cheers, am hoping it works as my mum & dad are going home tomorrow!!

I'm not due for another 9 days but one of my brothers is already sending me text messages saying 'any sign of this baby yet'? grrr....

Welcome to the overdue club Sheds. I had alot of bleeding after my sweep followed by alot of 'show'. I really hope it gets things going for you, I really do, but it might not so don't put too much store in it and try to relax. My advice is when people ring and you think you are in labour not to tell them. Just tell people you will call when baby arrives. That way you won't feel bad after any false alarms - however serious they get, and you won't have to worry about calling people back. If you have an answer machine - use it
The more relaxed you are the better. Remember babies can happily and safely go to 2 weeks overdue before you should panic.
I have become obsessed with wondering if LO is alright in there and whether he is moving and so on. I find if I lie back and play him some music he soon responds, no matter how quiet I thought he was during the day etc.

There's only one thing worse than everyone asking whether you've had it yet - and that is when they stop. At about 41 weeks, (after I'd shouted at all friends and family to stop phoning me) I realised that I was obviously going to be pregnant forever, and worse still, NO ONE CARED!!!

I have three bags of minieggs here and I am not afraid to use them!!

PFJ thanks for the advise, I think the answering machine will come in to use soon! am generally quite relaxed and resigned to the fact he will arrive when he feels like it

I luuuvee mini eggs thank goodness they have stopped selling them because I was eating that many I may actually give birth to a mini egg. Actually thinking about it that would be alot easier than giving birth to lo.

Im only 37+3 and Im already bouncing on a ball and having lots of pineapple. My midwife told me to bounce about ontop of my DH which he was very happy about.

Im soo bad at keeping up with this thread. It is great to see all the Lo's entering the world.

If I set myself a new due date of April the 15th (42 weeks) and have done with it, then I have even more reason to try and forget about things!

my induction date will be 23 April. 19 days and thats the longest i am going to be pg for.

Well i am 39 weeks today, and they induce at term + 12....so 19 days. I am not overdue yet!

i think 08 april is a cool day to be born... 08/04/08

well thats my hospitals rules anyway, some do 10, some 14.

Oh my, if they let me go 10 days over my LO will not be here until May 2nd. LO seems to be moving alot at the minute while I am typing so may be he/she has no intention of coming out.

I kind of thought 04/04/08 was a really cool date! or wishfull thinking
