I've changed my mind. They should be removed. A bit like active convo's. You are only on the thread if you are posting/participating. Plus they are welcome to come back, at any time.

I think we should agree on this, either way though.
Consensus required.

Dozymare · 01/08/2008 12:32

valid point obs......why don't we give them a chance to drop by though....

Oblomov · 01/08/2008 12:36

Agreed. I wasn't suggesting removing them NOW.

coolkat · 01/08/2008 12:59

Why don't we start a new list for those that want to add that little bit more info, post after the birth etc? Then no ones being 'deleted'. . . [waits for dumb blonde comment]

I know I do not post as much as some but I enjoy following and find alot of stuff informative, even knowng about Dozy's sucky!!

Dozymare · 01/08/2008 13:09

AutumnLady · 01/08/2008 13:50

Hi all

Dozymare · 01/08/2008 14:37

Autumnlady I was asking had anyone seen you but thought you might have been away.......

Hope your DH isn't being to bda - I found that 1st PG my DH went a bit mental and he later admitted it was because he was worrying about being a dad!

Just been to the MW - I am measuring 27cm which is apparantly bigger than normal - an anyone elaborate????? What is "normal" and i going to have another heffalump? (DS1 was 10.05lbs........DS 2 was "only" 8lb 14oz)

Also, can anyone explain the blood pressure measurements to me in laymans terms....i never get it!

DM xx

ChocOrange05 · 01/08/2008 14:44

DM how did they measure you?? Was it just a MW appt or a scan? I haven't been "measured". At my last MW appt she just felt my tummy and said everything seemed normal!

Hi Dozy

I think he's scared at becoming a dad but that doesn't excuse him being a pain! I am still doing everything from emptying the bin, washing machine, shopping, dishwasher, ironing etc etc and he does nothing!!

Sorry to rant and I'm sure there are people here with small children and a bump who are doing everything too but I just feel a bit hard done by!

think I may call it a day at work soon so that I miss the rush hour on the tube. we've had a major security alert already today and evacuated the building so I feel it's as much excitement as I can take!

xx

hanaflower - looked in my notes - and page 14 (ie the growth chart is missing) and has never been there as I don't remember seeing it..........typical!!

ChocOrange05 · 01/08/2008 15:34

Hana I haven't been weighed at all either - I feel very cheated with all this lack of measurements!

Oblomov · 01/08/2008 15:44

Hello Autumnlady. No time no see.
Hana, there is a chart in our notes, with centiles on it ?

Oblomov · 01/08/2008 15:53

I don't know what notes you ladies have, but I don't think I have the same.
My AN notes consist of only about 10 pages.
1)tel numbers to contact midwifes
2)dates of MW meetings, where they literally note the dates.
3) 3 page computer print out of dh's contact details, blood tests results, from booking appt, I think.
4)Antenatal appts. Stupid form, saying "nice to meet Oblomov today, she is fine"
5)Feeding checklist, will I bf/formula.
6)Another 3 page computer print out of blood tests.

That it is.

Oblomov · 01/08/2008 15:55

So, no page14, growth chart, for me !!

ChocOrange05 · 01/08/2008 15:58

Are we all talking about the Green pregnancy book that you have to take along to appointments?

tostaky · 01/08/2008 16:01

A green book? Mine is yellow... i guess it differs for each district/region/hospital...
