Thought I would take the plunge as I seem to have killed the previous thread . Will put a link on the old thread so you know where to come!

charitygrl I usually totally risk it in those situations. As long as it was cooked through to begin with I'm sure it'll be just fine.

And don't feel so bad about not being well. I've taken to adding "and making a person" to anything DH says. Did you wash the dishes? Yes, I did AND I'm making a baby!" LOL! Just to remind him what's going on over here

digitalgirl · 14/02/2008 17:54

i have just baked some scones.
oh. my. god.
they are delicious, especially with just whipped cream and jam. must be the baby, s/he is making me eat them.

DH better get home quick or there will be no valentine's surprise for him.

Sunshinemummy · 14/02/2008 18:24

Starlight - the cleaner doesn't just clean, she tidies and irons as well. It's bliss I tell ya!

Baking heart shaped biscuits with DS tomorrow for DP's return on Sat.

splishsplosh · 14/02/2008 18:38

Kel - glad to hear scan went well, and that you're feeling better Sunshinemummy

CG - I'd risk the food if the kitchen is fairly cold, just make sure thoroughly heated again

Feeling quite queasy since yesterday, and just don't feel like eating proper food, just junk.

So tired - despite having "moved out" partner keeps coming to stay as easier to get to work - at least yesterday he finished early and took dd out for a couple of hours and I slept which was bliss - was still desperate to go to bed by 10 though

Sunshinemummy · 14/02/2008 18:41

How's it going Splishsplosh?

Sassafrass · 14/02/2008 18:56

Finally have internet again! We've now moved to a bigger house with plenty of room for a second baby. I've also told my headteacher I'm pregnant and she didn't mind too much even though I'm the third teacher in the same class to get pregnant. My worst pregnancy symptom are still migraines and I'm now having 1-2 attacks a week which is leaving me absolutely drained. I've managed to go to the gym a couple of times though which has felt really good. Monday is scan day which I'm very excited and nervous for.

Sunshinemummy · 14/02/2008 18:58

Good luck for scan Sassafrass. I've been having headaches, not migraines, and been finding those difficult enough to deal with.

splishsplosh · 14/02/2008 19:04

Good luck for Monday Sassafrass

I'm OK Sunshinemummy, apart from queasiness and tiredness - had a long day with dd today, and had to kep tickling her on the way home as she was desperately trying to fall asleep, and I was equally desperate for her to hold on til bedtime - shewas out like a light at 6 - am i a mean mummy?

partner trying to be nicer I think, trying to show he's doing something about his issues etc, but did shout at me last night because I didn't rinse his rice the way he wanted it done

biglips · 14/02/2008 19:06

i think im gonna crash!!.....as ive cleaned non-stop all day whilst my mum had my DD for a whole day.....ahhhh bliss!!...i managed to wash my car and shammy the fresh water off the car and then tackled the house...as we were ill for 2 days, we have recovered....but now im dyhdrated....water water !!!

still wwwwwaaaaaaiiiiitttiiiiinnnnnnnnnnngggggg for my scan date! !!

biglips · 14/02/2008 19:08

feelingpositive · 14/02/2008 20:14

Hi girls

I have been quiet for a while as we have had guest staying. Then DH who has been away all week for work, got back last night, only to be called back to London again tonight and possibly for the weekend as well , so it was leftover risotto for by lonely valentines dinner. He really didn't want to leave me as I been feeling awful and vomiting in the morning...

I have been feeling more anxious as I get closer to the date the last pregnancy ended (9+5) and I am only 7+5 today. So I had booked a scan for tomorrow for reassurance, but now that DH is away and I don't want to go (with DD in tow) without him, I am going to have to reschedule it for next week...

Anyway enough of my whinging bleeding heart...

Congrats to those of you who have had positive scans, especially splishsplosh. I am hoping to have some positive news for you all next week too.

x fp

Sunshinemummy · 14/02/2008 20:18

Splishsplosh I hope things work out for you. It must be very stressful dealing with that as well as a DD and being pregnant.

FP you and I are in the same boat. I'm eating defrosted corned beef hash for dinner and watching an old relocation. It must be scary having lost one but fingers crossed for you this time.

You ladies with the wretched MS... can I ask how many weeks are you gone? I'm 8 weeks tomorrow and have felt like death warmed up for about a week although suddenly I feel less bad - so now I'm worried about silent MC's...

bogie · 15/02/2008 09:09

feelingpositive · 15/02/2008 09:16

Thanks starlight and sunshine. I am feeling less sorry for myself this morning and have rebooked my scan for next wednesday.

nauseous I too as 8 weeks tomorrow, and am feeling less queasy today. I am sure it is fine to have a few less sick days and it may come back tomorrow!

Gracie14 · 15/02/2008 09:31

Morning all,

Wow this thread moves so fast I can't keep up.

Sunshinesmummy - So pleased that bleeding has stopped for you, we will be counting down the days together until scan I've got mine next Friday and petrified there will be nothing there. Had lots of cramping yesterday just wish I could relax more. Take care hun and heres to the next week moving very quickly for us

feelingpostive - Hugs to you hun, its such a hard time worrying about mc but sending positive thoughts your way

nauseous - Sorry you were feeling so sick, it started with me at about 7 weeks and then by 8/9 weeks it had worn off slightly but then comes back on and off since then. I'm now 11+3 and its better than before which also worries me as well. Lets all stay positive together hun

bogie - have a great weekend away, very can I come would love a change of scenery

Leonie - Its scary how easy it is to fall asleep isn't it, I tend to need a sleep about 12 (but obviously can't because of work) so then have no energy for the rest of the day. But falling asleep at a wacky warehouse thats something

digitalgirl - your scones are making my mouth water, yum. May just have to go and have one (or two ) today - all for the baby though

Sassafrass - Sorry to hear about your migraines you poor thing, that must be so hard to live with Good luck with the scan on Monday let us know how it goes

Hey to everybody else

Sunshinemummy · 15/02/2008 09:47

Nauseous my disappeared at about 9 weeks and, apart fro the occasional queasiness, especially when I've just woken up, I don't feel at all ill now. Contributed to my overall panic I'm afraid.
