I have a recipe for a chocolate cake with hazelnuts that I learnt to make on my cookery course.......................

ThePFJ · 29/03/2008 00:00

Arghhh... those chocolate pics are driving me crazy!!!

Before I go to bed jennie, I agree. Everytime I take a stroll outside I get so tired and breathless so fast, and then wonder how on EARTH I am going to have the stamina to go through labour.
It's not nearly as bad when I am pottering around the house doing chores at my own pace though, so I console myself with that fact.
And with chocolate. LOTS of chocolate!

xxx night all xxx

I have a terrible cold at the moment, so can't taste anything. I tried a choccolate egg yesterday - nothing!! it's really awful if you can't even taste CHOCOLATE!

Peachy · 29/03/2008 09:32

Ah carey, lampeter- i'm near cardiff / Newport so another welsh resident - know well of Lampeter as am finishing one of their RE degrees through Newport Uni, chap next door used to lecture tehre.

eva07 · 29/03/2008 09:34

which direction to drive? I think we might have passed lampeter on one of our wales expeditions , sounds familiar

eva07 · 29/03/2008 09:35

Carey87 · 29/03/2008 09:35

Morning Eva - had period pains all night and sharp enough pains where baby on cervix now to make me jump off sofa yelping (more activity than I've had in days LOL ) so just waiting and seeing now!.

How are you all?

eva07 · 29/03/2008 09:44

terrible cold, sniffing and sneezing all the time plus a kidney infection. can't do anything at the moment so DP's doing all the household things

can't be long now, right? sounds like your DS4 will be here soon.

eva07 · 29/03/2008 09:46

by the way: congrats to knitter and TMP. both your birthstories made me cry...
and hope vacaloca's doing ok!

Mum2b2BabyRoo · 29/03/2008 09:49

Morning all - Chipmonkey I want that recipe! Sounds delish!

I've only ever been to Cardiff but I saw a programme about some folk wanting to live by the sea in Wales the other day and it looks really beautiful - we will def make a plan to go this summer!

My bump is so huge and so heavy now that I feel really dragged down by it. I can only sleep on one side now (my left so I guess that's good) as when I try sleep on my other side I just can't breathe! Baby is suffocating me!!!

ThePFJ · 29/03/2008 10:52

Morning everyone!

Rainbowdays are you there? And are you ok?
I suspect she may have had her baby already girls... if you remember in the week she had an 'almost' complete labour, and she is expected to deliver in March not April.

We'll have to see I suppose.

My nose is running like a tap this morning.
Still no signs of baby yet for me either.
Bugger.

Mollyfloss · 29/03/2008 11:02

Morning all,

Hope you are all well. I finally posted pictures of the baby's room on my profile page. Right, I'll go back and catch up on yesterdays news. Seems to have been a lot going on!

eva07 · 29/03/2008 11:12

wow, that's really cute molly!

Mollyfloss · 29/03/2008 11:34

Thanks Eva! It's sort of silly going to so much bother as the baby won't carre where she sleeps. I've never given much time to doing up a room before but I really liked getting all the stuff for this one. you'd never guess I'm having a girl

Just caught up on yesterdays threads. Have to say my DH has been an absolute pet throughout the pg. He's very good at the little things like fetching me stuff from the kitchen, putting on my flight socks before I go to bed (cos I can't reach) etc. It is going to be strange when the LO arrives and there will be three of us. DH said it's scary having such a huge responsibility but 'good scary'. I've even got him to read the first few chapters of 'what to expect the first year'.

Mollyfloss · 29/03/2008 11:35

In fact the baby will be sleeping in our room for the first 6 months anyway, so she really won't care!

ThePFJ · 29/03/2008 11:55

Molly the room is lovely.
Well done you!

Peachy · 29/03/2008 12:39

Molly, ds3 is pointing at the screen saying 'be-bee, nice yea'- which emans what a nce room for a baby, I think!

northeastmummy · 29/03/2008 12:45

Oh Molly - your room is GORGEOUS. I feel really bad now. I've done nothing for this baby .
