Due date tomorrow. DDs 2nd birthday on Sunday. Have just bitten the bullet and organised a small party with 5 close friend and their 2 year olds for next Sunday. Therefore law of the sod states that this baby will be born next Sunday!

Still pg here, doing the school run was a nightmare, everyone asking ooh not here yet...err, what do you think?!?

Due on Friday, 39+3 today.

Ellie - you're trying very hard to get her out!!

paranoidmummy · 07/04/2008 09:41

Big congrats to everyone who had their babies.

YAY Peachy.. so happy you got your homebirth.

How are things with vs? any updates? I've been thinking about you and sending positive vibes!!!

Overdue here and feeling pretty fed up...

moominsmummy · 07/04/2008 09:45

congratulations Peachy and April Fool - gorgeous gorgeous names - hope you both doing ok

Carey - the nipple stimulation thing - I did it last time and it did naff all - I just found it irritating - having said that nipple stimulation has never done much for me in the bedroom department so maybe if it's your "thing" it will work better - apparently you have to do it for hours too......

well DH has set off to Cambridge with my parents - and in a totally foul mood with me. He woke up feeling really rubbish today and said he wasn't going - but if he doesn't go for this appointment he def won't get his treatment and they've said they've nothing left to try for him and his MS will just get worse. Said he would rather drive himself down to cambridge this afternoon when he's feeling a bit better (he does get totally unrealistic when ill) as doesn't want to travel with his in-laws. when i said no to that he then said he didn't want the treatment at all - told him I didn't accept that and he's only saying it cos he feels crap today. In the end I told him to do it for me and the kids if for nothing else. He went off very begrudgingly and in a real mood with me saying I'm bullying him.

PortAndLemon · 07/04/2008 09:53

Congratulations Peachy and aprilfoolsbaby!

scorpio1 · 07/04/2008 09:57

Millie is very quiet today, going to poke her.

scorpio1 · 07/04/2008 10:04

she wriggled. I have lost the £50 bet, she would have had to have been born yesterday . DH has Wednesdays date for his £50 bet.

He said on the phone a sec ago that he had a word with Millie and they are going to split the money

sagitta · 07/04/2008 10:09

Congratulations Peachy - so glad it went well!! And AFB - finally!

I hope PFJ is OK...

I've got a top tip for anyone getting horrible backache at night from sleeping on their side. The physio told me to sleep on a folded over double duvet - and I am sleeping really well now!

AussieDivaOnABreak · 07/04/2008 10:10

CONGRATULATIONS to Peachy and AprilFools - it was all starting to feel a little quiet and then two announced all at once! Gorgeous names and thrilled to bits for you both. Now all we need is for PFJ to send us some news....

I had some proper contractions yesterday afternoon - after having to linger in my local coffee shop for two hours because my dh accidently locked us out of the house! So the FIL drove over and managed to help get through the front door without too much destruction. I came back in to wood splinters all over the floor and at this stage I was having regular contractions every 10 minutes. I think my body must have gone "oh no!" and shut down as it all went quiet again about an hour later. Trying for a HB with your FIL and DH trying to put the front door back together and tool boxes all over the living room floor -not a great atmosphere for the arrival of a lo! Then nothing overnight either...

Thinking of you VS too.

Have to take my dd out to do SOMETHING today just to tackle the boredom

eva07 · 07/04/2008 10:26

oh moominsmummy, I'm sure he didn't mean it. he probably is afraid for you to go into labour when he's away. and I guess this treatment is nothing to look forward to either.
people sometimes say stupid things when they have lots of worries. he probably regrets saying it by now!
(((moominsmummy)))

egyptianprincess · 07/04/2008 10:36

congrats to Peachy and AFB!! what lovely news and what great names!

SuzeM · 07/04/2008 10:38

Congratulations Denny, Bunyanvillas, Rainbowdays, Peachy and Aprilfoolsbaby, great news.

Our laptop is giving up the ghost so I haven't been able to check in here for days.

Sagitta, it took 3 days for your dd to be born after induction?!!!! I am 39 weeks today but assume I will end up being induced. If my dd takes 3 days, I'll be looking at a May baby. I think she should stay inside me until the weather is warmer.

I am getting starting to find the phone calls a bit annoying now, I mean it is nice they care but my SIL has taken to phoning the land line, texting, emailing and ringing my mobile until I give in and pick up. I also got a call from my dh's cousin ringing to see if there is news, I think I met her once about 6 years ago and I honestly didn't know who she was at first.

Molly, what a nightmare being stuck on the tube, your poor husband must have been in bits. I was supposed to go to Moorgate today but can't face taking the tube over there. The farthest I am going from now on is to my new home-from-home, Peter Jones. I am really not missing work at all.

Moomins, I hope your dh gets on well at his appointment today.

sagitta · 07/04/2008 10:53

'fraid so, Suze. She was is a stubborn little monkey. We started induction on 25th, and she eventually came out - minutes from emergency CS on 28th. Surrounded by doctors sharpening their knives!!

VictorianSqualor · 07/04/2008 11:01
