Hi all. Glad to hear more good scan news!

We had MIL visit this weekend and she is such hard work. She literally never lifted a finger and kept going back to bed every couple of hours. I've asked DP not to let her come again for a while as it's hard work waiting on someone.

We also finally put DS in his 'big boy bed'. Went quite well - he went to bed no problems, but he woke up at 2am crying as he'd got stuck under the duvet. He was then awake for a couple of hours so I'm feeling shattered today. Anyone of you with older children got any tips?

Slinkie we'll be near each other for mat leave won't we? We can have some fun together I'm sure.

Meglet I'm the same as you with the whole bf thing. I hated it last time and was relieved when I gave up. I keep veering to and fro with regards to trying it for this baby. I had such a happy time last time round, really enjoyed the whole experience, and am worried that attempting to bf will make the whole thing fraught.

I LOVE the name Max. Every Max I've ever met has been amazing. I wish I could name my son Max... short for Maximillion or Maxwell (I know, I'm wacky) ...but I've never met a bad Max. Ever.

Noah...I'm naming my son Noah because I LOVE it and it' the only name my husband and i agree on.

Oscar is adorable too...I've met too many Harrys and Thomases...Isaac is really nice too.

I'm really curious to see my baby. i wish time would go by just a little faster.

Hopefully that sounds like Braxtons to me. I've been getting a lot of them lately - particularly when I'm walking around.

So last day in office today thankfully - 4d scan tomorrow then holiday on Saturday! Just found out resort has a spa so planning on booking some lovely treatments for when DS is in Toddler Club. Can't wait for sunshine and sleep!

Sunshinemummy I am so jeaous of you! Wish we could afford to go on hols, but just trying to get finances sorted for when baby arrives.

Max is a lovely name, but I like using full names, and DP hates maximillian and maxwell, so not much hope there!

Ooh, DP's sister has offered us loads of stuff in the last couple of days - baby gym, bath seat support thing, neutral colour baby gros etc etc. Wasn't expecting it, is nice to be able to cut a few things from the endless shopping list!

I really like Max, I want something that sounds final iykwim, with my other childrens names, I have Toby and Isabelle, so it needs to go with their names!

I'm really keen on Oscar too, but worried thats too popular at the moment, Oh and Kerry Katona having a Max isn't great!

I like all of your names izzy but they are all names that friends have used or are children at nursery with DS.

DP came home with the Nature's Nest and various decorations for Baloo's bedroom last night - am so so excited. Can' wait to see her tomorrow and to start decorating her nursery (or supervising it anyway as our handyman is going to do it for us).

Who was it that was looking for baby blankets? I've found some nice ones at Bombay Duck, Designers Guild and A-space. Think I'm going to get one of the DG ones as DS has a Brora one and I want Baloo to have something different.

Morning all. Its so sunny here that I've done tons of washing, and run out of clothes pegs!

Hi everyone

I had my glucose tolerance test this morning - downing 400mls of lucozade on an empty stomach is revolting!!!! Yuk. I should get the results through this afternoon though, so at least I don't have to wait too long. Is anyone else due for a GTT? I had to have one because my Mum is type 2 diabetic. Anyway, hopefully I'll pass the test...

DS turned 3 yesterday, he was very excited about everything especially the space rocket we got him from ELC, whoosh! I can't believe he's three though, so big! I was awake at 5:30 for the exact anniversary of his birth (not deliberately, just insomnia due to it being too light outside I think) and thinking about when he was born, very nostalgic and now I'm quite looking forward to this one arriving as well! Although hopefully not yet for a bit .

Not logged on for a few days, so gonna take a while to catch up. Bear with me! I'm on facebook too (As Steph Naylor), so I'll try and join groups etc today.

Kasha I have a GTT at 27 weeks (I'm 23 now) cos my sister had ges diabetes with both her DC. She didn;t get it until late on though (31 weeks), so I suspect I'll have another one around 32 weeks. Fingers crossed for you!

I decided to speak with the midwife after my fall yesterday, I hadn't been feeling the baby move so much over the last three days and then yesterday she moved about 3 times so I freaked myself out a bit. Check up showed I was worrying over nothing though, the midwife blamed it on my anterior placenta masking most of the movements, she thinks the baby has probably turned (she was breach) so that all her kicks are now high up where they are masked by the placenta.

I ended up buying another cute little outfit from Babies r Us as a celebration! (any excuse!!).

I'm tryng to catch up on 5 days worth of posts and have got to the facebook bit. I'm on it too. I'll look for those of you who are on it, I'm Debi Ives, don't know how many of me there are but I'm standing on a big rock in my photo (and yes I was pregnant at the time but I never fell off so its ok)

KashSarrasin I also have to have the glucose test but don't have any history of diabetes in family so unsure why. Think possibly everyone at C&W does.
