God, I love greggs sausage rolls. I like to feed them to ds and make sure all the crumbs stay in his Maclaren Volvo.
Only buy fruit shoots when out.
Love breaking MN rules.

Tinkerisdead · 17/07/2008 16:54

LOL at Oblomov do you too wear crocs?

Oblomov · 17/07/2008 16:55

Oh no.
I don't lower myself to that level, you know.

Oblomov · 17/07/2008 16:55

I have some STANDARDS

LackaDAISYcal · 17/07/2008 16:57

Tegan, cranberry juice is good for flushing out a UTI. Send DH out for some cartons of Ocean Spray for you and rest up, with chocolate . I had a UTI when I was about 10ish weeks. I was in so much pain with it that I thought I was losing another one

Hope you feel better soon.

DW, I have had one or two rather fruity dreams as well, thankfully all involving DH so far, and have woken up all a fluster. With DD though they were so rude that I still at the thought.

i love greggs apple danish thingys. very nice in the morning when i;ve skipped breakfast.

oh i migth get onwe ion tuesday on my way into london for scan. tea and danish, hmmmmm.

and then will stop for a cornish pasty at kings x.

god i'm such a bloater when i'm not puking lol.

LackaDAISYcal · 17/07/2008 17:00

where is the line drawn though with what is and isn't allowed? DD had a mozarella and tomato croissant from Pret a Manger when we were in town the other week...it's still lard, just poncey lard; and the crumbs it left in the buggy looked to all intents and purposes like sausage roll crumbs.

laughing at oblomov standards. Okay so you eat Billy Bear Ham though yeah? thats okay surely!!

lackadaisy glad someone else is having odd dreams. i read in my pregnancy week by week book that you get more "sensitive" etc. but honestly, when i had ahem multiple.. it was bordering painful. I'll stick to chocolate hobnobs and a cup of tea in the evening i think!!

And can i ask another thing on the sex side of things, now my baby is kicking and moving it seems to go mental during the "act" [blush} and rather than move away it lodges deep in my pelvis. very off putting and makes me feel guilty. I cant decide if the baby is telling me to stop it! Mad movement from baby coupled with my new sensations...well i took a while to recouperate!!

Oblomov · 17/07/2008 17:07

Now steady on DrsWife - you are starting to be rite insulting !
Billy bear ham. God no. No prepacked ham for me. only cut from the deli.
But hang on a sec, let me go and check my fridge/freezer/cupboards - I suspect I have numerous things not allowed on Mn food treads.
God I love making curry, chilli, lasagne.
But I also loved tinned curry aswell. So thats me scuppered.

Oblomov · 17/07/2008 17:09

Are we going to be the an thread, that has early births, becasue of all the sex and curry ?

Tinkerisdead · 17/07/2008 17:10

LOL sorry, i love Mn for stuff like this. when i was craving strawberry ribena i couldnt get any, my Dh suggested a strawberry fruit shoot and i just looked in distain! i realised i spend too long on MN if i was moulded and im yet to have a child!!

Heartmum2Jamie · 17/07/2008 17:11

Phew! I guess I am a real mumsnetter then, we don't do greggs (or food in pushchairs in general if I can help it), I don't wear crocs and the boys almost never get fruit shoots! If I take them to McDonalds (is a godsend for anyone who's kids have food allergies), they get fruit bags and water. I am a mean mummy!

As for my MIL, yes, she was very insensitive that day, but I know it wasn't exactly intentional. I wouldn't mind so much, but the name she hated so much.....Zach/Zack. Her suggestion? Martin. I kid you not! We are toying with Zack (dh prefers this spelling as doesn't want people to think it is short for Zachery, which he doesn't like) and a more traditional middle name like Thomas or William.

I am envious of you lots who are still doing the act. I think the idea horrifies my dh but I have to admit to actually really wanting to right now. Strange as I didn't with the other 2. I somehow feel more sexy this time. No idea where this has come from. Check out the size of me in my profile, new belly pic is at the bottom (and lots of new pics of my gorgeous ds's!). I know that baby weighs over 2 lb already

LackaDAISYcal · 17/07/2008 17:12

read it and drool

I have been obsessing about fruity vesta chicken curry since reading that thread yesterday.

Please could someone explain the crocs thing to me I am cofused????

Heartmum2Jamie · 17/07/2008 17:16

I am gutted. My best friend went to Brum twice this week and I forgot to ask her to get me a box of Lucky Charms from selfridges. I grew up in Canada and haven't had lucky charms for nearly 15 years and really, really fancied some last week. Not sure if it would be worth £7 a box though . I have to admit to living on white toast smothered in butter and caesar salad right now. Actually, might have salad and new potatoes from the garden for tea tonight and cover it all with caesar dressing!

Oblomov · 17/07/2008 17:18

I am sure outside of Mn no one gives two hoots whether you:
wear crocs
eat greggs
fruit shoot
eat grapes whilst shopping
anything else for that matter.
it is only us that care .
You are right. I have been here too long.

Tinkerisdead · 17/07/2008 17:18

PMSL at the confessions on here today regarding food. I do wonder if I'm gonna turn all organic earth mother when my DC comes along. My Evil SIL makes a point of giving her baby organix crisps and a fruit shoot. im dying to say something about MN but then she would find me here, telling you all about her mad ways. i found out she takes a photo of herself to the hairdresser when getting her hair done!! Now is that not odd?

LackaDAISYcal · 17/07/2008 17:20

heartmum, your DSs are gorgeous

and your bump is most impressive. I need to get a new one of mine on, but not a bare one, it's too hideous for words. My lovely C-section overhang is still there and I have this horribly little pointy dangly bit at the bottom of my bump. I need a tummy lift, lol!

OP posts:
misdee · 17/07/2008 17:22

hmmmmmmmmm tonight i'm having steak and chips.

mmmmmmmmmmm

Tinkerisdead · 17/07/2008 17:22

PMSL at eating grapes whilst shopping, thats another thing my SIL said to me... when your DC comes you will give it food in supermarket before paying to stop it crying etc. i thought not if you were a MNetter you wouldnt.

Bubbaz wearing crocs or indeed any plastic shoes is routinely frowned upon on MN. I was shocked that misdee a regular "outed" herself so openly. It is also an offence to offer your child a fruit shoot etc.

Heartmum2Jamie · 17/07/2008 17:23

Thanks Daisy! I think my boys are gorgeous too, but I think they are fed up of me pointing my new camera at them, lol! I also meant to add a warning that it is a bare belly shot. I tried my best to smooth some of the stretchmarks out. I too still have a little overhang/squidgy bit at the bottom of my belly, but used the band on my trousers to tuck it in, lol! I was horrified to see how much I grew between 24 & 25 weeks though. I know baby is measuring larger than average but still!!! It's no wonder people think I am having 2.

Tinkerisdead · 17/07/2008 17:24

heartmum fab photos. Your boys are gorgeous. i still cant upload any of mine at all. that may be a good thing looking at my tummy mind you.

misdee · 17/07/2008 17:25

lol thedoctorswife.

trouble is at harefield all they stocked juice wise was fruitshoot,. and they often ran out of bottled water. so the kids got that or cocacola. hehehe.

and crocs are sooooo comfty. even if i look like i have clown feet.

Heartmum2Jamie · 17/07/2008 17:26

Mmmmm Misdee, steak & chips sounds really good. Damn the fact that I have no steak and then the fact that I eat about 10 mouthfuls before I am stuffed. Grrrr!

bubbaz · 17/07/2008 17:29

HM2J your bump looks lovely and neat! Lacka I am with you with the CS overhang look at the bottom I'm almost wishing a growth spurt to fill it he he.
Oh dear I fear I am a bad mother. I wear crocs and DS gets fruit shoots very occasionally (don't tell anyone though) I love my crocs!
