I am the same symptom wise eating like a horse and nausea on and off. Boobs are defo tender and heavier. (Already have big enough ones so hate this symptom 🤣) I'm still having twinges in my side but it seems to be kidney so hopefully not an infection 🙄 swimming great exercise and low impact, have planned on going back myself 🥰 congrats to all the new ladies joining! X

bubble55 · 31/10/2022 17:00

Got my early scan booked for next week. So nervous but so excited too. Still got backache, hoping it subsides soon enough.

Eldance123 · 31/10/2022 17:19

@bubble55 what day is your early scan? So exciting! My docs booked me for my first midwife appt tomorrow then cancelled until next Tuesday :-(

Excited423 · 31/10/2022 17:56

Heya all, I'd love to join you! I'm 4+4 according to the app. It'll be my first child and super nervous but also excited!

Only got sore boobs, mild nausea and some fatigue. Hoping this stays this mild 🤞 but I'm sure it'll pick up in the next few weeks.

Making the most of it and staying active while I still can 😊

Hope everyone else is doing well x

Omg2lines · 31/10/2022 18:07

Hey everyone,

jumping in as I’m also due in July. Did my test (3 different ones just to make sure!) yesterday and according to the pregnancy+ app I’m 5 weeks tomorrow.

Having some cramps that feel like I’m about to come on my period, some mild nausea and sore boobs - taking these as a good sign and I’m trying not to worry too much.

36 and this is my first pregnancy, have my first hospital appointment on the 22nd! Super excited ☺️

Ldougal92 · 31/10/2022 18:36

So lovely to see some new faces here!

I have also booked an early scan for the 22 Nov, I will be 7 weeks - just to have some reassurance. Counting down the days now!!

I also contacted the maternity ward to get allocated a midwife - all these little things are making it feel way more real!

Congratulations!!!

bubble55 · 31/10/2022 18:54

@Eldance123 next Wednesday eek!

Congrats to all the new BFP’s! 😍

MendaciousMabel · 31/10/2022 19:53

Hi everyone! I'm 5 weeks on Wednesday, first pregnancy so I'm big bundle of nerves and excitement at the moment. It still doesn't feel real!

I am so bloody tired, it's like I never knew what tiredness was until this week! Other than that I get some waves of nausea and I do feel hungry a lot, especially for savoury stuff and I usually have a sweet tooth.

Really excited to get involved with this thread ☺️

gg9320 · 01/11/2022 06:05

Hi everyone,
I’m due July 11th - just found out a few days ago and I’m still in shock! I also really relate to all the nerves, I just want to get to a scan so I be convinced I’m actually pregnant and tell family! I’m 4 weeks today and it feels like a long road to our 7 week early scan.

bubble55 · 01/11/2022 07:41

Congrats @gg9320 and @MendaciousMabel

5w1d today and feeling very nauseous 🤒

Butterfliesandroses · 01/11/2022 09:42

Hi all, I'm still here. 4 weeks today according to my app. Reading along but not feeling confident to join in fully yet. So anxious following previous MCs. Going to call the GP to register the pregnancy later this week. May book an early scan for 7 weeks too xx

Glawen · 01/11/2022 10:44

We've got quite the tribe coming along now ☺️ congrats all!

@Butterfliesandroses bless you, I can only imagine how anxious you must be feeling, we're all here for you ❤️

I called my GP this morning and he's going to refer me to the midwifery team. I'm a bit nervous about this as a know A LOT of people that work there and that they'll find out. Don't know how I'm going to get away with it and really want it to be private 😕 we haven't told anyone yet so that's making me really anxious.

I'm completely there with you! My mum works on Maternity at our hospital and she will know as soon as my booking is done and I'm just not ready to let people know yet!

I've noticed lots of people mentioning about early scans - is this private or NHS can I ask?? Xx

Omg2lines · 01/11/2022 10:53

We’ve told a few close friends and immediate family, my thoughts are positive but even if (touch wood) the worst happens then I’d like a bit of support from my nearest and dearest.

Ladyold · 01/11/2022 11:09

@Butterfliesandroses ah I know how you feel, hopefully all goes well this time.

I’m considering going for an early scan as well- so we can let my husband’s family know over Christmas (told my mum already of course…!)

For today I am combatting nausea and tiredness with left over Halloween sweets!

Restingpotato · 01/11/2022 11:10

@Excited423 I think im the same as you 4+5 today, due 6th?

@Glawen I was really active before my 1st pregnancy and managed to keep it up doing gym and running until about week 7 when the sickness hit then I could barely move! Think my exercise this time will be yoga, pilates and running after 2 year old!

Excited423 · 01/11/2022 13:58

Aw yes @Restingpotato, I'm also due on the 6th. I ovulatated a few days later than normal so wondering if it'll change at the dating scan.

How are you doing today? I hope the queasiness hasn't got worse

Private scan :) I think the one near me in London was £79.

I was wondering this exact same thing - i didn't ovulate until day 18 - so not sure if that throws me back a few days or not! Let me know if you find out before me x

How’s everyone feeling today? My sore boobs have stopped hurting now and im just hungry ALL the time lol!

I’m officially 6 weeks Thursday and my midwife has referred me for an early scan; quite nervous as it’s probably too early to see anything but also excited!

x

I'll definitely let you know. I'm getting bloods done again on Friday and then they'll book me in for my early scan.

I'm Irish but out in Cape Town so still trying to get my head around how appointments etc work here.

I can't wait to have a scan. It'll make it all feel a bit more real x

ohh yes, I bet it is much different over there!

I have just had my midwife appointment come through for the end of November. Surprised it was a phone call and not face to face though.

Do you know when we should expect to find out about our 12 week scans ?Do they just send a letter with a date?

OP posts:
Daniki · 01/11/2022 18:52

I'm based in Ireland so no NHS but because I had a miscarriage in august the EPU told me I can have a reassurance scan at 7 weeks I just have to ring rang week so that will be the week of the 14th nov! I referred myself for my booking app etc and I got my date for my 12 scan the 23rd dec 🥰

bubble55 · 01/11/2022 19:08

I’ve just registered with the midwife. Was feeling so anxious to do so as every time I’ve done it before, I’ve lost the pregnancy. Feeling more confident this time, fingers crossed. Really, really hope we can get our 12 week scan christmas week or else I’ll book privately as I really want to share the news at christmas x
