posted last night and hid name- have been feeling very very worried but am making an effort to chill now and stop worrying myself. am not lurking anymore cos just wanna share my happiness!!

Am 27 DH 28 married in December ttc 15 months DD 4 from previous relationship. Finally zita wested it this month and got a BFP!!!

Feel a bit funny in tummy area- need to wee a lot and bit achey but hoping thats normal. Am 4+1 today. Boobs hurt too but will feel reassured when sickness starts!! Have done 10 tests so far and at the docs tomorrow.

I'm finding it sooooooooooooo hard to keep my trap shut!!

have told my mum and the in laws and a handful of friends. thats it but its killing me!!!

My thinking is that I have only told people who know what we have been through ttc (very painful) and people who I know will support me if something goes wrong.

Everyone I know knows. But I do alot of heavy lifting at work so I have had to tell people.

We weren't going to start trying until May. But once I felt broody that was it.

I have had to tell a few people at work cos of the heavy lifting.

Feel bad telling people so early but it is literally only 10 people that know!!

Have bitten the bullet and added myself. eek!!

OMG- Anyone suddenly showing already? Today I just suddenly look about 3 months gone! Since I'm small and slim it's quite noticeable.

This is my 3rd pg, 1st time I was nearly 6 months before showing, 2nd time about 10 weeks, surely I can't be showing yet? My belly button has also gone from being an 'inny' to 'level' so won't be long before it pops out !

WOW!! We have a bump!!!
I am not showing yet I showed really early with ds as I was so slim but as I am now fat overweight I don't know when I will show. I think having a bump makes it seem so much more real.

No bump just bloated and farting like crazy I got terrible wind last time too, remember being in bed massaging my tummy and farting away. Kind of like the burping scene in Willy Wonka but with a deflating tummy instead

My mum said that I had a bit of a belly last night - I'm hoping she meant a baby related bump and not just an addition from all the food I've been scarfing

Although, anything sweet makes me want to throw up, so at least I know that all that food is healthy!

Anyway, had a horrid night last night as I've come down with the inevitable cold (got quite a few with ds as well). I'm going to call in sick to work today, as I think it's unfair of me to spread the germs around the office, and then I'll study or sleep away my day.

Don't forget me from the list - 21st Dec - 3rd dc!

I've told my mum and sis - and dp obviously. Will wait until after my CVS results before I tell anyone else - mind you I started showing early with dd2 - so depends if I can 'breathe in'

I think work will be well happy - not! I have had 2 full years off on maternity leave since the end of 2004 - and will be taking all of 2009 off!

I'm having aches at the sides - I am assuming this is 'ligament stretching' had it the last times (though secretly crapping it that it is an ectopic) looking forward to the scan to see everything is where it should be and there is a heartbeat!

I've added you hotmama. I'm having the same pains as you describe so that's put my mind at ease a little. I've never found out so early before- it's going to be such a long wait till that first scan.

Morning Ladies,

DH had to get up early for work so DS decided he wanted to get up too. So we have been awake since half 5. I'm absolutly knackered.

I hope everyone else is feeling well and the sickness isn't too bad.

I feel for you, kayz. Until recently my DD got up at 5:00-5:30 EVERY morning! The last couple of days she's given us a lie in until 6am, which is great , but I'm not sure how long it will last. Horrid being up mega early when you're tired anyway from being pg though.

Well, I'm off to my u/s this morning and really nervous. I think everything's fine - but then I thought that when I had my missed m/cs, so there's just no telling. Have to start drinking up to get my bladder full (I HATE that part!). At the hospital where I had DD, they didn't get you to do that and it was so much better. I suppose this hospital must just have much older equipment or something... anyway wish me luck!

Good luck Verso. Let us know how you get on. I hated that last time. Its so horrible having to drink loads and then not being able to go to the loo.

DS is normally ok, but when DH is on early starts he normally gets up at the same time as DH which is normally about half 5.

We haven't told anyone - if the 9 week scan is okay we'll tell our parents then. I usually like to keep things low key.

Did another test this morning it's darker argh it's a long time until the scan (I won't be 4 weeks until Sunday).

I also posted this about my little psychic granny guessing I was pregnant straight away ...

You know like my bellies quite swollen the doctor asked me if theres any history of twins in my family yesterday!!

I said no, not on my side but DHs side is full of them. But she said it only carries on the womans side

So any ways I rang my granny to tell her I had been to the doctors, I was about to tell her what the doctor said about twins when she started before me ... she said 'you know I went to a Tarot reader a long time ago and she told me we would have twins in the family, I was past children and thought it was daft but thn the tarot reader said 'its not going to be in your generation, maybe not even your childrens, but even lower down'

Uhhh so that would be my generation then granny?!

I laughed nervously!

I could dismiss tarot readers but the fact one told me a week ago I would be pregnant and give birth within 12 months is quite scary!!

I have 2 kids under 4 already, I don't need 4 under 5!! lol

Disenchanted I have 2 children aged 3 and 1. If I am having twins I will have to emigrate. I am apparently half a twin myself, as my mum had a huge bleed at about 2 months and then at 5months discovered she was still pg. I really would not know what to do if there are 2 in there.

Had 12 hours sleep. Feel awful. Bit sick, very tired, smell in overdrive. Will have to take it easy as am working tomorrow.

Tell me about it, I always wanted twins ... before I had a single baby and realised how hard it is with 1!! Now I dunno what I would do!

I would love twins. I don't know why. I jave just always wanted twins. But there aren't any in our families.
