I would love to be in the small bump club, I'm already having to be vague about when I'm due and say early next year as people think it's perfectly fine to basically call me fat 🙄 I hated it last time I was pregnant, all the "you must be due soon!" And the shocked wow/surprised faces when I said no I'm X fat along. I just carry very out in front very early. Then I get the the baby must be huge in there! Comments,

@Gilm0reGirl ah people are shit with comments when pregnant! When I was around 32-34 weeks I had a client at work talk about their weight gain in the lead up to Xmas followed by "well you know too obviously" because they thought I had just got fat basically. I was like .... I'm pregnant I'm due next month!!

@Tropicana1 that is such a dick comment from your client! Honestly don't people think? I know ladies with smaller bumps get it too, a friend barely showed right up to 34 weeks and was so anxious as everyone became a medical professional and commented on the size of the baby etc. I might wear one of those "keep your hands and opinions away from my bump!" T-shirts.

Oh your bump will become public property. I had so many comments on mine. Some nice, some well meaning but missed the mark. I tell myself they’re just making conversation (clumsily)!

My mother in law is the worst for it. She never had a moment’s sickness apparently, and her kids never tantrummed. She also thinks breastfeeding mums are attention seeking hippies who just want to baby their… baby. She has a lot of 70s mum hang ups I think.

Ugh the opinions are so annoying aren’t they. I was saying about hoping to feel movement as my midwife had said it might be soon and she said that I won’t possibly be able to feel him for at least another few weeks as one of her friends who’s a midwife told her that 🙄 I’m sure I felt him this morning but I darent tell as she’ll insist I’m wrong 😂 I’m 17 weeks FTM with a posterior placenta so think movement is totally possibly now.

I'm 17+4 with posterior placenta and definitely think I've felt flutters too!! Ignore the opinions, even if certain people know you're right they'll always say the opposite just to undermine you 😂

Okay I take it back apparently I have an anterior placenta after all 😂 I’m sure she said it was at the back last time. Anyway scan was amazing, can’t believe how much he’s grown!

Me and DH were messing around today and I somehow barged my bump area into his leg (don’t ask how) 🤣. It’s the most impact it’s had and I’m getting paranoid I’ve done something especially as I’m convinced I’ve got an anterior placenta 🤦🏽‍♀️

I’m getting some sharp twinges in my lower abdo but have been getting them on and off throughout with likely round ligament pain. Anyone want to reassure me please 😅

@Chocolat sounds like it, I've been having sharp pain (particularly when moving about in bed at night) and pelvic pain for weeks now and my midwife wasn't concerned. Is it at the sides of your abdomen.?

Anyone else starting to find sleeping harder. I feel very aware when moving about at night. Tried a pregnancy pillow last night and hated it and keep rolling on to my back to sleep which I'm trying to stop. Might need to look at other pillow options to keep me on my side

@Chocolat hope you’re feeling okay, sounds like round ligament pain which I’ve had quite a lot of but if you’re worried always worth getting checked out.

@lj2022 I stretched over to the bedside table last night to reach my water and got this really sharp pain in my right lower abdomen that obviously hugely panicked me! It actually made me say "ouch!" out loud - hoping it's just some normal kind of pain though

@Chocolat I fell over this week and hit the ground hard, convinced I had hurt the baby ... all was absolutely fine, they are super protected in there! Hope your feeling ok.

I've been getting night pains too, seems to be just under ribs and round the edges of my tummy - I've tried walking around for a bit and that seems to help

@AliceinSlumberland your 4D scan image is so good! We had a sneak peek today at our scan of 4D, it did not look as good 😂 our DD was horrified that was in my tummy.

Our scan went well, mum was overjoyed to have been included as she's never seen one for any of her grandchildren and this will be the last one.

@Chocolat it does sound like they well cushioned in there whenever I've had a little bump, but if you're worried give your midwife a call they will know what to do

Evening ladies! hope that everybody is doing okay!

I have had some more spotting on and off when going to the toilet today 🤦🏼‍♀️ not phoned EPU though as it’s not as much as last time, and this seems to be the normal pattern for my daft body!
Im also having pains in my lower abdomen, sort of the sides and i can only explain it as pain on both sides of my uterus, i am 15 weeks now though and starting to look less bloated and more pregnant (only at the bottom!) so trying to just relax myself and take it easier.

I did jerk last night and it hurt! my dog is a rescue and has to sleep in the same room as us because of her horrible past, but she hated the fireworks last night and she jumped up barking which made me jerk up in bed wondering what on earth was going on at 1am! Wasn’t bleeding before this but baby is well protected as you all say, and doubt a sudden sit up would cause many issues!

@lj2022 im having a horrible time sleeping, the only position which seems to be comfortable is laying on my back which i have never ever done before! I’ve always been a side sleeper but since finding out im pregnant i just can’t sleep on my side!
I wake up so many times a night uncomfortable and find sleeping on my left gives me pain in my hip and my right gives me pains in my ribs 🤦🏼‍♀️ going to be a longggggg remainder of pregnancy if this is the pain now!

Told the boyfriend the other night he better enjoy one as im not going through this again, and we aren’t even half way through 😂😂

@AliceinSlumberland what an amazing photo! we have a gender scan booked for next Saturday and they give us a sneak peak 4D at the same scan, boyfriend is terrified to look as he thinks most babies look like aliens on them 😂😂
