LOL. I had the same thing a month or so back. Does your head ache as well? Someone told me on here that it´s probably a migraine. I got freaked out by it as I´d never had one before. Touch wood I haven´t had one for a while.

VictorianSqualor · 13/02/2008 11:37

No, my head is fine, but I have had a really weird headcold and fever the last two days so I'm assuming it's just left over from that.I was running around washing my eyes with saline solutions from the first aid kit and everything.

Soph73 · 13/02/2008 11:49

Poor you, hope you feel better soon. I´m a bit worried that MW will sign me off work on Friday because blood pressure is too high still & I´ve got shed loads of work to do before Easter. It´s not easy to relax in a school though

scorpio1 · 13/02/2008 11:59

Try to get some rest, VS how is your BP? if it was high last time i would try and get a check if your vision is being funny.

I will have 3 of my own children and a DSS and im 23 , not 24 until November. i was pg at 16 so if i have another before im 25 i will have been doing it 9 years and thats long enough!! When im 40 children will be 23, 21 and 17, and possibly if we have another 15. oh yeah all that free time!!!

Had Mw today, she was 45 mins late seeing us.iron at 28 weeks was 12.0, all ok apparently. Millie is HEAD DOWN yes!!!!! but not engaged or anything yet. HB fine too

I next see her at 34+, so three weeks today. and then its the HB appt.

VictorianSqualor · 13/02/2008 12:05

My blood pressure was okay yesterday, so I'm assuming it isn't that.

This baby is head down as well.

scorpio1 · 13/02/2008 12:07

oh, thats weird then. mine was lower today than at any other time.

Hope you feel better soon anyway, whatever it is.

Millie was breech last time @ 28 weeks but has moved, am so chuffed!

Soph73 · 13/02/2008 12:08

Hi Scorpio - what's HB? You´re soooo young My MW should be fairly pleased with me on Fri because when I went to the Drs last week I hadn´t put on any weight at all. Blood test results were all fine as well. Just need to discuss the birth with her again

scorpio1 · 13/02/2008 12:09

my homebirth appt

don't worry i feel 50 if that helps??

EllieG · 13/02/2008 12:12

Hello all

VS - you take care of yourself and get some rest OK? Take it easy lady

Elliebean is still breach - was last week anyway - but they said they won't going to worry til 36 weeks or summat

OP posts:
scorpio1 · 13/02/2008 12:14

oh yes ellie dont worry, they still have plenty of time and room; its just mine have always been head down so was out of the norm for me iyswim?

TLSM · 13/02/2008 12:15

Got my GTT test results and all is OK Which is a relief!

Nice to hear that Scorpio and VS both are now head down there is hope for me can i ask did you feel them turn and also has the kicking changed? I say that because it still feels like i am being kicked really low?

EllieG · 13/02/2008 12:16

Am not worried yet, though really don't want a c-section. But needs must I suppose.

OP posts:
scorpio1 · 13/02/2008 12:17

the kicks have changed; i get wrigglings low down and big kicks high up. I didn't feel this one turn though, thank god! i did with ds1 and was sick but i did notice when she did the next day iyswim?

VictorianSqualor · 13/02/2008 12:20

I feel more wobbles now than kicks.
I get aches up the top, just below my bra where it's foot gets caught, and the bump feels heavier now, but that's cos it's dropped some more, feel a lot less down low in the bump though.
I didn't feel it turn, no, and apparently it ahs turned about 4 times in the last month!

scorpio1 · 13/02/2008 12:21

i got that sleeping bag today; it comes with a temp chart and tog rating advice so pleased with that, although they are not straight from birth it says.

Mum2b2BabyRoo · 13/02/2008 12:25

I felt baby turn - very strange feeling - made me throw up too.

Peachy · 13/02/2008 12:33

VS could be BP, could also be iron, both can cause spots before eyes (as can dehydration and temperature changes such as getting out bath), needs checking though.

Soph73 · 13/02/2008 12:33

I seem to get well and truly hoofed all over at the moment, sometimes though it definitely feels like a hand or a foot just underneath my ribs. He´s still head up at the mo though cos I saw him on the machine last week Won´t worry about whether he´s turned for a few weeks yet.

Soph73 · 13/02/2008 12:34

Scorpio - you feel 50 ... think how us old dears feel

Peachy · 13/02/2008 12:35

Scorpio- hve my HB appointment a week today! Eeeek!

VictorianSqualor · 13/02/2008 12:47

Ugh, really? Even though I had all my bloods and everything done yesterday?

I do feel very thirsty though, maybe it's just cos I didnt eat or drink a lot yesterday?

scorpio1 · 13/02/2008 12:54

VS maybe drink lots and then re-evaluate at say 3pm?

Peachy - let us know how it goes

scorpio1 · 13/02/2008 13:03

whats for lunch?

Me: Broccolli and cheese soup, marmite sarnie, banana.

possible devouring of mini eggs when Jeremy Kyle is on at 1.30 - 3.30

VictorianSqualor · 13/02/2008 13:04

I'm going to see how I feel once I've got DD from school, tbh I think it's a fluey/cold type thing, Dp has been dosing himself up, DD has started saying things taste funny and sneezing and the fever/hot flushes/cold sweats I had last night and the night before just seem to point at illness ratehr than pregnancy problems, I know my urine had a +1 of protein yesterday, but that's quite normal for me, and my BP was fine, as were my bloods so even if it is something worse I wouldnt have thought a couple of hours would make much difference.

sagitta · 13/02/2008 13:22

Hi VS - I had bad vision all the way through my last pregnancy - I was pretty much blind by the end, but no one seemed very bothered by it and dd is fine. I've had it a bit this time too but haven't mentioned it to MW.

What's all this about hospitals not letting you carry the baby? I wasn't allowed to leave dd alone even for a second (although I did as I didn't know rule and was too weak to carry her)

About age - I think there are definitely pros and cons. I'm a bit about scorpio who will have life back at 40, there again I had a great time in my 20s and early 30s...and I can't imagine coping with DCs pre-30...
