clearly we won't be telling anyone until we know for certain this one is a goer so it would be great to join in here.

Diege · 26/10/2008 16:00

Hi Woolly . Many congrat! There is a due in Juy thread I think, but feel free to stay here/straddle across both! I had a mmc in July so know what you mean about needing to believe things are OK before shouting it from the rooftops. Here's to an uneventful 9 months!

Tee2072 · 26/10/2008 16:00

Hi woolly of course you are welcome here!!

Sorry to hear about your MCs. I hope third time is the charm for you!!

And congrats on the BFP!!

ChloeandAlfie · 26/10/2008 17:13

DD woke at 5am this morning.... even though the rest of the world loves the extra hour, babies just don't 'get it'!!

I'm sleeping like crap too. Up all night weeing and then can't get back to sleep... grr.... at least it's half term this week so hubby's off and can do his fair share of the early starts!!

Hi woollyjo hope all goes well for you this time. Fingers crossed...

P.S. loving the Halloween smilies

ChloeandAlfie · 26/10/2008 17:35

God..... I haven't got a DD, I have a DS.... lack of sleep and all that....

llynnnn · 26/10/2008 19:10

hi all

another early riser here, dd up at 5.30 this morning stupid daylight saving!!! i hate the mornings too as i know that i will feel sick until i've managed to eat dinner!! so getting up sooooo early makes it a very long sicky time!!

been to a colleagues baby shower today where no one knew i was pregnant! all that was talked about all afternoon was who would be the next to be pregnant!! i sat in the corner and kept my mouth firmly shut!! still not ready for the wrath of work people knowing, its not going to go down well!!

hi to the newcomers and congrats on your bfp's

Jools1 · 26/10/2008 19:19

Evening all

Being child-less at the mo, I had a lovely lie-in, which was needed as I'd been wide awake from 1am to 4am ...

I hit the gym this morning and my best friend came over for the afternoon and we went for a long walk in the park and then waffles with maple syrup - yummy

Feel ready to fall into bed now - must be all that fresh air !

I've just been idly looking at the prices of nursery furniture on Ebay - looks like there are serious bargains to be had It seems like loads of people list cots for peanuts, hoping someone local will pick them up - am now hoping a rich family near me will be having a clearout in the Spring Well worth keeping an eye out - huge savings - sometimes people sell their entire nursery in one listing so you can get everything matching.

Tee2072 · 26/10/2008 19:25

Hey jools, thanks for the tip about Ebay, I will have to check it out when it gets a bit closer!

I've been having these weird sort of periody cramps most of the day, but all the books say that's okay if there's no blood, so I am trying to not worry!

wilsonmummy · 26/10/2008 19:57

Hey all, can i join!

i'm 28 with 2dd 3 & 2 years and expecting dc3 in june sometime!! Maybe a boy this time!?

Just found out a few days ago so still sinking in at the moment didn't expect it to happen so quickly, but saying that i was on the pill for 8 years and got caught 2 mths after coming of it first time around!!

Not got any major symptoms yet, just a bit queasy ocassionally but unfortunatly suffering with belching!! Everything and i mean everything repeating on me!!

Jools1 · 26/10/2008 20:03

Welcome Wilsonmummy and congratulations

Feel free to add yourself to the list - there is one just a bit further down this page you can copy

You are making me feel old - I'm ten years older than you and expecting my first !!!

Tee2072 · 26/10/2008 20:07

Jools I feel old also, I'm 11 years older and expecting my first also!

Welcome wilsonmummy!!!

Jools1 · 26/10/2008 20:22

LittleMermaid-which date is your DS-s birthday? My DD was 27th September.

ChloeandAlfie · 27/10/2008 06:34

Another 4am wake-up this morning.... it sucks . I've put on such a lot of weight already, I'm going to have to seriously cut out the Maltesers and the chocolate cake. Not willing to put on the hefty 4 stone as I did last time.... . Hello to all newcomers, hope all goes well for you.

8 + 3 today. Roll on 12 week scan.....

Tee2072 · 27/10/2008 07:42

Good morning all.

Woke up at 3friggin'AM this morning needing to pee. Did that and then settle myself in our spare room to try and get back to sleep. Dozed a bit, but man am I tired and now I am off to work.

CoteDAzur · 27/10/2008 08:38
