Oh when I say i hpe it'll improve once babys out - I mean I know I'll be woken up etc, but thatimplies that I'll be able to get to sleep in the first place right? That's got to be better than not getting to sleep at all, surely?

Nothing to report here...scrubbing the bathroom floor seems to have got me nothing but a cleaner floor, so have spent the afternoon watching Buffy DVDs and eating chocolate. It could be worse Planning to try and have a nice snuggly evening in with DP tonight, he's having work thoughts and feeling a bit fed up.

VG - it's great to hear that you are home and Edward sounds just lovely. The razor blades bit is excruciating but as all those doves are heading my way, I'm sure I'll miss out on the post-natal pain too!

Hope Expectant is ok ... And Albs, I hope things feel a little better. The ear infection is a cruel joke at a time like this isn't it.

I'll pass around some fab ginger cake I made with DD's help this morning if anyone would like to share.

I've been baking like a madwoman all afternoon. I wonder if that constitutes nesting? Made chocolate gingernuts but biscuits have never been my strong point, they always come out looking like a 2 year old made 'em.

The fabness of the ginger cake is down to Tana Ramsay by the way ... I sounded a bit boastful there.

There are also multiple chillis, chicken stews, and chickpea curries on hand for anyone who wants to stock their freezer from today's efforts. Sitting still only makes me nervous at this stage.

I'm sedning it out huge labour vibes for everyone in or close to the waiting room. Any more signs that we may get an 08/08/08 one yet?

Congrats on getting home with Edward VG. It's a beautiful name I hope your settling in okay.
Our house is looking like a florist & I'm being totally spoilt at the mo. Mum came round today to watch Emmeline whilst I went and had a nap - she's doing the comical sleep all day and stay awake all night thing at the mo . Ah well, she's only 51 hours old....

Right, I need feeding.

Wow - I leave town for five minutes and you're all at it (well, nearly!). Congratulations to all of you have managed to go from bump to babe, those in the process, and yes, lots of positive contraction vibes to those who are being 'teased' by their little ones.

A big thank you for those who have gone before - you are giving me and dh lots more options for names.

Mrs Magoo - sorry that it got there for you but did lol about the sunroof analogy. That's where I'm headed next week and my family have spent all day saying "well, this time next week", etc - I'm halfway between nervous breakdown and complete excitement!!

Right, the closeness of d-day has focussed me somewhat. Given that I'm likely to look even more washed out than normal in the next week or so, I've been giving thought to an eyelash tint.

Okay? Safe? Or not on your life and I shouldn't touch it with a barge pole?

Sausageandmash I had mine done once as a trial before I got married. Was noticable and natural looking, but wasnt pregnant at the time, so sorry no help there.

Any news from anyone do we think we may have any babies today?

Should be enjoying these last few weeks seeing as this is my last pregnancy. I expect I will miss the kicks and thumps....but I really want myself back now iykwim. What do you think - is this your last one sazzles ?

Yes well mils and their theories. Mine said last Winter, 'well next year things will be much easier with no more nappies' Little did she know that we were actively ttc at the time She has also said in the past that 'people who have more than two children are selfish' I never had any intention of sticking with two!

I must admit the parasite analogy kicks in more for me when bf constantly - I'm bracing myself for the early days. Better go before I put off any first timers who haven't popped yet hadn't I
