good evening everyone, just a quick hello, was trying to catch up on all of yesterdays and todays posts.
was at the Kylie Minogue concert last night, and that little boy i have in there was wriggling away...think he might be a fan..lol!!

being a 1st timer i am reading with interest all your tips and cot/cotbed chat, also loving all the shopping that is going on!
have added that shoe website to my favourtites lackadaisycal!

right tennis back on, NADAL to win!!!

Dozymare · 06/07/2008 20:28

lacks can't find your shoe thread!! Stomp Stomp....will swop you a lovely blue ralph lauren snowsuit for your girlie pink one though!!!

chocolategal · 06/07/2008 20:31

dozy the website is
www.star-child.co.uk/big.asp?id=374

ceebee74 · 06/07/2008 20:31

Chocolategal - glad I am not alone - seems to be far too many Federer fans on here

Sparkle - how much milk does your DS have in the evening? DS has about 3 sips as I think it is more a habit rather than actually wanting it. He wolfs down a full bottle in the mornings though!!

lackaDAISYcal · 06/07/2008 20:33

We might have to trade pics dozy.....back to your clothes swap idea, which was fab by the way

I'll post a pic of DD in hers...it was 3-6 months I think though; not newborn.

Yorky · 06/07/2008 20:34

Am I the only one not watching the tennis?
My claim to fame is that I was born on the Sunday of the Wimbledon mens final and mum had to wait till everyone had won/lost/stopped watching to get tidied/stitched up!
Think that may be where my respect for sport began and ended!

lackaDAISYcal · 06/07/2008 20:35

or was that oblomov's idea????? sorry obs if it was

dozy, i now live my shoe fetish vicariously through my children

Dozymare · 06/07/2008 20:37

lacks i will have to dig the clothes out of the loft first!!!!!!!!!!!! You can have first peep!! I seriously have a huge amount of designer baby boys clothes......need to get rid of them to make room for some girlieness!!! I went mad with DS1 and bought way way to much of everything (as did both sets of grandparents!) I am sure the same will be for first granddaughter! (Poor DS2 middle child!)

tennis is fab!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

chocolategal · 06/07/2008 20:38

lackadaisycal, my DH is hoping i do the same as he reckons i cant possibly spend as much on baby/toddlers shoes as i do/did on my own!

lackaDAISYcal · 06/07/2008 20:40

I did that with DS, in fact I still do buy more than he can ever wear. the stuff we have sent to the charity shop will be a real bargain for someone.

We'll start keeping it all from now on though

Dozymare · 06/07/2008 20:41

i love a bit of superficial banter about shoes on a sunday night!!!! I am glad it's not all baby chat on here!!!

(although speaking of babies, my LO is going nuts and dancing a jig!!) Must be all this tennis and shoe chat!!!!!!

lackaDAISYcal · 06/07/2008 20:41

he obviously hasn't seen the price of kiddies shoes chocolategal . I soend more on those than I do on mine these days!

ceebee74 · 06/07/2008 20:45

Daisy - that is so true!! The cost of children's shoes plus I don't help matters by insisting DS has a pair of Clarks shoes and at least 2 different colour trainers to match his clothes And don't get me started on coats - he has at least 5 of them (and always has done) - the poor staff at nursery must have to put all the other children's coats on first to see which one is left that must be DS's (I haven't got round to putting labels in them!)

LolaBella · 06/07/2008 20:54

Thanks for all your help guys off to do some virtual shopping. Not going for another six weeks but starting to panic as autumn/winter ranges are starting to appear and bikinis dissappear. But god help me if my boobs keep on growing - nothing will strap them down at the moment

Misdee good luck for your scan tomorrow

bubbaz · 06/07/2008 21:03

Good Luck tomorrow misdee. Any more this week? I have had some very news, My DH ex has just come back from Australia and has decided that she wants him back!! She even asked a mutual friend to help her split us up. I am very confident DH is happy with me and our expanding family but at the silly cow for being such an awful person. Our mutual friend has severed all ties because of her apalling behaviour. Sorry I know its nothing to do with the thread but I am so very at her cheek I just wanted to get it off my chest! Why would someone set out to destroy a family - even if it is never going to happen!!!

chocolategal · 06/07/2008 21:08

blooming hell bubbaz it is just awfull what us women would do to each other!

hopefully she will see how happy your hubby is with his life and buggar off back to australia!!!

lackaDAISYcal · 06/07/2008 21:13

farking hell bubbaz

bubbaz · 06/07/2008 21:15

Am I really awful to be very very pleased that she works at the same hospial that I do albeit not in the same dept and has to suffer seeing me waddling about with my ever increasing bump? Oh and that he actually married me!
DH and I are very happy and she is a cow so not worried at all on that score!

lackaDAISYcal · 06/07/2008 21:19

still bubbaz......she sounds like a right bitch. Does DH know of her cunning plan? what does he think?

chocolategal · 06/07/2008 21:23

no bubbaz that is not awful of you at all!
i would be flaunting myself past her at every available opportunity!!

MerryMarigold · 06/07/2008 21:23

dozy, i am devastated. nuff said. all the people on the wimbledon final thread seem to be 'naff raff' fans.

MerryMarigold · 06/07/2008 21:24
