scorpio - we had this with our LO the other day - felt nothing for hours on end - really started to panic. then the little monkey kept me awake for hours at bedtime doing gymnastics - think they do it to wind you up and prove that they are already in charge

Nothing really to report here - still getting pains but with no regularity. Still using the TENS - I have a Femme Tens which has a trillion different settings. The pulse rate and width are pretty much on max, the intensity is on 3, think it goes up to 5. I boost whenever I have a contraction, which makes it continuous rather than pulsing - is bliss!! I was told that with tens, you should start early to get full benefit. Oh, and I'm taking paracetamol too, to take the edge off it.

DH is having my nesting phase for me - he is apparently working from home, but is currently cleaning the kitchen, having already dusted and hoovered the whole house

Bump has dropped loads since last night, which I suspect is all that these ctx are - just pushing her down further. On a plus, heartburn isn't so bad

it does feel weird hearing about all these false starts etc that you lot are having. I didn't get a single twinge last time, not one. no show, no waters going, nowt. nothing happened at all until they started the induction

hoping for one of these speedy spontaneous 2nd labours this time!

btw - if you give birth in the ambulance in a layby or en-route to the hospital what do they put on the birth certficate?? (Place of birth - Junction 17, M60)???

Congratulations, AussieDiva, thank goodness you got to the hospital. Hope you are being well looked after now and your lovely daughter is letting you get some rest.

Nothing here, lots of BH, definitely feeling better and less shattered than I did last week. Ate massive dinner last night (pasta and sauce with cheese) and think maybe that's why I actually woke up with some energy for once. Bring it on.

DD and I had pineapple for breakfast, and I'm getting some hot curry out of the freezer for tomorrow night. DH might even get lucky for the second time in two days if I have some energy tonight.

I've had 3 afternoon baths this week and just taken DD in with me! Bit of a squeeze but she enjoys it and I just lie back and let her play with the teletubby bath toys!

tlsm dont forget nt all labours are textbook- went from 15mins to 2 mins to trasition, so could well be real thing.
