Alllo, Gals. i've returned from the pre-op appointment. all the feelings and emotions are coming
back as to what i went thru with ds. nothing traumatic at all, just nerves running amuck more than anything.
had to sign a consent form with about 6-7 "In the event of...'s" on it. just cautionary to save themselves of course,
things like: accidental laceration to the baby's head, my organs/bowels, need for blood transfusion,
what i want them to do should the surgeon see something serious going on inside me while he's got me open (like tumour,
cysts, etc...loads of things really.
it may seem a bit daunting, but its just part of the process. then the aneastethisistisititis (sp, hehehe)
came in to have a word and remind me what to expect. he couldnt have been older than 25-26. he was very nice, and after poking around
my spine on the bare of my back, he said: "right, well as you are aware you can tend to put on weight while pregnant so it may
take a little time for some to make sure they have the correct position for the block..."
it make me giggle a wee bit that he was ever so careful with his wording on the weight gain issue. hehehe
but i'm ok now that im home...nerves have calmed.DH has demanded that i NOT do any housework today, just take care of myself
and ds til he gets home.

if i had a swimming pool super close by, i'd be there very very often!
