Oh I also had a contraction during lunch. You should have seen the waiters face especially when he heard I am overdue

I always thought it was funny the way women just pottered around doing their stuff when they were overdue and already experiencing some contractions but what else can you do!

Scorpio: It is a bit early. I'll be 41+1. She says research shows that the placenta doesn't perform as well after 41 weeks and baby can thrive outside. That said if I wanted to go further I probably could. Also a lot of ladies who go to 42 weeks may not actually be 42 weeks as EDD may not be exact. If I went on just dates my EDD was April 7th but scan then said April 13th which makes sense as I have a long cycle.

i am going to try to get induction for Monday, 41+3.

Good luck hoping that the sweep starts something for you.

Maybe we will give birth the same day then! Monday is the 21st. Think that would just about make it a Taurus baby or a baby on the cusp of Aries and Taurus - interesting

TBH though, i don't really mind - Monday, Wednesday, blah blah - its still fecking inducing me

There's a good chance you'll have her without being induced so I wouldn't worry too much.

she had to be there at 7.45am or something....maybe her DP will write in later when visiting hrs finish.

Hi All had a lovely day at MIL she bought me some castor oil which I shall be partaking in later after reading up about it on the net first!

I think the main difference between you scorpio and Molly is that once you have had a baby your cervix doesnt completely close so at this stage you could be 2-3cm easily but Mollys will be opening to have her baby when I was examined at 36 weeks i was already 2cm and they didnt think anything of it because I have had a dc.

Right my angel want to go on Nick jnr and I am in the middle of cleaning the oven - Its wrong isnt it that you get all excited because you have found a oven cleaner you can use in pregancy

Well maybe its a good 6thing VS never had that baby vaginally.....

Congrats to all the new babies!! Well done VS!! {I'm a bit behind now with who I've already congratulated!) ooooh Scorpio, hope you get your homebirth- I'm due on Friday and I'm hoping to have one, was wanting all the info from you after! Anyone else who had a home birth - any tips? Knowing my luck I'll probably be induced and end up in hospital too. Not getting any signs or anything yet.
