All this talk of movement and bumps is making me very envious!! I can't wait until I feel the first movement - nothing yet at 16+1. And no real bump, just a bit of a wobblly belly - although I've been in maternity trousers for weeks cos they're so damn comfy. I don't think I ever want to go back! Normal clothes aren't this comfy!! Went back to work today after half term, and I had been away the week before that, on a school trip, so I think a lot of my colleagues were expecting to notice the change in me, but one even said that I looked slimmer. This is the one time in my life that I do not want someone to tell me I'm looking slim!! Maybe it's the fact that I bought myself a pregnancy fitness DVD - 2 in fact - and did them while I was off work. I must admit, I was expecting them to be nice quiet, gently affairs, a bit of stretching here and there, but they were both a bit mad! One was Erin O'Brien (who is married to the guy who plays Mike Delfino in Desparate Housewives by the way). She must be about 38 weeks pregnant in the DVD, honestly she looks like she could give birth at any moment. So I was thinking that it would be fairly easy to keep up with her, but she is VERY fit, I found myself struggling half way through the video. She just kept going and going. The other one is a double DVD, with a pre- and post-natal work. The woman is called Sharon Gregory or something like that, and the workout is pretty good, but again, hard work. I would recommend both of them though, if you want a decent workout. I used to go to the gym a lot, but I must admit I'm less inclined to now, I feel more comfortable huffing and puffing in the privacy of my own home! My gym doesn't have any classes specifically for pregnancy, although I know you can still go to other classes if you make sure you take it wasy. Anyway, that's my fitness ramblings over for today. Will try to post a picture of my bump later as lots of people are doing, it's good to compare!
