What a fantastic birth story tassisss - gives me hope! If we can do similar it will be lovely and untraumatic for ds. Fingers crossed.
Thanks for asking after him Peartart, he's much better in himself but ear still very gungey. Hope your dd stays well now too! We had paddies after he had been ill as well, I think they just get so tired and it takes them a few days to get back on track. Hope you are having a lovely day today.
Was feeling rough enough last night to consider phoning childcare plans A and B, with several definite minute-long pulls around the cervix area, but I don't know - might just be muscle strains from having a nasty cough, and definitely not strong enough to be proper labour contractions. Plus I was incredibly emotional and sobbing at everything - not like me! I still feel very rough today, exhausted, hangovery and twingey, and threw up this morning, but again, that could be from coughing. Could be pre-labour, but that could last days or weeks going by everyone else's tales ... Dp has taken ds off for a walk now anyway so I will curl up and rest now. Still can't decide whether to phone people to prepare them that they might be on call for ds duty, but I think really I need to wait for something more definite to happen. At least there is something going on though - last time I didn't get anything like this at all, so am really hoping it means there's a hormonal shift somewhere.
Ds said 'Where are you babby?' to the bump yesterday - possibly his first 4-word sentence - he has obviously worked out what's going on!
