MuppetMugle am doing fine hun, just finding it hard to believe really. Have you been to doc to confirm what has happened ? You must be incredibly strong to be coping so well.

LobsterLass still have a couple more tests to use up, one of which is a CBD, am not sure what I am saving that for ! DP has not idea I had a stash of loads of HPTs and still keep testing Grin. Am just making sure !

majormoo · 12/04/2008 20:34

muppetmuggle sorry to hear your news.

nandos I agree it would be worth getting it checked out, although all sorts of aches and pains are common in pregnancy.

mibbes glad I am not the only one doing extra tests just to be sure.

I am shattered today but not sure if this a longed for symptom or a day spend sorting out the kids toys to try to get rid of some. We had a friend round late afternoon and I was so tired I could barely speak!

TheMuppetMuggle · 12/04/2008 20:43

mibbles got docs appointment monday which i'll prob give for DD as i think she has conjuntivitus and a chest infection, but i know whats happened so not alot the doc can do about it so i'll prob just cancel it, unless i'm still bleeding alot and got cramp, but it has subsided alot since thursday.

georgiepig · 12/04/2008 21:12

muppetmuggle - just wanted to say really sorry to hear your news Sad I've been there myself, pre-DD and know how you must feel. Take good care

georgiepig · 12/04/2008 21:14

We took DD to the zoo today - I was so envious of the lemurs basking in the sun - was desperate to join them as felt knackered Smile. Apart from tiredness, I feel a lot less pg than I did with DD

IceCube · 12/04/2008 22:33

Is there room for me on this thread, got a bfp last Thurs and I think it's just sinking in. We only started trying in February and were assuming it would take ages/bracing ourselves for any problems conceiving.

Think I'm due 18th Dec and this will be my first so please add me to the list, maybe that will make it seem a bit more real?!

LobstersLass · 12/04/2008 22:49

Hi IceCube, welcome to our thread!

I know exactly what you mean about it not seeming real.

This is my first too and I'm still not convinced that it's happening!

chinchi · 13/04/2008 08:12

Sorry Ive been abit scatty in posting over the past few days- had bleeding on Thursday night, so had a scan and gave blood Friday.

Im too early for the scan to show anything, but going back to hospital in an hour to give more blood and Ill get the results tomorrow.

Bleeding had stopped until lastnight when I noticed a drop about the size of a 50p, but nothing else since! So I was in bed by 7.30 lastnight getting some rest Smile Touch wood no bleeding this morning, just my first bout of feeling sick! Boobs seem to be slowly inflating too!

xx

kayzisexpecting · 13/04/2008 08:24

Morning Everyone.

I am exhausted already this morning and feeling sick. I am still feeling fat today. I think I am giving in to cravings to much. I am only going to eat healthy from now on

chinchi I hope its nothing to worry about and that the doctors can reassure you.

IceCube Welcome and congratulations. This is my second and if I wasn't extremely tired and feeling queasy most of the time, I wouldn't believe I was pregnant.

Hope everyone is feeling ok.

nandos · 13/04/2008 09:02

Thx for the reassurance and advice ladies ..especially artichokes, majormoo and kayzisexpecting Smile Im sorry if i made some of u worried. when i wrote the msg yesterday... abt 1/2 hr after that, the pain suddenly disappear. Blush

artichokes · 13/04/2008 11:29

Morning all

Glad you are feeling better Nandos.
Welcome IceCube.
Chinchi I hope the hospital have good news for you Smile.

I am feeling a bit pants today. Exhausted and a little nauseated. We are going for a big Sunday lunch with loads of friends from work who I cannot tell. Normally I would look forward to it but I just want to lie on the sofa under a big blanket and watch Charlie and Lola with DD (well actually I would like to watch other things, but that NEVER happens).

Hope everyone else is having nice Sundays. I have my appointment to tell the GP tomorrow.

TheMuppetMuggle · 13/04/2008 12:32

Glad you are feeling better nandos, welcome newbies Smile

Hope everyone enjoys their sunday afternoon xx

Verso · 13/04/2008 12:59

DD's birthday today (hurrah!) but I am feeling spectalarly pants too. I have a reeeeeeely sore throat and have almost completely lost my voice. No sleep the last two nighte because of the pain. I saw the out-of-hours doc today after DH spoke to NHS direct on my behalf - he called me in so he could prescribe something soothing for the pain (a pharmacist wouldn't do it in 'my condition')... but then when I was actually there, he said "I could prescribe you something... but it's up to you... and given your history..."

so I'm back on the paracetamol gargles and waiting for the pharyngitis (sounds better than a sore throat!) to pass. Sympathy please!

(P.S. Gargling with TCP is NOT to be recommended with MS)

nandos · 13/04/2008 14:11

Hi Muppetmuggle,
how are u doing right now? hope everything is ok..

Mina30 · 13/04/2008 17:55

Mina (brum chick)

artichokes · 13/04/2008 19:12

Hi Mina, welcome. I have a friend called Mina whose sister is called Leila! How weird is that?

TheMuppetMuggle · 13/04/2008 19:13

Hi Nandos, i still feel like i've got the weight of the world on my shoulders, and slightly alone with how i feel, as Lee is being kinda distant but its just the way he's dealing with it to. i still feel tearful but i'm okay.

How you feeling today?
Verso Happy Birthday to your DD Grin
welcome Mina Smile

nandos · 13/04/2008 19:32

Hi Mina, welcome Smile

btw im 26 n no kids yet, been married for nearly 5 yrs. no profile cos' im quite a shy person..really Blush
i absolutely feel nothing today, really pushing my patience to the extreme due to the long waiting appt date Hmm..im so impatient..

Verso · 13/04/2008 22:40

Hey Mina - my DD was three today so our children have the same age gap! Smile

Just back from the hospital after having trouble breathing tonight (v scary - I don't have asthma or anything). Sent me home with penicillin and strict instructions to go straight to A&E tonight if my breathing gets that bad again. I feel officially pants.

MrsMattie · 14/04/2008 08:38

Morning all. Welcome to Mina and IceCube.

Still feeling very nauseous, but haven't actually been sick all weekend, which is a blessed relief. I desperately need to go and buy some new clothes, particularly undies, as my bust seems to have doubled in size in the last fortnight!

Hope you're all OK this morning. Very sunny here in London, which is lifting my mood Smile

kayzisexpecting · 14/04/2008 08:49

Morning Everyone.

I am still so tired. I've only just got up and I already feel tired. But I have stopped feeling sick. Knowing my luck though it will come back next week when I'm on holiday.

Verso, I hope you feel better today.

Hope everyone is all right and has had good weekends.

ChutneyMary · 14/04/2008 12:45

Kayz - you and I are chatting on the other thread. Smile Where is everyone else? I am at work and have achieved precisely nothing this morning so far. Oh, look, lunchtime, so now out to buy something tasty to stuff my face with whilst I still fancy food. GrinHad a very nauseous episode yesterday in Sainsbury's but feeling OK ish now.

Mrs Mattie, I didn't realise you were a londoner too! Whereabouts are you - I am South East London. And which hospital are you going to? Delights of KCH for me alas. Rang the Dr this am for getting in the system but she isn't available til next Wed. How will I last?!

Hope you are all well and happy.

kayzisexpecting · 14/04/2008 12:47

I dunno Chutney. I'm trying to get through to NHS direct but all I get is terrible music.

ChutneyMary · 14/04/2008 12:54

Ring the labour ward at St Thomas' hospital - 0208 7188 7188. They won't know you're not one of theirs! Might be easier to get through.

kayzisexpecting · 14/04/2008 12:55

I rang the EPU at Scarborough(after finding the number it was well hidden) and they said it's an implantation bleed and nothing to worry about.
