albs, sorry to hear you are having a stressful time, I really hope it works itself out. It is inevitable that however much you have tried to keep normal for dd, she will have picked up on both of your stresses, so hopefully as things calm down a bit the tics will stop.

Sibh, DS rubbing toes - that's a good idea! I have a massage frog (it's feet vibrate) and have been persuading DS2 to hold it on my shoulder etc, but generally lasts about 2 seconds before he gets bored and puts it on his head!

Bless DH, I did an online shop to arrive yesterday and managed to forget about 5 crucial things (including sausages... i had promised the boys for dinner). So he drove over, picked up the essentials and loads of lovely picky bits for us to have for dinner. Bliss.

And we finally had a plasterer who turned up yesterday, and quoted a decent price , so our house might actually be finished before DC3 arrives - YAY

Just had to have a second breakfast after droping dd off. Was feleing sick all round sainsbury's so when I got back I just had to sample the crumpets I'd bought. yum.

In a few mins (dh is just doing morning prayer now) we're off to mothercare world and Ikea. Mothercare is mainly to try carseats seeing as with my silver cross experience our car isn't standard re seatbelt lengths, plus a few other bits (dh hasn't seen my list but he did comment this morning about how things that baby will only use for a few months only need to be basic (ie cheaper) i think he knows me too well . so excited. Ikea is to get cupboards etc (and a poang chair for me to feed at night) for baby's room!!!

Sazzles - sorry for being so secretive . Am 36 and live in Somerset, do get to Bristol (@ 40mins) - maybe we could do the zoo sometime? and very very occasionally Cheltenham (just for work really).

On a completely different note, does anyone know any travel insurance that will cover you up to 34wks? I can only find M&S up to 32 but we are in France wks 33& 34... still going either way, will just have to get some standard stuff otherwise and hope that nothing happens on the baby front.

I have taken the day off as felt I needed to rest - have only had one or two sick days since getting pregnant, and at nearly 30 weeks it's probably time to start slowing down if I feel the need. Well i am back in the land of the living after dd case of chicken poxs.. my dh has already said he doesn't know how he will cope when new dd gets them ...

Getting really bad BH as well and although i have done it before i am starting to think that i am terrified of going into labour and want the baby to just pop out with no pain and a quick push!!!! xxx

I have no chance of catching up but will just keep posing my news.

We have had two cased of Chicken Pox over the last month - DS first then DD2 now - s he has been off school all week and is better now but driving me mad!

Yesterday I booked my elective c/s and sterilisation for 4 August. I went on my own and didn't ask half the questions I wanted to. My mum was supposed to come with me but had to stay at home with the poxed DD2. Never mind I am seeing the midwife in a couple of weeks so will make a list of questions.

On the 08/08/08 this is the luckiest day to give birth in this part of the world as in Chinese culture no 8 is incredibly lucky. Hoping not to have DC early as I'll never get a bed for all the elective c-sections going on

Well when I rolled out of bed today I wondered what on earth could happen as IT IS FRIDAY THE 13TH!! Captain in the hospital was not on the list. CaptainDippy you can add my name to your well wisher texts. I just emailed her but she probably won't get it until she's released.

Cyteen and Sibh my thoughts are with you both as you deal with a transverse. This morning (at the present moment) mine is head down again because she her hiccups in the area of my lady garden. However I think she's facing forward, punching and kicking my belly in several locations. Yesterday she was head down, then breech, then transverse, then breech again. The head down must have happened while I was sleeping. Who knows how many positions she'll be in today.

Off to get records from DD1's birth. They are charging me an unreal amount for the copies so I'm going to have to be civil or I might be posting from "a ward" of some sort myself later today.
