Hello all

I've not been around for a while 'cause I've been busy with my dear son
He was born on Wed 27th Aug after a very straightforward birth. I didn't get the water birth that I wanted as the pool was in use but I was def active which helped loads.
My labour lasted just under 8 hours, I used a TENS machine then moved on to gas & air when the pain really kicked in.
I gave birth in hospital at 6.45 and was back home by about 11.
What a very strange experience labour is
My gorgeous little boy weighed 8lbs and is still nameless.
Having serious problems with BF so I'm having to express my milk which still isn't in full flow but we're managing to keep going. Think I need to have a chat on the feeding boards.
Congratulations to all that have their LOs and very best wishes to all still waiting.

VG, Reese and I are hanging in there...learning each other's ropes. She seems content unlike DD1 who was ready to trade me in by week two. I get scared at times as she's a little too easy (again that's just my paranoid self showing her colors). Just wish I could get a few nights of good sleep in a row...I hate feeling silly-sleepless all day long. It's the lack of sleep that causes random tears for me so don't feel like you're alone.

Morning all, started off well this morning...
However I have just thrown dd fg high chair out of the fg patio door and on to the garden

Can not deal with another meal time of screaming because she wont let me fasten her in she wants to do it herself. Fine, but she cant bless her so gets extremely frustrated trying.

Had this 3 times a day for a week and I have had enough. So god knows what dh will think when he sees it on the garden.

Having said that it was given to me by sister so is a few years old and think dh wants to replace it anyway.

Sorry RANT OVER and BREATHE.............

Oh and my bloody norks aree like lumpy boulders, as Marcus will only feed for 10 min at a time and they are not getting emptied. Trying to do the advice of making sure he empty one side completely before moving on to other side but as he doesnt feed for long feel like ai am just using same side for ages so having to express off the other to release the pain.

Am I doing it all wrong.

Woohoo, just performed first schoolrun successfully! Chatted to friend who said that forceps bruise you inside for ages so that explains my discomfort in sex, hurray.

Busy day today, off to meet Public BF Group at playzone, then to childminder friend to finalise DS's Wednesday afternoon visits then pg ex-colleague coming to play at teatime to practise with Kurt!

No1, I give each boob a 3hr time limit, all feeds within that time are from one boob only. Can get a bit lost at night sometimes and wake up with one solid boob but it's generally worked so far.

no1 when you thhrew the highchair into the garden, was the patio door open? could you get a different harness for it ie one that your daughter can do up?
as for your norks, i can lend you Theo, he'll drink and drink and drink and soon have you emptied

I have 2 cold sores this morning, yippee.

Re. sex I found it fine, surprisingly, but felt internal skin very thin or something. Fine but not 100 pc comfortable. That was at 3 weeks. Hard to explain.

No1 I expressed my painful side too but someone (on here??) told me not to, that it was short term relief, that if I did I'd keep filling up, that body had to learn to regulate according to what the baby wants. I did get into bath and massage lumpy bits though.
