The lastest advice I heard re peanut butter was the same as moominsmummy, and have been eating it throughout pg and will carry on whenever I fancy it whilst bfing too. And it was Dr Chris on Philip & Fern who told me too and he knows everything.

Thankyou to everyone saying George is Gorgeous, I'm glad you all agree!

I don't think I realised how much time I had on my hands a week ago and before, I was managing to keep up with everyone's stories and what was going on on here. Now I can manage a few lots of 5 mins a day which isn't time to catch up properly, so I apologise if I miss something.

scorpio1 · 28/03/2008 19:00

We don't mind Knitter - you have the scrummiest boy ever!

moominsmummy · 28/03/2008 19:18

No problem knitter although I do worry about early May when I'll be overdue and you'll have all had your babies - I'll be all alone on the thread...

Carey87 · 28/03/2008 19:26

moomin - ill be there with you im sure

I think we agreed to all stay here until we had all had our babies, so we could move to postnatal together.

DH is going out tonight and i don't want him to.

Peachy · 28/03/2008 19:29

Yep agree aboutt he peanut butter- laods of food allergies here and I try to keep up to date with it all. Have eaten throughout all pregnancies and although we have milk and gluten reactions, no peanut issues here at all!

Also a non-ironer- went to iron something for DH ages ago (can't even remember why that would have occurred to me!), and found no plug on iron; asked Dh why- said he'd borrowed it over a year ago LOL!

Dh being a gem now he's home- went for a walk and he built in a stop for a drink etc as he knows I cant walk for long, and was fetching me biccys etc all afternoon.

Had to LOL at hs manager though- asked him to confirm if baby would be ehre by Sunday as he wanted toa rrange cover if DH would be away.... this man is a Grandfather fgs! PMSL ! Talk about getting the whole EDD bit.....

Carey87 · 28/03/2008 19:32

thats good, i have finally cleaned everything in the house, nothing left to do now but put away clean clothes (7 loads of washing altogether and have decided to iron DP shirts tonight so that I have that lay in on Monday, oooo! actually I could just not have the car for the day!!! lay in!!!

I think moomin's more worried that we'll all be preoccupied with our babies than that we're going to "officially" abandon the thread...

Carey87 · 28/03/2008 19:41

oh~! gotchya now! moomin - never ever - promise!

OP posts:
scorpio1 · 28/03/2008 19:42

I will post during the 3am feed, lol!

bunnyrabbit · 28/03/2008 19:42

Another non-ironer here. DH irons I do not.

I burn various parts of my body when I iron!!

ThePFJ · 28/03/2008 19:44

LOL Peachy at the plug on the iron! Sounds like something that would happen in this household.

My divorce came through today. Called my ex and we are both happy as punch.. if not a bit nostalgic.

Me and DP have made up.. as usual, but he's a bit miffed as he lovingly agreed not to go out tomorrow night, and his Friday night has been cancelled by his friends.. so now he is complaining he'll be bored all weekend!
Ha. WE ARE DUE TO HAVE A BABY DEAREST.
How bored do you think I get sitting here on my hippo sized arse waiting for LO to start arriving???!
I even offered him.. a night cuddling and such.. you know... but still he seems unmoved. BLEH.
Think its time to whap him on the ass with a hot poker.

Due date is Tuesday. And its almost Saturday if I go to bed now.
(It's like Christmas eve 'going to bed early to make it get here faster' hehehe.)

-passes around the cake she made with
vanilla ice cream to go on the side-
xxx

ThePFJ · 28/03/2008 19:45

Dont worry moomin I am going to try and stick around after LO arrives as much as I can!
HUG!

ThePFJ · 28/03/2008 19:47

BTW.. anyone heard from RainbowDays? Was thinking of her this morning.

Mum2b2BabyRoo · 28/03/2008 19:52

I will be here too moomin! Can't see this baby coming early!

Carey87 · 28/03/2008 20:07

seriously walking with legs wide open now! does this mean that baby has engaged?? please

OP posts:
moominsmummy · 28/03/2008 20:09

awww thanks everyone

i just remember when I was expecting DS and I was the last one in my antenatal group to have the baby - I felt like the only pregnant women left in the entire world!

by the way Peachy I wanted to say I have massive respect and awe for you - coping with DCs with SN - I know how hard it is not having a "normal" family life when DH is ill - people take it for granted that you can just pop to the shops with the kids etc - think you are amazing

ThePFJ · 28/03/2008 20:15

Probably Carey. I am bow leg central at the moment. My inner thighs are killing me. I can't sleep on my side without having to change from left to right every few hours as my hips start to ache so much, and my pelvis/hip area feels pretty 'crushed' to the point where I can't even walk sometimes.
Oh and my bladder is really taking a bashing now.
It does definately mean baby is getting lower and your ligaments/tendons in your thighs are being taxed as things get closer to Delivery day

Carey87 · 28/03/2008 20:23

Thank you PFJ, sounds silly but made me feel a lot better (at least I know that baby is kinda doing the rite thing ) my inner thighs are just getting to the point where they are aching when I sit down, dont notice the pain till I sit down which makes me want to walk around more, but cant walk as baby feels as if theres a piece of filter paper between it and the world!

PJF glad you made it up with DP. Mine has been a tw*t today too. Started a row with me cos I "looked at him" funny when he was making supper. Just cos I suggested frying the leftover veg in butter rather than microwaving it meant that I had obviously "come home from work in a bad mood" and when I started crying was obviously "hormonal because of the pregnancy and have been throughout the pregnancy".

He knows about mumsnet now so he keeps saying "slagging me off on mumsnet are you" which is usually followed by an impression of me slagging him off on the internet and "loads of women saying poor you isnt your husband evil"

4godSAKE!

ThePFJ · 28/03/2008 20:29

LOL jennie! It's the furious typing after an argument that does it me thinks :P

At least we praise our DP's as well as moan about them. I think its a tough time for both parents, and the waiting is hard. Bad moods are always most stressful on the one person you spend most of your time with.. your DP, and vice versa for him/or even her.

ThePFJ · 28/03/2008 20:31

Oh and I really HATE it when my DP says its the hormones so I MUST be wrong.
These are the moments when murder is definately on my MIND.

jenniejennie · 28/03/2008 20:37

Not sure I have praised my DH on here yet!! I only write about it when he has pee'd me off. It was lovely of him to make my tea at all, just annoyed that we argued. Grrrrrr. I hate the whole blame the hormones thing, bugs the hell outta me and makes me more hormonal!!

Just got chocolate out of kitchen baking cupboard, desperation. Trying to work on those hips to make sure baby is happy!!

ThePFJ · 28/03/2008 20:43

hehe.. pass me some jennie!

I have been thinking about how many hours I might be in labour... and wondering how knackering and horrifically painful this might be. Yay!

jenniejennie · 28/03/2008 20:59

I tried walking 300 metres today from my work to the restaurant I was going out to lunch. I was in so much pain in my legs etc that I really wonder how I am going to get through labour if I cant even get the energy to walk down the road. Useless.

Here have some chocolate
