Thanks for the welcome everyone! It going to be tough ? but fun ? keeping up with the pace of conversation!
HeartMum, as others have said, the New Forest is LOVELY! I grew up in Bournemouth, so it was just down the road. Worth a visit is Burley, a beautiful village, with lots of New Forest ponies wandering around the streets. Also, if you fancy going slightly further afield, head to Sandbanks and catch the ferry over to Swanage/ the Purbecks ? really beautiful and children might enjoy the car ferry over to it, as well as the lovely beaches, etc.
DH and I are going to try to fit in a holiday ? everyone keeps saying we must do it before we have a baby, but I?m not sure how we?re going to fit it in with moving house, etc ? or pay for it, for that matter (we had to go to a wedding in America in April and spent loads - and it wasn't even fun, cos I felt so grim!). May have to go and spend a few days in Ireland with the MIL ? but that?s not the kind of holiday I?m wishing for?
Pinkali ? I have already been suffering with a bad back and a kind of collapsing feeling, like my legs aren?t going to carry my weight, when I?m tired. Have had bad back for a couple of years, but haven?t been able to go to my lovely McTimoney chiropractor since finding out that I that was pregnant. My midwife referred me to a physiotherapist, and I saw them for the first time last week. They?ve given me some exercises, which I have to say seem to be helping a bit so far, and they said that they can sort it out? It does seem to be worth mentioning it to your midwife, and they will swing into action to help!
Dozymare? yes, I am very excited ? that didn?t really come across in my first post, did it? I?m also terrified, but who isn?t?? I?ve always wanted and hoped to have children, but now I can?t quite believe that I?m actually going to be a Mummy ? does anyone else feel like that?
Better stop typing - I knew that once I started I'd find it hard to stop... Sorry!!
