PMSL is pissing myself laughing, am a little worried that in a few months this phrase may be taken literally

Beans33 · 25/07/2008 16:50

Crowning? Oh LORD!

Beans33 · 25/07/2008 16:52

Oh no, loss of bladder control. I keep forgetting to do my pelvic floors as well.

Veggiemummy · 25/07/2008 16:52

i wore my glasses i'm only a minus 6 but can't see much without and didn't know how long it would take and my eyes get a bit dry if in for too long. will remind DH to take them off me for baby cuddles photos next time. although i looked so exhausted i don't know if it would have made me look much better.

SummerLightning · 25/07/2008 16:52

veggiemummy that really is like something out of a sitcom!

Veggiemummy · 25/07/2008 16:56

maybe i could sell it as a episode story.

i had bad indigestion at lunch and couldn't eat, i have been having peaches all afternoon but now i'm starving, i gotta go raid my fridge.

Purple79 · 25/07/2008 16:58

Am now getting strange glances from colleagues @ work - pmsl

Beans33 · 25/07/2008 16:58

I've eaten 3 mini double choc muffins, 2 large slices of choc cake and 2 thorntons chocs. I'm stuffed. And feeling a little queasy.

SummerLightning · 25/07/2008 17:00

beans you big troffer
I went out for thai for lunch and have now been informed that me and DH and friend are going out for curry! Oh well, eating for two and all that!

Purple79 · 25/07/2008 17:02

haha.. not a good combination after what we've talking about.

Have a good weekend ladies - leaving work now. will try and log on over weekend. take care x

Veggiemummy · 25/07/2008 17:07

is anyone else really clumsy, i have knocked so many things over today or off benches and just now i slammed my finger in one of the freezer draws (there is always so much food stuffed into our freezer we have to slam the draws shut to get them to close), i have no idea how, i must have just forgotten to move it out of the way.

but on a happier note just popped a veggie pie in the oven.

waitinggirl · 25/07/2008 17:08

veggie - priceless. dh is a comedy writer - and it is tempting to tell him about it (don't worry, he wouldn't use it without asking permission first).

LadyT - was it your scan where the little lady was fiddling with her bits? would you really want to immortalise her in a 4D scan showing that? mind you, would be tempting for bribery/blackmail purposes when she gets to be a stroppy teenager bringing her first boyfriend home...

SummerLightning · 25/07/2008 17:09

I seem to have a problem that I get half way through a sentence and forget what I was saying...though husband says I am not doing this more than normal..am dozy at the best of times.
Don't think I am more clumsy though

Veggiemummy · 25/07/2008 17:10

OMG i am not into 4D scans but i would pay to get that on a picture imagine that at it's 21st

Veggiemummy · 25/07/2008 17:12

it makes sense that they do it in utero, DS hasn't let go of them since he was first able to control his hands and arms, i'm sure he would have been having a fiddle most of his waking hours whilst on the inside.

Beans33 · 25/07/2008 17:13

hee hee!

Right, I'm off home - have fun tonight, all of you who are meeting up!

Will miss this site in the next few days as am off to the Wirral for the weekend and a wedding on Monday. Back to my roots!

Have fun and I will be laughing my way up the M40!

x

LadyThompson · 25/07/2008 17:14

Waitinggirl - yes, it was my dear daughter. I did NOT thank my DP for remarking to the sonographer who kept marvelling at it, "Just like Mummy".

rosmerta · 25/07/2008 17:17

Beans have a good trip, say hello to the Wirral for me (have family there!)

veggie lol!

I'm also blind as a bat but I wore my glasses last time as normal though they kept slipping off I was so sweaty. Dh kept having to push them back up.

Veggiemummy · 25/07/2008 17:18

cheeky bugger

EffiePerine · 25/07/2008 17:19

I am always clumsy and def worse than normal

LT: that reminds me that DS was enthusiastically picking his nose at the 20 week scan AND we have photographic evidence

rosmerta · 25/07/2008 17:19

Poor ds is getting so neglected today while I keep up with this thread, don't think I've laughed so much!

EffiePerine · 25/07/2008 17:20

oh tes, wore glasses as well. Am about minus 10 so I didn't have much choice (also decided contacts would not be a good plan).

rosmerta · 25/07/2008 17:21

I'm not clumsy but I do keep putting things in the wrong place. Got ds some grapes for after tea, and he said 'mummy, what's this?'. I looked and I'd put the stalks in the bowl & left the grapes on the board!

Veggiemummy · 25/07/2008 17:22

that was for LT's DP

Veggiemummy · 25/07/2008 17:23

Rosemerta thats hilarious
