Tinkerisdead · 29/05/2008 10:55

oh tegan, my nan had colon cancer and she was treated and was asolutley fine. she is now 91 and still fighting fit so yes life can get batter. can you try to ctach up on some sleep whilst the dc's are out? x

tegan · 29/05/2008 11:10

I would love to try and catch up pn sleep but dh is in bed as he works nights and snores really badly, can't sleep in kids beds and if i get on the sofa i will spot something that needs doing.

Had a soak in the bath, washed hair and shaved so feel a little more human now.

ChocOrange05 · 29/05/2008 11:27

Hi all - just to let you know I have just changed my nickname from Daniya to ChocOrange05 - I didn't want to use my real name anymore.

Tegan - sorry to hear about your nan, I hope things get better for you soon.

I am feeling very bumpy at the moment and have had horrid heartburn for the last 3 days, I just figured out what it was yesterday so I am dosing up on Gaviscon which is allowed and feeling a bit better.

I am waiting to feel movement still - I am 17+5 today and still not felt anything. I understand this is normal in your 1st pregnancy but I can't wait to feel something!!

lackaDAISYcal · 29/05/2008 11:45

tegan, sorry to hear about your Nan .

chocorange.....mmmmmmmm . I will want one every time you post now D

I've packed DS off to the local holiday playscheme today and DD is amusing herself on the floor (but is now annoyed as I've just take a tube of nappy cream off her).....ah lovely. The rain has stopped, so hopefully I'll get out in the garden later. Lots to do still to titivate it before DDs birthday BBQ a week on Sunday.

HM2J,

lackaDAISYcal · 29/05/2008 11:47

oops....DD just posted my half finished message

meant to add....

HM2J, you have a definate bump there now. Mine looks like your "let it all hang out" pic, but all the time...my tummy muscles have given up the ghost though so I suppose I'm letting it all hang out all the time. Am trying to remember to do my deep abdominal exercises that the physio gave me last time I was pergnant, but I always forget

dozymare · 29/05/2008 11:57

lacksadaisy I too look 6 months!! Must be because we are on 3rd PG's eh!!! Nothing to do with all the cake I have eaten the past few years!!!

Tegan so sorry to hear about your Nan, hope she is ok and makes a full recovery x

Chocorange great new name, I fancy one of those right now!!!!!!

Now here's a personal question to you lovely ladies...has anyone else started to get whiskers on their chin??!!!! I have just counted 6 hairs

DM x

ChocOrange05 · 29/05/2008 12:07

Funny thing is I don't even like Chocolate Orange flavoured things, but I am half indian and my husband is ginger so its our nickname together!! Sad I know!!

We've had lots of suggestions for Terry as a name if its a boy!

Tinkerisdead · 29/05/2008 12:31

great name Chocorange although i cant stop thining daniya still!!

i have no hairs on my chin DozyMare, god i dont know what to suggest about that, will plucking them make it worse? ive got hairy tummy!

dozymare · 29/05/2008 12:44

Chocorange I love how you get your nickname and yes, Terry would be a very fab and funny name!!!!!!!!

Drswife no hairs on tummy yet although I did get that with both DS's. Maybe we are having boys and it is all that tesosterone turning us into ladyboys?!!!!!!

Oblomov · 29/05/2008 13:51

DOZYMARE are you still going to Bluewater tomorrow, becasue I CAN COME, NOW ??

Heartmum2Jamie · 29/05/2008 13:55

Well, in the post today I recieved the most arse licking letter of apology straight from the OB herself. Considering I called at 2.30pm yesterday and the letter arrived this morning they must have moved fast as a form of damage control as I am sure it must be on my records somewhere that I have already made an official letter of complaint against the trust over DS2's care. Either that, or they didn't want me to go to the press considering there is already a rather fetching article on the front page of todays local papaer about this particular hospital.

Will be interesting to see what tomorrow brings!

I am well hairy. I think I might just call it a day and grow a proper goatee.
Then I can plait that into my nipple hair, attach that to my tummy hair, and be done with it.
Where is all this hair coming from ?

Oblomov · 29/05/2008 14:00

Heartmum, poor you. I would be beside myself with anger. Is it worth ringing this pm ?

dozymare · 29/05/2008 14:09

OBLOMOV yes I am!!! Glad you can mae it as well, I will be the lady who looks 6 months pregnant with the hairy chiny chin chin!!!

Oh how exciting, getting to meet a RL MN'er! Where and at what time shall we meet???????

(Warning you, I am a CRAP shopper though!!)

DM x

Oblomov · 29/05/2008 14:21

Dozy, I AM THERE.
I have never met a MN'er either and am a bit apprehensive. My anonimity will be gone. But only to you. Ha ha.
I am dropping ds off in nursery in Leatherhead at 8am. So however long it takes to get there.
I have never been before, so can not even suggest a place to meet.
P.s, based on recent experiences, I am totally crap at shopping too. We will have a right giggle.

PInkyminkyohnooo · 29/05/2008 14:24

Pinkyminky Hello

Oblomov · 29/05/2008 16:20

Dozy, I don't know. You can e-mail me on :
[email protected].
I think that is best. I don't want to turn up, only to find you haven't been able to make it.

ChocOrange05 · 29/05/2008 16:36

Dozy there's no requirement other than a bump - first, second, third or tenth!!

LolaBella · 29/05/2008 16:38

Heartmum i think it's a great idea that you take pictures of developing bump, i think i will start that.
My bump is still nowhere to be seen - im 18+1 - i still just look like i'v put on a few extra pounds. In maternity bottoms now though cause they are soooo comfty.

Got my 20 week scan 2 weeks today and we have decided that we want to know the sex - i think girl, dp thinks boy, we even have a little wager on it to keep things interesting
Is anybody else finding out?

dozymare · 29/05/2008 16:39

oblomov have emailed you!

dozymare · 29/05/2008 16:41
