Good luck with the move PF, shall we expect to hear from you in about 3months after yourb broadband is set up?

PetitFilou1 · 22/04/2008 12:54

It is set up - I hope - I am working from home from 12 May so it HAS to be

PetitFilou1 · 22/04/2008 12:55

Mind you - if it wasn't it would help with my addiction to MN. Now back to work pf (says to self) Bit distracted at the moment by insanely bad indigestion.

Chiming in with Sazzles....Girl Names are Difficult. Probably because there's just too many to choose from.

MORNING

OP posts:
TwilightSurfer · 22/04/2008 13:21

Miamla how many weeks were you for the 3D pics? I need to figure out when to do mine...next week being the first week I can do it.....32 weeks being the last.

OP posts:
TwilightSurfer · 22/04/2008 13:24

Here's our boy name list:
Spencer, Sawyer, Jake, Owen, Luke, Fischer, Parker, Beckett, Graham

Owen was the top pick (until we found out we're having a girl).

miamla · 22/04/2008 13:28

TS they recommended that we went when i was 26 or 27 weeks (I was actually 25+6 that she raised an eyebrow at but said she'd give it a go!)
the impression i got for the reason for strict timing is that baby is too big to get a decent pic of after 30weeks but too unidentifable less than 26

at the place we went to they said 26/27 to give us a chance to come back the following week if baby was in wrong position

petit you lucky thing! i'm dreading our move! no packers for us just rather reluctant "volunteers" ie friends that i'm bribing with beer!

alittlebitshy · 22/04/2008 13:29

When do you move "miamla*?? and do you fancy meeting up sometime seeing as we are so close....?

Okay 27+2 will be 19May... DD will still be in preschool (her last week) so DH and I could go ALONE. Thanks!

OP posts:
TwilightSurfer · 22/04/2008 13:34

Thanks Sazzles....DH Vetoed it without hesitation. Nice try though. I'm still settled with Maggie Ethelyn. DH said he'd consider Emory Kate which was what I called DD until 30 days before her birth when we mutually agreed on Kinsley Grayson. Just don't feel right giving DD2 DD1's belly name.

OP posts:
Buckets · 22/04/2008 13:46

TS did we try the Cornish name Lowenna on you?

miamla · 22/04/2008 13:56

hi albs yeah definitely! i haven't forgotten about our meet up, its just all been a bit crazy round the edges here!
we're still waiting to exchange but have no idea when that will be...maybe today, maybe tomorrow, maybe even next week but i'm not sure my nerves will cope with that! i'll let you know, i promise!

TS i reckon 19th of May would be a perfect day to have it!

TwilightSurfer · 22/04/2008 14:01

Sorry Buckets...no bells and whistles went off for me. It's okay though. I've got my ace until fireworks go off for another.

OP posts:
PetitFilou1 · 22/04/2008 14:57

Sazzles I'm up for that. Other two dcs would love it (if they were around at the time)!

where to start?!?!?

miamla will redo list with criteria of -

not beginning with h
long name can be shortened
traditional / welsh and get back to you

TS I still think Maggie Ethelyn is lovely, friend of ours just had a Maggie Rose

ALBS I did warn you am a bit name obsessed and although haven't swallowed a name book i do have one to hand lol. I think its a lovely idea to have your DD involved in the choice - DD1 has chosen Pinky for a girl and Bluey for a boy for our pending bundle!!!

Shazza Lexie, well what can I say, a quality choice lol Am warning you now though, its not a name to give feint heartdly as she will be feisty/wild and definately opinionated I like both Owen and Charlie, Billy and not so keen on as I think boys and dads names the same become big and wee * if you see what I mean?

cyteen I think William using Will is just lovely but taken on board you like Calum, but can't use, Joseph/jacob/caleb and vincent and will have another think based on that

petit good luck with the move, we moved in here 6yrs ago and I still don't think we've unpacked properly skip to be hired prior to baby coming lol

Amelie is a lovely suggestion and I REALLY like it but dd1's friend at nursery who she will go to school with is amelie and her wee sister is isabella - all too samey possibly?!?

CC seriously, sod the ironing, I was congratulating myself for ironing 10 pillow cases yesterday everything in moderation lol

buckets I like Romilly as a suggestion for Poppy - she could use Romy as a shortened rather than Milly? was ROFL @ the wee one shouting EXTRA, in this house its the sheila's wheels advert - look mummy the pink dancing ladies

VG where have you gone? am missing my daily phone sex and need some advice on designer vaginas!!!!!! hope you're actually not working too hard

dizzydixies · 22/04/2008 15:40

and.......................... breath!!

work was fine, girls slept through, managed to get the both to nusery and into work on time, had nice salad for lunch, not sure whats for tea but will deal with that later

hope you're all having a nice day and I am sorry if I missed anyone out or forgot anything lol

PetitFilou1 · 22/04/2008 16:00

lol Sazzles - but I have already organised for them to be in nursery/preschool for a lot of the time I couldn't cope with 3 under 5s at at home ALL the time. How many children you have under the age of 5 is an indicator of women's mental health for a reason!

alittlebitshy · 22/04/2008 16:25

dizzy what the hell were you thinking - ironing 1 pillow case, let alone 10, is a sign of madness...... (says she who has NEVER ironed anything that goes on a bed)?!

miamla · 22/04/2008 16:40

albs i am absolutely with you on the not ironing anything that goes on a bed!!

miamla · 22/04/2008 16:40

dizzy looks good to me!
