Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
honeybee10 · 31/03/2008 15:01

thanks for that, makes me feel a bit better

PortAndLemon · 31/03/2008 15:06

Very accurate with both of mine. DS they had on centile that projected around ten and a half pounds full term and he was 10 lb 5.3 oz; DD they had on centile somewhere around eight and a half to nine pounds and she was 8 lb 15 oz. Neither of them breakdancing, though, so easier to measure.

ToastAddict · 31/03/2008 15:16

P&L - how do you do it???? You had a baby yesterday and you're MNing more than I am!!

Certainly gives me hope about this "caring for a new baby" lark They tell you you have no time anymore......

ThePFJ · 31/03/2008 15:40

Thats because she is Supermum!!
Moomin is still Wonderwoman.
And I... er.. am.. er.. Ocelotgirl.

scorpio1 · 31/03/2008 15:41

I am she-ra

scorpio1 · 31/03/2008 15:41

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/She-Ra

ThePFJ · 31/03/2008 15:42

Hehehehehe.

PortAndLemon · 31/03/2008 15:43

Have perfected art of typing one-handed while breastfeeding from days with DS. Valuable life skill...

Also, she sleeps. During the day, admittedly, while night time is for partying, but we'll work on that bit...

ThePFJ · 31/03/2008 15:43

I actually have a copy of the He-man/She-ra Secret of the Sword Movie. How lame am I?

scorpio1 · 31/03/2008 15:43

prob a collectors item now!

ToastAddict · 31/03/2008 15:44

I still haven't had an inkling of this nesting instinct I hear so much about. Think my body has said "no, you're knackered, you do not have the energy to do housework that you would never normally do, have a nap instead"!

Fortunately, DH has had a bit of a spring cleaning spurt, so house isn't looking too bad.

But I am going to have a snooze now or I'll be Little Miss Grumpy when he comes home! Or rather, HUGE Miss Grumpy

Denny185 · 31/03/2008 15:47

fav character used to be ram man, however if on nostalgic cartoon characters cant beat batfink surely

ThePFJ · 31/03/2008 15:47

Hope so Scorpio. Thats of course the only reason I hang on to all my lamest of movies and cult items. Of course its not to play with them. Nonono. Cough.

honeybee10 · 31/03/2008 15:47

I am still waiting for the nesting instinct to kick in too! Somehow I think its not going to happen and I'll just have to keep on saying 'ignore the mess' as usual!!

ThePFJ · 31/03/2008 15:49

Yay Batfink!!
Oh don't get me STARTED on old kids cult stuff. Seriously.. I WILL talk your head off. RUN AWAY NOW!!

ToastAddict · 31/03/2008 15:51

Wonderwoman, She-Ra, Batfink, erm, Ocelotgirl..... guess this must be me!!
Especially with all the yawning

ThePFJ · 31/03/2008 15:51

BTW Scorpio.. If you are in Cornwall.. I actually HAVE Gus honeybun's autograph. I try to tell people about his magic mushroom and they don't believe me.

xxx

ThePFJ · 31/03/2008 15:53

Awwww... Bagpuss!!!!

Denny185 · 31/03/2008 15:56

OMG bagpuss, dd used to have this massively irritating mouse that used to sing 'we will bind it ....' unfortunatley it met its maker in the great bin when she was diagnosed with asthma and told to get rid of all soft toys

Now jamie and the magic torch - massive memories of having chicken pox and being allowed a bed on the sofa eating buttery boiled eggs (with a runny yolk!!)

northeastmummy · 31/03/2008 16:02

Good luck PFJ!!!

Well, since seeing Molly's room I've been away doing things for baby and have missed loads. Feeling a lot better about things now though .

Could someone email me with names of people to make friends with on Facebook? I've found Ellie and Knitter but I'm struggling with everyone else. I'm desperate to see PAL's photos!!

ThePFJ · 31/03/2008 16:05

When I was a very very little girl I remember Chorlton and the Wheelies and Moschops seemed strange to me but I loved them. I used to love watching the mice on Bagpuss singing 'We will clean it we will polish it....' Choc-a-Bloc, Bric-a-Brac and Cosmo and Dibbs were other early ones for me too if I recall. That and Let's Pretend with the weird green catapillar.
I remember Jamie and the Magic Torch so well too.
Argh. You got me started!!!

Denny185 · 31/03/2008 16:09

They were on something v funny when they made chorton and the wheelies! What about button moon and Mr Ben - they only made 12 of those apparently - Im sure ive seen at least 100 different ones though

ThePFJ · 31/03/2008 16:10

northeastmummy PAL found me using my email address [email protected]. If you do find me I will happily try to forward you PAL's facebook details. I am not very good with facebook though, so I'll do my best.

northeastmummy · 31/03/2008 16:13

Oh - I forgot to include my email address - [email protected]

I feel like that about Mr Ben Denny. There were hardly any made, but I feel like it went on for years!

Does anyone remember Bod? I saw an episode recently and it's as good as ever .

ThePFJ · 31/03/2008 16:13

Button moon..... -nostalgic sigh-

-goes to find an old domestos bottle to saw in half-
