mibbes · 11/04/2008 19:59

So sorry to hear your news TheMuppetMuggle Sad {{{hugs}}}
Nolda I've never heard of silver tea ! I've been having less green tea and 'transparent tea' (hot water), I'm glad I'm not the only over-cautious paranoid PG lady Blush
kayz am Shock at your MIL reaction !
tash why is your mum so unhappy about you having children ?
I know for a fact that PILs and my parents will hit the roof with excitement, can't wait to tell them in 2.5 weeks. I feel so bad for you getting bad reactions Sad
Congrats georgiepig and welcome to the thread Smile
Mattie am no longer envious of ms, sounds horrendous.

Well hosptial called today with an alternative booking in appt for next week - hurray ! I have also booked a private scan for 2 weeks today [scared and excited emoticon]. Still no ms here, in fact even my AF cramps have subsided so feel totally non-PG Hmm

kayzisexpecting · 11/04/2008 20:09

I felt totally not pregnant with ds. I didn't really believe it until I had my scan

mibbes · 11/04/2008 20:37

Thanks for that kayz makes me feel better. I am terrfied I go for the scan and they can't find the anything, I feel like a fraud !

kayzisexpecting · 11/04/2008 20:39

I was scared there would be nothing there too and literally 2 days after my scan I woke up with a bump. It was very wierd as I was showing quite early.

hiccymapops · 11/04/2008 21:21

MuppetMuggle i'm so so sorry Take care of yourself xxx

kayz sorry about your MIL Angry Don't let her ruin this for you!

mibbes i took far too many pregnancy tests the first time, and i was absolutely convinced and petrified there wouldn't be anything on the scan. Apart from a bit of backache i didn't feel any different!

Hope everyone's feeling okay xx

bcsnowpea · 11/04/2008 21:26

Wooh, it took me a long time to catch up on all that posting! This has become a very busy thread indeed Smile.

I hope all the vomiting ladies get a bit of a break. At the moment I'm queasy all day long, which is quite distracting. I feel sorry for dh, every time he asks how I am, he gets a long list of grievances. Oh well, he put up with me during the first pg Smile.

Oooh, and it looks like i have a pregnancy partner! The receptionist at my work is due the day after me!

kayzisexpecting · 12/04/2008 08:18

Morning all,

I also have a pregnancy partner. One of my friends is due on the same day as me.Smile

Still feel queasy. Why is it called morning sickness when I feel sick nearly all day?

Hope everyone is feeling ok.

MrsMattie · 12/04/2008 08:20

Morning all.

MuppetMuggle - I'm so very sorry to hear you news. Have you been to the hospital? i had a miscarriage last year and it was very upsetting. If you n eed to talk I am here.

kutilputil and theyoungvisitor (a.k.a my morning sickness buddies) - how are you both today? I wasn't quite as dreadful yesterday, but was still pretty grim. I'm sipping ginger tea this morning in a last ditch attempt to ease the nausea.

Thanks for all your sympathies, ladies Smile. makes me feel a tiny bit better..xx

ChutneyMary · 12/04/2008 08:30

Glad to hear you are feeling better Mrs M. I find wine gums quite good, esp when you are out and about.

MuppetMuggle, I am so sorry to hear your news. Take care.

TheMuppetMuggle · 12/04/2008 08:59

Thanks Ladies, i had abit of an emotional breakdown yesterday (which is not me i'm stronger than that) is still feel crampy but i'm holding up so far.

I'll keep an eye on how you are all doing Smile

xx

Bisou · 12/04/2008 09:59

Hi sevgi. Yes I think this may be a pregnancy thing. I find my tummy is a bit more delicate too. I can't eat as much, which is weird. I was the same last pg as well.

LobstersLass · 12/04/2008 17:10

Well I still don't feel pregnant. The only symptoms I have are:
a) positive pregnancy test
b) constipation - which I suffer from periodically anyway.

However, I'm not complaining!!

I just hope that everything is alright inside there.

theyoungvisiter · 12/04/2008 18:43

MrsMattie - so pleased to hear you are feeling better today! I am not feeling quite as rubbish as you I think - it comes and goes more with me.

kutilputil - hope you are hanging in there too!

I did do my most spectacular sickup yet (which I am actually perversely quite proud of!) I was cycling on my bike and halfway up a huge hill I started to feel sick and begin to retch. But I didn't want to stop because you know when you lose the momentum it's so awful starting up again on a really steep hill. Anyway I got nearly to the top and realised I was actually going to be sick, and managed to lean over to the side and sick up mid-cycle without getting it on my coat! All the practice first time round evidently helped Grin

Muppetmuggle - so sorry to hear your news - please take care of yourself...

TheMuppetMuggle · 12/04/2008 18:59

Hi All

I've got a strong support around me i'll be fine Smile

Well done theyoungvisitor for not getting it on your coat lol x

nandos · 12/04/2008 19:07

Hi everyone,
not feeling so well whole day today Sad my tummy is aching ..near bellybutton but slightly off-centre.
it doesnt feel like cramping, more like ache n pain and its very uncomfortable Sad
if no pain(0) to extreme pain is(10), i would say its 5
wht do u think ladies..should i see a doc or is it normal at this stage? 7 weeks now and i fear the worst is going to happen Blush

artichokes · 12/04/2008 19:18

Nandos - try not to worry there are all sorts of strange pains in pregnancy. However, if I were you then I might go and get it checked just to rule out ectopic. I think any sharp abdominal pain in pregnancy should be checked out ASAP because an ectopic can get very dangerous very quickly. When I was pregnant with DD I got a very sharp pain in my left hand side and went to the hospital on Boxing Day. They did a transvaginal scan just to check. It turned out I was fine Smile. I hope the same is true for you but I would get it checked. I hope you feel better soon.

kayzisexpecting · 12/04/2008 19:22

Hi all.

theyoungvisitor thats great how did you manage that. I know I would get it all over myself.

nandos It can be normal to have cramping in early pregnancy. Its your uterus expanding and getting you ready for pregnancy. But you can always go to the doctors and see what they say or give NHS direct a ring.

MuppetMuggle I'm glad you have strong support around you. Make sure you take good care of yourself.

Its really wierd but I have felt pregnant today. Been really tired, my back aches and I am having a fat day.

mibbes · 12/04/2008 19:38

MuppetMuggle sounds like you are coping admirably.
youngv LOL at cycle-spew !
LobsterLass IKWYM, I keep having to remind myself then thinking I'll feel really silly if they can't find anything at the scan Blush. Did another HPT today just to check and am still PG !
kayz I have had mildly sore back on and off, maybe that is my first proper symptom ! Also felt very tired last night and fell asleep at 9pm on the sofa then slept through until 9.30am and have been yawning all day ! I am usually full of energy Hmm

TheMuppetMuggle · 12/04/2008 19:41

Nandos i agree you should go and get checked out just to be on safe side.

Kayz lol @ your fat day, hope your back doesn't ache to long.

mibbles how you doing?

LobstersLass · 12/04/2008 19:44

Mibbes PMSL at you doing another test. But only because I've been banned from doing any more! Blush Grin
