Roca - I've had a runny tummy for about 5 days now. Morning sickness / afternoon tiredness just starting to creep up on me now, too.

I too have updated the list as my scan date had gone.
Sorry to hear from the people who are still feeling bad.
My sickness comes and goes worse than with DS but still doesn't stop me eating - Although I'm not sure that is such a good thing!
DH and I have just won £20 on the National - it has made my day.

Hi, just checking in to see how you are all doing, been feeling really queesy, a lot like motion sickness really, I find myself holding onto things like the door and wall when I'm walking around - I haven't done much this week apart from lie on the sofa because the sicky feeling lasts until late in the day... you should see my house, it looks like a bombs hit it!, oh well, I can do a huge spring clean when I'm feeling up to it.

Pinkyminky, I think we shocked quite a few people with our news, it amazes me how many people think it's quite in order to ask if the baby was planned!, you should see the look on their faces when I tell them we've been trying since November!.

Re fish oils- normal cod liver oil pills contain vitamin A which you should avoid because it can cause birth defects. Fish oils that do not contain vitamin A are a good idea.
Yes runny tum is yes another delightful symptom of pregnancy!

Hi Browny- I think it's fab. I'd have loved a big family but we started a bit late- so three will have to suffice!
I have just started feeling loads better, hence the big tidy up today. I'm shattered now.

have been taking someone on here's advice and eating just before sleep and i do think its helping with the nausea! im also craving orange juice but not sure if this is too acidy and will make it worse??

Well, sickness bloody awful atm, mainly in the evenings actualy, i am having to snack all the time. Dp is convinced that this is something I just have to "get through in order to get something we both want", Yes i agree but it is too much to ask for a bit of bloody sympathy in the meantime?!
Havng said that he is taking dd and Spook (weimaraner) off my hands for an hour this morning, and what am i going to do with it? wash the bloody floors that's what sigh
Dp and I won £13.00 on the national yesterday with Comply or die

Does anyone on here suffer from IBS? Ive had abdominal pain on and off for about 2 years and a scan showed no ovarian cysts or appendicitis etc. Ive had constant localised pain in the same place as before pregnancy and checking google keeps throwing up IBS. Def worse since pregnant and Im worried doctor wont take me seriously and call it stretching pains, def not stretching pains.

Heartmum2jamie and anyone else who knows the Staffordshire area - can I ask for some advice, please?

We're in the process of selling our house and want to move to a completely new area. We've found a couple of places we really like but they are in Shropshire - the problem is that my eldest goes to college in Stafford and will have a bit of a journey every day if we move to Shropshire. So, the sensible thing to do would be to move to the Stafford area. Trouble is, I don't know Stafford at all well and couldn't tell which are the preferable areas within Stafford or where the good schools are. Can anyone help?!

Morning all! Creena - can't help with the Stafford info - I'm in Herts and we had snow this morning - melting now but enough to chuck a couple of snowballs at my DD.

Boobs are giving it some this morning - am 8 wks tomorrow - yay! Dr receptionist 'blocked' me booking an appt with the dr and told me just to come straight to MW at 11 wks so until then I won't have seen anyone. Think I may go to see DR next week though just to make contact.

We also woke to snow this morning - made a snowman in the garden which was so bloody tiring (but worth it though!) I am really worried about divedaisy have thought about her so much this weekend and I really hope she is ok.....

Serendippity, I can't believe you had the energy to clean your floors, if I was left alone for an hour, I'd go back to bed!.

I believe you were up my neck of the woods (Merseyside) the other week, we had a little snow this morning which looked lovely but didn't last, we took our dog for a walk this afternoon and the sleet came down thick and fast, it was freezing... now I'm home I still can't get warm!

Mummyhill, yes Jammy is lovely and her dd's are very cute, my ds2 is besotted with her dd1 .

we had about 3 inches of snow in east sussex. Made snowman with ds, first time he's every played in snow so very cute!

What are you guys taking for nausea that is working?? Im getting worse every day. Im 7 weeks tomorrow. Its really bad. Can barely get up to get ds lunch sometimes.

Creena, I know a little about Stafford, but can all point to a member who lives there so should be able to give you some info (Willmouse, can be found on a thread in conception called Bonkers Anonymous...). I think the better area's of stafford include places like Walton-on the Hill. There are some lovely places just on the outskirts of Stafford, like Milford, Brocton, Tixall (more rural), Acton Trussle. Thankfully transport links are pretty good into Stafford with the M6, buses and railservices. Like you, the places that I seem to like are more in Shropshire, but we are pretty much tied to this sort of area due to dh's job for now.

Also worried about Divedaisy here, I hope that all is ok and it is something like computer issues keeping her from posting.

Feeling pretty good here, am 10 weeks tomorrow . I have nearly made it to double digits, a whole 1/4 of the way into my pregnancy, it's going fast, but slow at the same time. I also cleaned floors yesterday. Good think I did as have a touch of sciatica now, oh joy!
