MerryMarigold · 06/07/2008 21:27

sorry lacka just saw dozy's comment on top of page and HAD to post before read them all. Glad you were behind roger (oo-er) too...dh was supporting raff, but sweetly had a little cry for me. I did not cry.

ceebee74 · 06/07/2008 21:27

Bubbaz - am . It is one thing to think such things but to tell someone and ask for their help is just horrendous behaviour!! You flaunt yourself - stick your bump out loud and proud!

Merry - he he he!! I am so pleased! Me and you must be thinking along the same lines but DH has vetoed Rafa as a name

ceebee74 · 06/07/2008 21:30

Bubbaz - think I should clarify my last post - obviously it is not ok to even think these things but I hope you know what I meant.

MerryMarigold · 06/07/2008 21:33

ceebee, actually like Rafael as a name or with a 'ph' in the middle if you prefer. But doesn't go with our surname at all. I used to know a little boy called Michelangelo! (Miki for short). He was Italian though!

ceebee74 · 06/07/2008 21:37

Merry - lol, the only image I get now of those 2 names are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

MerryMarigold · 06/07/2008 21:41

Ah, but what were the others ceebee? maybe some name ideas in there! we still don't have one we love. one was a donatelli i think.

sparkletoes · 06/07/2008 21:42

Woah what a match!

Ok first, Ceebee DS still has a load of milk at night and in mornings but none in daytime. Not sure why it has carried on just habit I think.. but while he wants it he can still have it. Prefer it when he eats a bit more dinner and takes less milk tho.

Bubbaz WTF!!! I would proudly flaunt past the silly moo with a knowing smirk on my face. How dare she! I do despair at the behaviour of some women...

merry, I was on Rog's side over there

but to be fair, he has had a good old crack at it, so time to step down for the yoof. It was a well deserved win and would've been whoever won in the end. they're gonna have to rush to make it to the Champion's dinner tonight though!

lackaDAISYcal · 06/07/2008 21:45

last turtle was leonardo....we kind of like leo...well I do anyway

sparkletoes · 06/07/2008 21:49

Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael...

Good luck for scan Misdee. Bubbaz, I am truely shocked at the cheek of this awful woman.
Wasn't the tennis good.
Daisy - it was ME who suugested clothes swapping- sorry I had to get my claim to fame in there.
Lolabella, sorry I can't help with swimming costumes, but I totally sympathise with boobs - mine are getting bigger and bigger, I must get to Bravissimo for a new fitting, am jumping out of my 32E. Not good.
Sparkle, I am at a loss with slings. I have read all reviews and looked at many many old threads and am completely bamboozled as to what I need. Is it Hana, who is going to sling fair. I am going to my mum-in-laws for the weekend next weekend, else I would go aswell. I hope Hana can save me.

Oblomov · 06/07/2008 22:24

Yes Bubbaz, as Daisy asked, what does your dh think of her cunning (aka ultimate bitchplan) plan, then ?

lackaDAISYcal · 06/07/2008 22:24

I realised that after I posted oblomov....sorreeeee

Oblomov · 06/07/2008 22:26

forgiven
Just this once mind

Dozymare · 07/07/2008 07:25

morning all - epic tennis final..couldn't post afterwards as just had to go and lie down to get the blood pressure down!!!!!!!!!!! i repsect Nadal as a player but the way he keeps picking his shorts out of his arse is very very off putting!

Missdee good luck for today - anyone else??? Are you finding out the sex????

Bubbaz am utterly shocked and even though you and DH are totally secure this must be horrible to hear - i know I would be very upset in your position, especially with all those pregnancy hormones flying aorund! I assume she knows oyu are married and pregnant

Absolutely, definately parade your bump - even get a t-shirt just for her benefit that says "pregnant, married and in love" on the front and "so back off bitch" on the back!!!!

It's very overcast here today - no doubt by the time my 1st load of washing is finished i will be hanging it on radiators rather than in the fresh air....BTW how do you ladies dry your clothes in bad weather - I absolutely hate it on the indoor contraption thingy and even more so on radiators....I am loathe to use the dryer as well....

Have a fab day!

bubbaz · 07/07/2008 08:00

Morning, Yes DH does know about the cunning not so secret plan and finds it hilarious, she tried to split us up at the start too and it didn't work then my SIL wants to beat her senseless!
Dozy LOL at T-shirt suggestion - am off to the printers now.............
Its a good job we are not all due anytime soon or we might have had some Wibledon final induced babies last night with all the excitement
Hope everyone is well - Good Luck Misdee x

Oblomov · 07/07/2008 08:29

Did Misdee say whether Peter wanted to know the flavour ?
Can't remember. We will have to wait until her return.

ChocOrange05 · 07/07/2008 08:53

Morning all - I didn't get a chance to check up on you all at the weekend so I am finding it hard to catch up. Sorry if I missed anyones important comments:

Bubbaz I agree with the smug pregnant and happily married approach - ignore the silly woman and her ridiculous fantasies!

Dozy / Merry and the other Roger fans (Federer not name choice) I was behind Rafa - it was time for someone else to win. And what a body , although has anyone else noticed that he seems to have a permanent wedgy??

DH and I went pram shopping at the weekend and I am still thoroughly overwhelmed - why are there so many?!?! I think we have decided on the Quinny Buzz now although DH did threaten divorce if I didn't manage to pick one this weekend.

Have a good day all - is there anyone still waiting for their 20 week scan??

My bump is moving a lot this morning.

ceebee74 · 07/07/2008 09:10

Oblomov - am fairly sure Misdee said one of them wanted to know and the other didn't but they had decided to find out - but I may be wrong!!

Chocorange - I think there are a few of us this week with our scans and that should be about it I think - mine is now just 4 'sleeps' away!!

Bubbaz - love the idea of that t-shirt. Glad your DH is not impressed - what a silly bitch she is (and very immature if you ask me)!! Am on your behalf about the whole thing.

Sparkle - I have one of those non-eating children too - amazing how little the lad can actually exist on some days

Right, off to visit my friend this morning who had an op last week and then into town to get some stuff for DS's 'big birthday' weekend this weekend

x

MerryMarigold · 07/07/2008 10:11

IF ANYONE IS IN A RUSH THEY CAN SKIP THIS POST, IT IS MOSTLY BORING! AND TOO LONG BUT CAN'T BE BOTHERED TO EDIT.

So glad to hear other people's kids don't eat! Ds doesn't eat if he is slightly unsettled (eg. out of our house, visiting grandparents, on holiday), slightly ill (bit of a cold, teething). He has gone for several weeks just eating a couple of snacks a day...and he is pretty skinny (you can see his ribs through his back, Kate Moss would be so proud). He's on hunger strike now we are back from holiday and he is settling down, but was pleased this morning that he actually requested an egg for breakfast!!! (After only eating a small bowl of muesli/ yoghurt for the entire day yesterday!). It can be quite distressing when he's not eaten even one meal in a day, so as long as he has breaskfast I tell myself to be grateful and just serve up his 'favourite meal' over and over again until he eats it. I am such a 'foodie', but also totally unfussy about what I eat, I pretty much love all food, so I can't understand how someone can't LOVE FOOD!

I have my 20 week scan on Wednesday. Now I know the sexes it leaves me totally free to worry about the anomalies! Oh dear...hoping all is well. Someone is kicking quite vigorously, but it's hard knowing if it's both or just one.

Hee hee. My mum and sister noticed Raf's 'wedgie' (not heard that expression since school, but think I may start using it again!). Yeah, he has a great bod, but so do most tennis players (bar Andy Murray), they just don't feel the need to flaunt it with tight shorts and un-necessarily cut off T-shirts (which look like the type 15 year old bodybuilders like to wear). He is such a TART! Found out my whole family (Mum, Dad, Sister) were supporting wedgie boy, and we have already rowed over it!!!! Poor Federer, just wanted him to win one more time to get the record from Borg - Nadal has plenty, plenty of time to win Wimbie. Ok, rant over! I will get closure in the next month or so!

Choc, had to LOL over the pushchair divorce. I only managed to drag dh out once pram shopping with our first baby. This time I have more idea what I want, so will only drag him out to actually buy it and put it in our car! Can't wait till 28 weeks pregnant, then I'm gonna go and get it and pray hard that it fits through our doorway.

Dozy - I wasnt optimistic enough to put a wash on, even though there is loads of it, including dreaded duvet covers and towels (I don't wash them that often which does help too - filthy me!). I usually pile it up till a nice (ish) day and then try and do several loads. I am fanatical about checking the weather forecast on metoffice.gov.uk, several times a day, so I know exactly when I can put it out. We don't have a tumble dryer and rads are not on anymore. I am getting a tumble dryer for the twins though!

Have a nice day everyone.

Look forward to misdee's scan result today and others rest of week.

Sorry for long post. Ds at playschool this morning, too much time on my hands, and I don't want to do any housework.

MerryMarigold · 07/07/2008 10:16

I don't serve ds the same meal again and again for all those worried about me giving my child food poisoning!

ChocOrange05 · 07/07/2008 10:29

Merry how can you be upset at Rafa for wearing tight shorts and cut off t-shirts - surely we should be campaigning for this to be standard tennis uniform!?!?!

MerryMarigold · 07/07/2008 10:34

Nah, me I like a bit of mystery...

MerryMarigold · 07/07/2008 10:37

Imagine Andy Murray in tight shorts and cut off Tshirt . On second thoughts, don't want to bring back morning sickness in anyone!

ChocOrange05 · 07/07/2008 10:54

Merry granted - there should be some exceptions. Has anyone else ever felt like shouting at Andy Murray to get himself a t-shirt that actually fits around the collar?!?! I mean, whats all that about, I thought they were supposed to look smart at Wimbledon!?!
