I am ALL ABOUT solar and hoping to make my home completely solar in the next 10 years. Kinda hard living with a man who works for the local power company BUT they do offer a program where I can sell them the excess power I generate. Geothermal is also an option for me, just costly. One day when I have enough money to do it I will not be energy dependent any anyone!!!!!!!

dizzydixies · 22/06/2008 23:20

night Sazz - remember am in for that sodding test tomorrow so won't be on in the morning, and I can hear you all sighing with relief

TS you forget, this family never manage to do anything on time nevermind early lol

poppy I hope you've arrived in one piece and are bedded down for the night, will be thinking about you tomorrow {{hugs}}

TwilightSurfer · 22/06/2008 23:23

Dizzy you are my opposite then. Early for everything, unfortunately. Have a good night.

OP posts:
dizzydixies · 22/06/2008 23:25

I used to be completely anal about time keeping, now with this lot I've about given up

miamla · 22/06/2008 23:25

sazzles are you really retiring downstairs to bed? have you got a topsey turvey house? cool!

dizz i hate to say but they're right you know, we do only have a few weeks left!

had a lovely long chat with my trainee midwife friend tonight. told her all about the nightmares i've had (we haven't spoken for a while because i didn't want her to feel like i was just phoning for advice the whole time) AND she might be in London round about the time i'm due! which means she might be my second birth partner. it'd be so cool if she was but her boy wants her to go on holiday to france during her time off college! he's so unreasonable!!

good night one and all

TwilightSurfer · 23/06/2008 00:06

Just popping back in to leave you all this link. It's by a labor and delivery nurse.

Hi All,

Just managed to catch up on what has been happening over the weekend. Hope it's not too hot TS.

For any that are interested here's our weather for the next 5 days www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?world=0089 So a little bit cooler

Went to champagne brunch yesterday with DH, MIL and her bf. Have realised that without being able to drink champagne this has to be one of the most boring days I have had for a very long time. V with DH who went out to play pool with a friend when we got back (more drinking) and left me to entertain the guests. Thankfully they're going home tomorrow. Nice to see them but I could have done without it at this point tbh.

bealcain · 23/06/2008 07:27

good morning all,

feeling psitively positive tody. god knows why, still in loads of pain with S.P.D. and constant P.E.T. headache. Still got consultants appt. on thursday going to see if they'll set my induction date, it;s currently around 25th July but will see if i can bump it forward. Been up since 4:30am with DS2, o how i love toddlers!

TS - how old is dd? she sounds very intelligent, make sure you make her eat the lunch in the fridge, regardless of green bits!!!

Miamla - i have a friend like, but now with hosp. birth dont think it;s goning to be possible, bloody labour suite rooms not big enough 2, let alone 4!!

sarahnh · 23/06/2008 07:51

morning everyone,

update on rash, well its not gone anywhere in fact it is worse than every and appearing in places i don't even want to think about it.. my throat is on fire and the only thing that eases it is ice cold water...

thank you all for all your advice re creams, just sticking to calmine lotion at the mo.. going to call the docs as soon as they open to get an appointmet... i really hope they can give me something and having this for maybe the next 7 weeks does not bear thinking about!!!!

bealcain · 23/06/2008 08:03
