pmsl, maybe she put too much vinegar on his chips

poppy - am rather enjoying this tubi grip, helping with back and 'heavy' feeling, why not mention it to m/w and see if she thinks its worth while trying one of those?

agree completely with the gym ball, I LOVE LOVE LOVE mine and the physio gave me excercised to do on it, just have to remember who I leant it to now

TwilightSurfer · 22/04/2008 20:38

Sazzles you sounded wonderful, very confident!! But it just made me laugh out loud remembering how irritated I was with DH the day that was discussed.

Evening girls!

Mega exciting stuff!!! I?m getting my pram on Sunday ? yay!!! I know it?s super early, but we knew that we definitely wanted the one that we picked so I thought there?d be no point in putting it off, and running the risk of possibly not being able to get it later. But don?t worry dizzy, it?s being kept a MIL?s until my friend round the corner is ready to take it for us. Although, I may keep the car seat, is that allowed?! I can't remember if you said.

Thanks Sazzles! I now have a bit of a long name but I quite like it! I have VintageGardenia to thank ? she typed my name in as Dazie a while ago and gave me the idea!

I was really excited about your 4d scan miamla. We're having ours done on 31st May and I can't wait. Your pictures look amazing! Did you find out that your baby was a boy there, or did you know already? We're thinking of finding out but not telling anyone, but not sure how easy that would be!

longwayhome ? I mentioned Keanu Reeves! Yum yum! I?d said to Dizzy that I called the Phil & Ted buggy, a ?Bill & Ted? buggy which got me a few sniggers! That then made me think of Keanu Reeves, even though he looked a bit dodge in the films!

alittlebitshy ? I just loved the Linear Freeway as soon as I saw it! It?s really easy to manoeuvre and the car seat and pram body clip onto the chassis easily. It fits really well in the car too, any bigger mind you and we'd have had to get another pram! I?ll tell you more about it after Sunday!!

Aww Shazza, we weren?t taking the mickey out of your vest number! Just put it down to jealousy over you being so organised! And I understand about the odd numbers thing, I hate them! I need to have even numbers of stuff and symmetrical arranging of stuff! I indulge myself with it just now as I know that any organisation in that way will go out of the window when LO is here!

Oh, and I definitely recommend everyone to do dizzy?s thing of lying on your left side if you have trapped wind ? you?ll have trapped wind no more! Just warn DH/DP accordingly!

Sorry about the long post! I haven't been on for all of 2 days and I seem to have missed loads!

CaptainCaveman · 22/04/2008 21:05

sazzles am off to listen again!! I must have just missed you as I listen to Chris Evans on the way home, and had I been picking ds up from nursery today I would have heard you! Next time you're on, say hello to us

VG praying for your mum and your dog, poor you, what a time you've had. How's your dog doing now? (and your mum of course?!)

dizzy am with you on the ironing of pillow cases - I likes a nice bed to lie in. I don't however, iron pants. Dh does all the cooking in our house so I do the ironing. Admittedly, I've not ironed a thing since I did my bump . Ds now has no trousers in his clothes drawer, as they're all in the ironing pile.

mat leave - am now working on finishing earlier than initially planned. I thought maybe finish at 37 weeks and have more time off after but now thinking of going at 34 weeks and saving money so I can still have til next EAster off work. July 3rd is looking like a good date to finish work

dizzydixies · 22/04/2008 21:09

ah hazie thank you, am delighted to be know as thread flatulence expert

car seats allowed, prams are not!!

CC good point, no more ironing for you lol

I start annual leave on 10th june which runs straight into matty leave starting on 7th july - ours HAS to start on a Mon even though we work shifts!?!

its dd1's 5th birthday that weekend too and the place has huge trampolines built into the ground so if feeling bump needing some encouragement I may well be on them myself lol

TwilightSurfer · 22/04/2008 21:12

Captain, Sazzles is at the very end of the show (if you can fast forward). She's the third chica in the Volvo!!

HazieDazieandBaby · 22/04/2008 21:31

Hi Sazzles, can I have your autograph? Check you out, all famous and everything! I travel on the bus and my iPod doesn't have radio so I didn't hear it but will try and catch you on the site.

What pram did you get? At least I'm not alone in getting mine early. I thought it was just first-timer excitement on my part!

CaptainCaveman · 22/04/2008 21:33

Sazzles are you so posh that you say bach instead of back? .

I'm in serious need of a holiday! I feel so knackered that its getting hard work coming on here to chat in the evening - now if thats not a sign that I need a holiday I don't know what is?!?!?! I'm just praying that I can find somewhere with internet access in Florida.....

CaptainCaveman · 22/04/2008 21:34

Good night ladies and bumps zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

dizzydixies · 22/04/2008 21:36

HazieDazieandBaby · 22/04/2008 21:44

Thanks dizzy! I'm dying to fill up baby's room now it's all painted and ready! I get my moses basket on Friday so at least I can have that and the car seat in there soon! How are things going at work? How many shifts have you left? I take it you're still counting down? I'm going to finish on 11th July - 11wks on Friday!

TwilightSurfer · 22/04/2008 21:47

I guess it's time for me to figure out dinner plans. When the first of you start talking about going to bed...that's my cue.

Hmmmmmmmm I HATE DINNER!!

My thoughts exactly dizzy. Wow, you only have 7wks of work left - scary!! But brilliant at the same time!

dizzydixies · 22/04/2008 22:06

sazzles tis what am looking at this very second but at bloody price!

what age gap do you have, dd2 will be 2.2yrs when this one is born and wondered if maybe better to get something like a P&T so can be used as a single after - arrgghhh my head is going to burst with all this

hazie I can't wait, we have such a busy May coming up and then I start my work experience with cancer research so looking forward to some time with girls before baby comes, also dh and I have a terrible time juggling shifts so that will sort that problem out for best part of a year!

ChaCha · 22/04/2008 22:12

Hello ladies,

Just popping in to see how you all are - is everyone okay? Sorry to be a stranger, so hard to keep up.

EDD now probably 1st week August as opposed to the 10th. Am 25weeks and feeling v.uncomfortable especially as sciatic pain is back and entertaining the toddlers v.tiresome. Hope everyone else is alright. Won't turn this into an essay as i'm sure most of you don't even remember who i am...will pop on again tomorrow anyway x

ChaCha, we remember you!! Glad you've stopped in to give us an update. I've changed your EDD on the main list. It will appear the next time I post it.

Watching Ferris Bueller's Day Off on AMC. My teen years very closely resembled this perfect movie.

All the talk of prams/strollers made me check on the status of mine. It should ship out next week. Dizzy don't worry. It's for DD1 and future DD2 so it's early arrival won't harm anything as DD1 will be using first.

OOh so I'm probably the first to post this morning!!!!

VG Very srory about your mum being so poorly, and about yout poor (was going to say little but then i remembered the 5 stone bit) dog And fgs woman, don't go pulling anymore muscles in that stomach. Hope the bath helped. mmm I might have a nice bath tonight. I still have some Lush stuff dh got for me in Nov when i was first preg but I couldn't go near them cos of the smell and nausea!!

V exciting stuff Hazie about getting your pram. Did you say you went for a new colour in the end? Can you take piccies of it for us when you get it??? {sad sad sad emoticon].

TS what did you decide on for dinner??? Is it the thinking what to cook that you hate?? Before I got pg I used to menu plan, and shop for it once a week, and maybe get top ups in the week eg milk, fruit, bread. But then when i got pg and couldn't handle cooking, dh did it his way . Now i'm back onto ocoking but can't think that far ahead cos as I still feel ill, I can't know what I'll be able to deal with at the other end of the week. Eating a lot of the same stuff though - a lot of quiche, poatatoes, salad; stir fries; er, can't think what else - that's not all we eat, honest.

Chacha good to see you back. How did you manage to get the date moved?? Wheen did they pick that up?

cyteen that's my dh's name .

sazzles how come 2 carrycots?????????
