VS I had no idea bloody hell that must have been a right shock! You have to remember that this one you have really wanted and have planned for and are waiting with batted breath for so I am sure it will just like with DS x
sending "have the baby over the weekend vibes" to peachy it all sounds promising so hopefully......

Congrates to Denny, Sal and BV and good luck Aprilfool they are coming thick and fast now!

Well I had my last day yesterday wahoooooo my boss is such a plonker i worked through lunch so ate nothing until I got home I even left 1/2 late to make sure the replacement knew everything and was ok I then went up to say good bye to my boss (who I have worked for for nearly 2 years) and he shook my hand and said after you have had the baby we all must go out for a leaving dinner ummmm hello I will have JUST HAD A BABY!!!!!! he never even contributed to my leaving gift! The 4 people I work with got me a lovely pen and writing book and some Gap gift vouchers (which I shall be hot footing to Gap to spend today as they have a 1/2 price sale) Right I have a midwife app at 9.15 and I am still in my pjs so best get to it will check in later to see how your all getting on

AussieDivaOnABreak · 04/04/2008 08:44

Morning ladies!

First huge congrats to Sal on her new arrival, and the imminent arrival of AprilFool's little bundle. It's all starting to kick off now, how exciting - I know the rest of us just wish it was us!

Carey - I don't know why but my other half is behaving the same way. It's almost as if this is his way of dealing with the waiting. I only wish he would deal with it in a cuddly, let me massage your back can I make you another cup of tea don't even think of doing the laundry kind of way. As opposed to the disappearing to the study never to emerge until long after I've fallen asleep do I even have a husband kind of way.

What a horrible way to start the morning.
-deep breath-
Let's start again shall we?

The good news is I'm not doing this trip to Dorset today - way too many risks and especially hearing about all these fast labours I really didn't fancy the stress of giving birth on the M3 - so DH has gone on his own and we're going to do a webcam meeting instead. I've also arranged for my dd to play all day at her friend's so I'll have the house all to myself! Whoooo hooooo!!!!!!

Carey87 · 04/04/2008 12:17

Aussie - I know, all I wanted last night was a really big cuddle! I sent him a realy shitty email and he replied and is now only half a twat

anyone else have props getting on all morning?

Hey

Still pg here, 39 weeks today, feel normal and fine, think i may have a touch of thrush though I am getting very impatient now and want her here!!

People keep ringing me asking if she is here yet, and i'm not due for a week today...arrgghh!

scorpio1 · 04/04/2008 12:21

yeah have only just got on, trying since 9.30 am

Peachy · 04/04/2008 12:22

It's been crashed all morning yes

Dh being gitty over me being late, seems to blame me! gets stressed about me sitting down when i'm shattered and instead of cuddles he just pokes baby and says 'when are you coming out then'- really starting to annoy me! Ia sked if he was angry with me but he didn't reply.

Sister is getting edgy now as well.... am 40+5 today. DS3 was born at 40+6, if this goes beyond that i will be a mess!

scorpio1 · 04/04/2008 12:23

tis not your fault Peachy!! Dh here getting impatient too.

Peachy · 04/04/2008 12:27

I think too many people built plans for weekends, funerals, time off etc assuming I would be on time (DS3 was late by my dates, not by hospital scan dates)- I kept trying to point out that was silly but do people ever listen?!

scorpio1 · 04/04/2008 12:29

I wish i had more plans...might get her out!! Have lots i want to do tomorrow; sod's law i bet....if this was my last pg i would have had her tonight at 3am...suits me!!

Boiled eggs for lunch i think...have weirdly lost all appetite the last few days, and Millie is very quiet.

AussieDivaOnABreak · 04/04/2008 12:30

I didn't realise how often I looked at MN until this morning - the site is only down three hours and I'm like...so what do I do now???

Peachy I've been holding on to the whole second and third babies always come early myth, which you are steadfastly refusing to stick to! Have you thought about asking for a sweep early?

Peachy · 04/04/2008 12:33

Can't have early sweep for policy reasons, but MW only works mon-fri anyway so wouldn't have time to arrange it (it's about 3 weeks to get to see anyone round here!)

Reckon ds3 is putting something in my breakfast, every day DH or the boys ask if baby can come today and he says 'morrow (tomorrow) LOL- however he is being extremely cute and cuddly today so I'll let him get away with it

Mollyfloss · 04/04/2008 12:36

Morning ladies! Hope you are all well today. I have yet to catch up on yesterdays news. I had a bit of my own drama yesterday. I was stuck down on the tube in a tunnel for over 3 hours! The train just stopped mid-tunnel and the driver had no communication with the outside world for most of this time. It was packed and very hot. People panicked a little after a couple of hours because the driver still had no communication with anyone and they starting wondering what was going on above... Eventually, rescue came and we were escorted off the back of the train, along the tracks and out. Apparently, the tracks went down on the whole line and all the trains on it had to be evacuated. I was in there from 6pm to 9.15 and the friend I was supposed to meet at 6.15pm alerted my DH and they started searching for me everywhere. He heard the Jubilee line was down but the tube staff had told him noone was stuck down there (even though hundreds were!) so he had started calling the police, hospitals, friends etc. He and my friends were in a terrible state of worry by the time I got out. If only the Tube staff had their information correct a lot of drama & stress could have been prevented. I was fine anyway, just a bit overheated, hungry and can you imagine 3 hours without a loo at this stage!

scorpio1 · 04/04/2008 12:37

OMG molly!! are you ok?? i bet your dh was really worried too.

ThePFJ · 04/04/2008 13:11

Hugs Molly.. what a place to be stuck with a baby on the way!

Still no baby here. You and me must be destined to wait Peachy.
Which sucks arses really.
But hey ho and so on.

I have been very angry and upset this morning about it all. Must try and get my zen hat back on but I just can't. Baby is pushing on all my bits so heavily now I think my insides are going to fall out everytime I change position or get up to walk. Tis very very painful.

I can't wait to see MW on monday and talk about induction.
If I could sleep until then to make it come quicker I would.

Mollyfloss · 04/04/2008 13:11

I'm fine, I didn't really panick at all although a lot of people around me gave me concerned looks and were asking when I was due. It was like something out of a film when you're exepecting the preggers woman to pop!. The real worry and drama was with my DH and friends. I was supposed to meet a friend at 6.15 at Waterloo to go to another friends for dinner. Not having any news from me until 9.15pm was terrible for them considering I'm 9 months pregnant. If only TFL had told them people were stuck on the Jubilee line they would have pretty much known that I got caught there on the way to Waterloo. Instead they were ringing ever hospital in London, police etc. By the time I rang my DH he was literally crying with relief.

Congrats Bunyan and Sal!!!! Hope all is going well for Aprilsfool. The babies are coming fast and furious now. I still feel like this one isn't coming for quite some time...

scorpio1 · 04/04/2008 13:22

Whinge alert: I just want to go to sleep.....

Oh and where is Ellie?

sagitta · 04/04/2008 13:24

Molly- that's terrible, it must have been horrible. 3 hours without a toilet and feeling hot is my idea of hell at the moment!

I do feel for you overdue ladies. I went to 42+1 last time and know all about being overdue...
but at least my freezer was rammed full of cake by the time I finally went to hospital!

ThePFJ · 04/04/2008 13:27

Thanks sagitta. xxx

KnitterInTheNW · 04/04/2008 13:36

I don't think Ellie is popping, she sent me a mesage on facebook just after 9 this morning.

Congratulations and welcome to all the new babies and their families!

scorpio1 · 04/04/2008 13:37

oh i was getting excited.

KnitterInTheNW · 04/04/2008 13:39

Sorry!

scorpio1 · 04/04/2008 13:41

Back to school for them on Monday and if i am still pg all the mums are going to be going on and on and on about it.....

ThePFJ · 04/04/2008 13:45
