Hello ladies, the last thread appeared to run out, I hope you all don't mind me being so bold as to start a new one?

She's 9+1 I think Bethoo.

tedmundo · 09/03/2008 17:15

Spink - please try not to worry tonight and get onto the phone to the midwife in the morning. She should refer you for a scan straightaway. Good luck with it and stay calm.

Afternoon all..

Spink - fingers crossed hoping everything is okay.

Feeling none too pregnant here anymore, not sick, no sore boobs, not too tired, maybe I've gotten so used to being tired that I think feeling like this is now normal.. I am thinking though that I've regressed back to my teenage years as I've so many spots!

Glad you're feeling better cantsleepwontsleep I had an awful flu bug a couple of weeks ago, there's nothing worse than blocked sinuses when sudafed is off the menu!

I've had a very non eventful weekend due to the car having broken down (joy of joys more money to spend grr) so went no-where, the weather has been terrible so haven't even been for a walk with the kids to the park and as it would have been a bog, DD1 has been going stir crazy and using myself and DH as her playthings to wind up and drive crazy, DD2 happy as a pig in poop spends most of the time dancing and nibbling books!

Phew well I think I've made up for a couple of days not dropping in!

Spink - fingers crossed for you also... I had the same a few weeks ago and the scan showed that everything was all right - just go in and get it checked, it is much better than waiting around and get more and more stressed about it.

Glad to hear that for many of you symptoms aer easing... I will now have a moan as mine are actually getting worse (10+3); had a rotten day yesterday and I just feel like eating stodge, and could not get myself to make it to te gym. AT this rate I will get huge...

AandMsmum · 09/03/2008 18:22

minervaitalica I'm 7+4 weeks so maybe the worse is to come,

Roast dinners are the best thing in the world I've decided, at the moment if you want comfort food that is not going to make you feel too guilty (that is of course unless you follow it up with apple pie and custard like I did mmmmm yummy..)

Hope all ok spink and that you get reassuring scan soon. I had spotting with dd and got early scan, all ok, think it's pretty common.

I've been like you bethoo - back ache and evening sickness.

accessorizequeen · 09/03/2008 21:26

I hope Spink is off getting a scan & everything is alright.
I'm already having to be v.careful with my back, rolling out of bed the right way etc. I've done my back in so I can hardly walk twice this week picking up ds2 carelessly etc. And I can't use the hip seat I don't think which was quite handy (quite a lot of pressure round the middle).

bethoo · 09/03/2008 21:58

to add to the tribulations of pregnancy i am also crampy but that could be the immense trapped wind and constipation. and also weeing every 30 secondss. nightmare as my toilet is downstairs by the bac door!!

SmudgeyDoodle · 09/03/2008 22:04

Just checking in. Spink I hope everything is ok. I'm planning on making my way to the doctors this week as 8 weeks on Tue. Feeling ok and managed not to have any chocolate for the last 3 days..saying that DH has just brought the choccie biccies through......

AandMsmum · 09/03/2008 22:40

I've not had any cramping, I did in my last pg, also I don't seem to need to wee very often.. If it wasn't for the BFP and the fact I fall asleep on the sofa at around 7.30 most nights I'd think I was imagining all of this!

hi ya ladies

bethoo how are you???
i had terrible cramps last night but i think it was just wind and the fact im not having much bowel movement

i stayed in bed nearly all of yesterday as i woke up with this awful feeling hanging over me then i had to run to the toilet on a number of occassions to throw like something possessed !!

the only thing that i could eat was walkers sensations chilli crisps yum yum

i am 11 weeks this week and cant wait til my scan !! 10 days to go

rach010 · 10/03/2008 08:50

Hi ladies

Can i join please?

I'm due 19th Oct with 2nd child (DS is 4). Really nervous as i had 2 MC last year so trying to take each day as it comes but i've had some brown blood but no pain, got an early scan tomorrow, don't know what to think? Feel like symptoms disappearing. I'm sooooo scared. Anyone got any reassuring stories??

Spink · 10/03/2008 09:21

hello, and welcome rach! there are lots and lots of really positive stories with people having brown discharge, and even red bleeding, and everything being absolutely fine.
I'll be crossing fingers for you that it'll be alright for you and your little one.

I don't think we'll be so lucky, spotting has turned into bleeding and clots and I've been having pretty painful cramps. I know I shouldn't give up hope completely but I think I just know.. I was advised to go to A&E last night but decided to go to the Gp this morning instead, so we've got an appointment in half an hour or so.
It has been really lovely to meet all of you, and I wish you all the very very best for the rest of your pgs. I'll be watching the birth announcements threads in Oct and looking out for you .

xxx

Spink - take care. be positive

i am pissed off as when i bumped int omw she said not to book in til i was 10 weeks and i have just rang up to book in only to be told she is so busy and the next available space is 7 april so i will be 14 weeks and will miss my dating scan so for all i know i could have had another mm/c!! thank goodness i have my doppler which i can start looking ofr hb soon. the receptionist said she would speak to mw to see if they can fit me in anywhere as i am 10 weeks today. i wonder if i can ring hospitla direct and explain that they cant fit me in and get me a dating scan anyway? any thoughts on this?

are you sure there are no one else here from my way since it is weird to think htere are so many pregnant people right now but then sayign that look at our thread.........

rach010 · 10/03/2008 09:43

Spink thanks for your kind words, please try to stay positive and let us know what happens, i will be thinking of you. Good Luck x

rach010 · 10/03/2008 09:47

bethoo i can't believe they wouldn't let you book in till now, i have had 1 appointment already and MW told me to book in again for 2 weeks time and when i tried she was fully booked so she is doing a home visit.

sambrads · 10/03/2008 09:51

spink i have everything crossed for you good luck xoxox

bethoo thats just typical of our health care not sure if you could phone hospital yourself could you go and see your gp and see what they say???

try not to think about having a m mc this baby is sticking

hello rach welcome as spink said you have to try and stay positive the only way of knowing whts happening is getting a scan .

Jambers99 · 10/03/2008 09:56

Spink, really sorry to hear your sad news, and hope it isn't the end for you

Welcome rach010, and good luck for your scan tomorrow.

Bethoo, I would be seriously p*ssed off if I were you - outrageous that they told you to wait and now can't fit you in. Def ring the hospital, since if you want a nuchal scan then that will need to be done before you're 14 weeks.

Hope the same doesn't happen to me. I've had to wait over 2 weeks to see the dr, so my first appt is on Wed when I'll be almost 8 weeks. Not sure how quickly after that I'll see the midwife & get scan booked in. All my symptons seem to have vanished (except for the lovely constipation), so fingers crossed that I'm still actually pg.

rach010 · 10/03/2008 10:11

Glad i'm not the only 1 with disappearing symptoms?

You lot seem to have rubbish GP's/MW i got an app with GP when only 4 weeks PG then he told me to book in with MW at 6 wk's she only did weight & height and history but at least i'm on the system (i hope!).

I will stay positive, i will stay positive!

sparklesandnowinefor9months · 10/03/2008 10:26

Hello ladies

I hope everyone is ok and getting throught the 1st tm ok

I will catch up properly soon on here but i'm in the middle of packing to move so not about much

but don't forget me on the list as i will def be back on more when i move

ronshar · 10/03/2008 10:47

Spink I really hope you are ok. I know it doesnt make it better but lots of women do have that kind of experience and carry to term.
Rach010. There is a lovely thread called Knicker checkers. It is chock full of women who have had at least one mc and who are now pregnant there is also a list of women who have recently graduated to become proper mums and everything. So there is hope for us all no matter what our histories.

My symptoms seem to be going too. My boobs are not very sore my little hard bump has moved up a bit. And mor eimportantly I am not feeling so crap. I have even done some cleaning this morning.
We are just getting the storm. Thunder and lightning brilliant.
