OH I love those but they are hard to find here. DD had two and I used them over and over. Thanks...I wonder if this site ships to the US?

Is drizzly, grey and cold here today, boo hoo! We are off to get some dreadfully boring diy supplies of some sort or another, then to see a new baby (coo! practice!) and then back asap to loll on sofa. We cannot light the fire alas cos magpies (I think) have stuffed up the chimney with twigs. They keep dropping down into the grate, I feel so sorry for the birds working away with nesting materials and their nest never getting any bigger. Have not had time to read through recent posts, will do so during loll-time. I'd love a nice Doris Day film and a foot rub...

Baby kicking LOADS today, has had three wakeful periods already & everyone has felt them.

Now that I know what they are officially called I'm going to do some searching. Gerber makes them but I can't find a store that sells that style. I've got 30 snap front t-shirts (varying sizes). Last time I went all out with the onesies but hated pulling them over her head when she was her tiniest...thus the snap front this time.

TS love it that you think of us all while you're in the loo! but oi! be careful what you mention on here about desperate housewives....we're weeks behind you over here!!!

Dizzy re names...theodore is still top of our list but i'd love some other ideas

so much to catch up on and so little time! we're off out in a minute to pick up some cardboard boxes. we've finally starting packing and i'm really hoping its not going to jinx our house move!

re prams.... anyone any thoughts on the mamas and papas Luna? i've read bad things about the early versions but the current version (3 i think) seems better? I love the colours it comes in! perhaps i need to start a new thread on it

miamla · 20/04/2008 15:47

here's a linky to the cress version of the luna...

Miamla did you know that all the last episodes of Desperate Housewives can be viewed on the ABC.com website. I stopped watching the show after the first season due to a scheduling conflict but from time to time go out on the web to view shows that peak my interest. I'm not sure how quickly the shows post but their are limited commercials and you can pause them as needed. There's also loads of other ABC shows too.....like GREYs ANATOMY!!! The new ABC season starts tonight. THANK GOD THE WRITERs STRIKE ENDED!!

Still no luck with the vests. Plan to hit a few high end baby shops tomorrow. One is owned by a friend...maybe she can get them for me.

Trying to get ready for a BBQ party. Seems nobody in my house can dress themselves.

Wouldn't recommend buying a new double buggy - borrow one or get a 2nd hand one first, depending how old your toddler is. They weigh an absolute tonne and you'll want it out of your house ASAP, esp as you'll suddenly be more ruthless about making your toddler walk. The non-tandem ones are horribly claustrophobic in shops too. Have never tried a Phil&Teds though, they do look a bit lighter.

TwilightSurfer · 20/04/2008 17:23

I like the tandem I selected and I'm pretty sure you can get it over there. See it here.

dizzydixies · 20/04/2008 20:45

ah sh*te, I think thats my indigestion kicked in, two nights in a row

IlanaK · 20/04/2008 20:47

I am really rubbish about coming on here to catch up with everyone!

I will be 26 weeks tomorow and starting to really feel huge. As well as kicks, I get these really uncomfortable feeling like the baby is sort of pushing/stretching/turning in me. Hard to describe exactly, but just feels like pressure all over. It is getting more frequent now.

Only three weeks until my holiday which I am really looking forward to. Not looking forward to the appointment at the hospital a couple of days before going to get my anti d shots - very very painful I remember from last time. I will probably try to arrange for someone to have my other boys so they don't see me cry!

If you are putting names onto the updated list - we have definately decided on Saul.

I was laughing about the people saying about no prams in the house before the baby is born. We live in a flat with nowhere else to put it! Actually, my old one is at my mum's at the moment due to lack of space, but since we are moving in with her before the baby is born (refurbishments here), it will techinically be in the house with us.

Hope everyone is well. We are off to the zoo tomorow - hope it stays dry!

That wedding sounds wicked.
I too am quite farty at the mo but I put it down to still being in the honeymoon period with my new breadmaker. Luckily DH seems to find nothing more hilarious than girls farting so, as long as the smell's of non-toxic level, I'm all right Jack .

Talking of DH, we had hilarious sex in the study downstairs earlier. Reasons included him going out for 8pm, kids not going to sleep on time and our bedroom having an antisocially squeaky bed (our poor neighbours) and no door. Actually, do I need a reason?

dizzydixies · 20/04/2008 21:12

buckets am pmsl at breadmaker associated wind and well done you on the efforts made

gold star for nookie of the week to buckets

mine don't smell, well at least I don't think they do, its in the morning and I have no idea what causes it
